User2600210 Sent on 05/08/2016RTC catered our wedding this past April - and they did a phenomenal job. Colleen was extremely responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We were able to try the different food options at multiple open houses. The food was delicious, and our guests had great things to say about it! The team was very professional, and the food was cooked perfectly.
Hiring RTC was a wonderful decision that ended up saving us thousands of dollars. -
User1732670 Sent on 07/26/2014AMAZING. I received many compliments on Renton Tech. Francisco and his team were absolutely fabulous. They were so helpful on my wedding day. The day after I got married, my mother got married and Francisco was there again to help! We are both extremely pleased with his services. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, the cake was beautiful (the color ended up being a little off on the right shade).
I would definitely use again. So happy with Renton Tech. Thanks!! -

Emily Sent on 10/12/2010RTC did an amazing job, the food was delicious, way better than any of the tastings we had gone to for expensive caterers. The students dressed professionally (all in black), did an amazing job plating and serving. We got so many compliments on our food, no one knew or would have guessed that we had students! I highly recommend them, we had a plated dinner, with a starter and salad, plus 3 passed appetizers for 50, and we spent under $1700, the best value and excellent food! -
User2121142 Sent on 05/06/2015I worked with Collene and she was wonderful to work with. She was very helpful to me with the wedding planning. On the day of the Caters were scheduled to arrive at 230 and when I showed up at 3 they still had not showed up. My sister that was there before hand said she was trying to call the emergnacy line and no one was answering and same with the college. We had no idea if they were going to show but they did at 330 and said they were stuck in traffic. On monday I recieved and email from her saying the point was they made it there and she would take off that hour labor charge. Up till then all her emails were very personalized and thought the email was rude and inconsiderate. -

Shellie Sent on 08/29/2012First I will say RTC had good food, an excellent price, professional servers, and was great to work with before and during the wedding. However I was disappointed with Colleen's response after the wedding when there was a problem.
We were under the impression that the plastic plates they provided was a nicer china look alike, along with silver look alike plastic utensils. I have an e-mail were I asked about the type of plastic they provided and that was the only type described to me (along with giving me the option of paying more for real china rentals). When we went to the tasting it was the only plates and utensils we were shown. But on the day of the wedding what we got was plain black utensils and ugly recyclable brown/beige-ish plates. I was extremely disappointed and upset that we weren't getting what we had been led to believe we would get. The chef/servers that were at the reception where very nice and apologetic about and and told me they would talk to Colleen about the problem.
A few days later I was contacted by Colleen saying something along the lines of 'Heard everything went great at your wedding, what card should I charge the remaining balance to?' To which I replied that we were actually not entirely happy and explained the problem. Later she replied that she had heard about the incident, but that we had stated we wanted the free plates and those ones were free. When I replied with the e-mail I had talking about the plates she said that she did not have that e-mail (I feel she was accusing me of lying) and that the plates we thought we were getting cost more. While exchanging these e-mails she charged the remaining amount to my card.
Though I understand that we need to pay for the service we got, I feel like she was entirely unapologetic about the mix up, and it would have been more professional for her to not charge us until the matter had been resolved. Which it still hasn't.
Very Disappointed with the aftermath. Very poor problem handling.
