Monique ended up doing multiple trials for me because I just loved the way she did my hair and makeup! She’s the first person ever to get it right for me. She makes me look like ME, just more glamorous. She listens to my requests and always delivers. She’s passionate and imaginative. She offers suggestions and expertise helping your vision come to life.
Having an early wedding, Monique came early with her team- prepared and organized. Her timing worked out perfectly and all my girls raved about their looks. From the time I got engaged to receiving my wedding photography- Monique made being a bride celebratory and exciting.
Being confident that I would go into my special day feeling beautiful made wedding planning and execution so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend trusting the most photographed day of your life with a true talented professional, Monique! -

Helped bring my vision to life!
Really enjoyed working with Monique for my wedding! She really made sure she was understanding my vision and happy with the results! She was very helpful and responsive with all my questions. She was always on time and professional. My hair was amazing and everyone in the wedding party was very happy!! Definitely recommend her for weddings! -

631.687.7119 - Book her book her book her! My hair is my biggest insecurity. Monique has a GIFT. she is so gentle but that shit stayed in my hair until 3am when I manually took out the extensions. I have very curly hair and I hate when the front pieces start curly because of sweat. Never happened… i don’t know what Monique did but my day would not have been the same without her. She made me feel beautiful on the most special day of my life. And not to mention she is the sweetest person and so easy to get along with. Make a friend and hire her! -

I found Monique on Instagram and let me tell you, she is the best! She helped me through the entire process of trying to find a hair style that would best complement my wedding dress. I had two trials with her to find that perfect style and she has always been there for any of my questions and concerns. I had a very early getting ready time and Monique and her team were punctual and did an amazing job on my bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in law and my hair. You will not be disappointed when booking with Resilient Beauty. -

Wedding Hair Review!
Monique with Resilient Beauty is phenomenal! She did both mine and my bridesmaid’s hair for my wedding day. My hair come out exactly how I wanted and I was so happy. She was so easy to work with and super receptive to all my thoughts and questions. We also had so much fun on the morning of my wedding day. Everything went so smoothly.. I was shocked at how calm that morning was. It was such a pleasant experience. Please don’t hesitant to book Monique!!! She will make you absolutely gorgeous for any occasion :-) -

Amazing!
Okey, as I’m sure a lot of you ladies can agree, searching for the right Hair and Makeup is stressful! Your looking for an amazing artist, who will work with your vision of the day, deliver a perfect product, while simultaneously balancing your your emotional rollercoaster and talking you down from the ledge! Monique was all of this for me and more!! She is an AMAZINGLY gifted hair and makeup artists, as well as the KINDEST professional I have ever sat down in a chair with. She dealt with my anxious energy the day of, and smiled and calmed me down the whole way through! My hair and makeup did not move the entire night!! My hair actually didn’t move until the next day, because I was too tired to fiddle with the clip ins after the reception. The wonderful women she brought with her to work with my party we’re extremely talented and extremely professional in themselves. Looking back, I would not change one thing about my hair or makeup, or the entire experience with Monique, the owner of Resilient Beauty. I will love her forever for making me look like I had always envisioned on my wedding day! Thank you Monique, and Resilient Beauty!! -

Monique from Resilient Beauty did my makeup for my November 27th Wedding. When I first met her, we were doing a trial and I said “I want to look like a glammed up version of myself” and she knew EXACTLY what I meant and nailed it. Fast forward 11 months to my wedding and she delivered yet again. Both myself and my bridesmaids makeup came out flawless. Everyone loved how natural but beautiful they looked. Second most important was that my makeup remained perfect through the many tears I cried that day, and it did! I cried (happy tears) multiple times throughout the day and you absolutely wouldn’t know it.
Leading up to the wedding Monique was responsive to many many questions and was SO organized when it came to plan a timeline. She kept close communication with my hair dresser to ensure that the morning would flow smoothly. The morning was perfectly timed, not rushed, and I even had time to relax before it was time to leave.
Monique is friendly, sweet, and has a great energy- qualities that you definitely would want out of someone you’re spending time with during your wedding day with! I highly recommend Monique and Resilient Beauty! -

Monique is the absolute best!!
Monique is AMAZING! She did my hair for my wedding and it was everything I could have hoped for. I had her stay for touch ups and it was the best decision as she fixed my hair multiple times during pictures and made sure my hair was perfect the whole day. From the beginning to the end Monique was amazing! She is so personable- she is truly talented at what she does. She did my Hair & Make-Up for my wedding, made me feel absolutely beautiful. 10/10/10/10. Monique is exceptional. My hair was truly a vision. I looked like a goddess and felt like the most beautiful person in the world. Monique is such a professional and not only did I look amazing but everybody in my bridal party and there were 14 of us plus two little girls.
Her team was incredible, and everyone felt so seen and heard. I have been in dozens of weddings and my hair always ends up looking meh. All of my bridesmaids kept coming up to me telling me how beautiful they felt and that just felt SO good as a bride.
The part that still makes me really emotional is that Monique wasn't confident in my friend taking off my veil so she decided to stay until after the ceremony to take it off herself and fix my hair. I felt like I had been given an angel.
I don't even really think I need to speak as the photos do it justice. If you can work with Monique it will be the best decision you ever make for your wedding. -

Wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Since I got married in July 2020, when Covid was changing all of our plans and dreams of our wedding day, the one thing I knew wanted was to look and feel beautiful - as we all do! But it was important to me not to give that up that day. Monique was so kind, understanding, and professional throughout all of the craziness of that time. I had two ceremonies so that I could be married and then celebrate with family and friends and Monique was there for me! She listened to what I wanted and made me feel so beautiful throughout the process!! I didn’t have to worry about giving up that feeling of being a bride even though our day was not as we planned it would be. Monique was very clean, organized, and her time management was perfect for the morning of (both days)! Would hire her alll over again!! 🤍🤍 -

Choose monique!
Monique is AMAZING!!!! She did my hair and make up for my bridal shower and my wedding! She did multiple trial runs with me and we had so much fun as she helped me narrow down and figure out how I wanted my hair/make up done. She knew exactly what styles/colors would look good for me and recommended them. She was so nice, patient and helpful along the way! I cannot recommend her enough! She also did hair and make up for my bridal party and two of the girls have since also used her for their own weddings because they loved her so much! It’s a big deal to trust someone for your special day. But she managed time and made sure everyone was done and got exactly what they asked for! I promise Monique will make you feel like a princess and at ease for your special day!!! And I still get my hair done by her-she’s the only one I will go to now!!! -

Monique from Resilient Beauty truly exceeded my wedding hair expectations. She came to me as a recommendation and I won’t hire anyone else moving forward! At my trial, she assessed my inspiration picture and truly made it come to life. On my wedding day, she did it all over again! She is careful, thorough, & reassuring. She is also very meticulous which is important in this industry. She is reasonably priced and an absolute joy to be in the presence of. I am thrilled with her work and I can’t wait to book with her again! -
