  Delicious and Unique wedding food

  We booked red lion for our caterer for wedding and we absolutely loved working with them. Sandy, and all of the staff were so incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a couple of different tastings, trying to nail down the menu and Sandy did a great job of keeping track of all of our different ideas. We were able to really customize our entree options so that we could accommodate vegetarians/vegans. They had a nice variety of traditional wedding food as well as tasty unique options. We went with curry for one option and were able to do a vegan option as well as a chicken option for all guests. The food was delicious at the wedding and guests kept raving about it, especially the lion's curry. All the staff were so kind and helpful the day of as well. Red lion's prices were more than fair as well, some of the other caterers we looked at were much more expensive. After the wedding Sandy made sure we had left overs to eat in the hotel room.

  We used Red Lion for our buffet meal at our wedding 6/21/24

  We cannot rave enough about Red Lion and Sandy. From the start, communication was not only very clear but so kind. ANY question we had Sandy answered quickly and so kindly, understanding how important the day was to us. We thought the price was extremely reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious. SOOOO many people stopped us to rave about it. Thank you to Sandy for a seamless experience.

  Incredible Experience with Red Lion

  We loved Red Lion. We were incredibly satisfied with Red Lion for our wedding catering and rehearsal dinner. We found out that they were a preferred vendor for our venue and their Catering Director Sandy absolutely blew us away with her hospitality and punctuality with quotes and such. We would recommend giving them a try if you are still considering your options and you’ll likely want to sign with them by the end of your tasting. Oh wait, did I mention the food is great too and an awesome value! Our guests were going back for 2nds and 3rds at both meals. Because of the plethora of delicious options we did have to go back for numerous tastings to fine tune our menu which Sandy was happy to accommodate. Highly recommend the Mushroom Tarragon Chicken, Braised Short Rib, Mac n Cheese and if you’re considering a rehearsal dinner spot they have FRIDAY FISH FRY!!! We are so happy with our decision to choose Red Lion, cheers y’all!

  The perfect catering for our Milwaukee wedding.

  Red Lion was EXCELLENT at everything they did. Communication was amazing, the food was great, and everything ran right on schedule! Sandy was super easy to work with, answered any question we had, and worked flawlessly with all our other vendors. You can't go wrong with Red Lion and we can't speak highly enough of them!

  Best Catering in Milwaukee!

  We worked with Sandy and she was absolutely amazing. She was extremely responsive and great with keeping to our budget, while providing the delicious food to our guests. We did quite a few tastings throughout Milwaukee and LOVED Red Lion's food the best! She also helped us order linen and made sure everything was set up and perfect the day of our wedding. We highly recommend hiring Red Lion for your event or wedding. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Sandy, and team!

  Absolutely Amazing!

  Red Lion Pub was absolutely amazing! Sandy and the rest of her team executed the dinner flawlessly. Sandy was extremely professional, helpful and flexible during the entire process. The only difficult part was figuring out what food we wanted because they had so many fantastic options to choose from! We ended up going with the Braised Short Rib as well as the Mushroom & Spinach Penne as our main courses with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables as our sides. Every guest we spoke with said that they loved the food. Red Lion Pub was also able to get us a smaller portion of Mac N’ Cheese for the kids that attended the wedding. Our hat also goes off to the Red Lion Pub for being able to coordinate such a flawless execution on the day of the wedding especially considering it was at a venue they had never been to before. Thank you Sandy & Red Lion Pub for helping to make our Wedding day even more special!

  If you are still looking for a food vendor, you can stop! They literally check off every box that you are looking for. We got countless compliments about how good our food was. All the appetizers and the entrees were delicious. Funny enough, our guests kept saying "wow you must have really spent a lot for the food", but really Red Lion was one of the most affordable vendors that we found and it definitely was the tastiest. The BEST part is how flexible they are and how much they help. We can not thank Sandy enough (the one in charge of the food). She literally is the BEST! She was on top of everything, we did not have to worry at all and everything was perfect. Not only did she help with our food, she brought up things unrelated to our food that we never even thought about (common things that couples miss). Seriously, I can not recommend them enough.

  Exactly what we wanted!

  We were looking for a small venue to host up to 50 people with a British touch. Three Lions Pub was perfect. Sandy the event manager was outstanding in preparing for the day, the staff were professional and accommodating, the food was excellent and pricing was reasonable. We are very happy with the venue and will be back for food, drinks and fun!

  Red Lion - Great food & amazing customer service

  Sandy and the Red Lion team were wonderful to work with. We planned our Milwaukee wedding while living in Tennessee and felt comfortable throughout the whole process. The food was outstanding - we received so many compliments on the braised short ribs with horseradish sauce! Red Lion was one of our favorite vendors and we cannot recommend them enough.

  Could not have asked for a better caterer

  Sandy and Red Lion Pub were the best caterers we could ask for on our big day. Sandy was responsive and accommodating. Any special requests (i.e special plates at the head table for food) she made work. On top of how great they were to work with, the food was delicious! It all turned out great, 10/10 recommend.

  Red Lion Catering made our wedding great

  Red Lion helped make our wedding really great. They were super flexible when we postponed a full year due to COVID and they were great dealing with cancellations due to COVID. The food was fantastic - our guests really enjoyed both the quality and variety. And working with Red Lion staff was super easy. I would definitely hire their catering staff again for another event and highly recommend them to others.

  Sandy at Lion Catering was INCREDIBLE and everything we wanted in a caterer. From the very beginning of our communication, she was responsive and helpful, making excellent suggestions but never pushing. We received tons of compliments on the food from our guests, and our late-night snacks were gone super fast! We are so grateful for everything she did throughout this whole process - where planning a wedding can be stressful, she picked it up effortlessly and made it so easy and seamless, and we are eternally grateful for them. We hope to have another party soon so that we can work with them again!!

  The most accommodating, the most professional, and most amazing company to gl have do any event.

  My expectations were high, maybe a 9 out of 10, because nothing is ever perfect, but after they did our wedding I would rate them a 20 out of 10!!!! They were absolutely more than perfect!!!!

  Totally awesome and excellent to cater daughters wedding in our home

  Red Lion Rocks!

  My husband is a huge soccer fan so we decided to do the rehearsal dinner for our wedding this summer at the Red Lion out on the back patio. It was the most perfect venue and meal! Our friends and family raved about the food and planning everything (including drink tickets, menu, and dealing with a year long postponement during a pandemic) was easy with their event coordinator. We were able to play games on the deck and mingle and had plenty of room when a few extra unexpected guests arrived. Would recommend for any event!

She was always very prompt to answer questions (and I had a lot of them!) and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Not to mention that the food was amazing! Everyone raved about the food, especially the scotch eggs. The catering staff was also very attentive and helpful all night long, and even set aside some appetizers and dessert for the groom and I since we were so busy on the day of. Would highly recommend Red Lion to anyone!

  Wonderful Venue for an Intimate Wedding!

  The Red Lion Pub was absolutely the best choice we could have made for our wedding venue! Sandy was professional, helpful, and kind. She knew what to do before we even asked her. She walked us through every step of the process and helped us decorate the day before and day off. The wait staff was so friendly to us and our guests, providing a wonderful atmosphere for our guests. Everyone raved about the food, and we could not have been more happy at the end of the night. Thank you, Sandy and Red Lion Pub for helping us with our favorite day! We look forward to celebrating our anniversary with a meal there! :)

  Flexibility and Detail Oriented

  I could not say enough about how helpful Sandy and her staff were. Sandy was so flexible and did everything to make our menu exactly what we wanted. She made it easy for us to plan a wedding from the other side of the country. I was very impressed with the amount of staff and their professionalism throughout our day. Sandy made sure every detail was taken care of.

  Delighted with our choice!

  We used Red Lion for our daughter’s wedding last weekend. We were very pleased with every aspect of their service and our interactions with them. Sandy was always very professional and could not have been nicer! She listened to what we requested and made suggestions when appropriate. We interviewed several other caterers, who were nice also, but after meeting with Sandy for the first time and doing a tasting we all (the bride, groom, my husband and I) knew that there was no reason to look further. We did a second tasting with a few variations and tweaks and everything was perfect. We met again a few days before the event, along with the venue manager, to finalize everything. Sandy was wonderful about taking note of little requests as well as all allergy information. We had 3 meal choices as well as a children’s meal and there were no mistakes. My only small complaint would be that the vegetables were supposed to be a steamed vegetable medley (which I envisioned as something colorful, like broccoli and red pepper) but was steamed a squash. It looked rather dull. Had we articulated our preference, I know they would have included it.

  You Will Not Be Disappointed

  It's easy to talk about the quality of the food from Red Lion because it was superbly cooked in both tastings and on the wedding day. We got TONS of compliments from our guests. But what I can't emphasize more than all else is Sandy, who coordinated everything. Not only was she incredibly helpful, but she gently kept us on deadline, reminded us not to worry and genuinely made us feel like we were taken care of. Her demeanor and presence, despite the craziness of planning a wedding, was actually comforting, which says a lot about how she and Red Lion do business. If you're looking for a flexible caterer who is top notch at nailing the details and eases your wedding planning instead of making it more stressful, look no further.
