Shelly was such a pleasure to work with! Personalizing our ceremony with her was a breeze. She was a wonderful listener as she took the time to get to know us. For example, what were our hopes and dreams as a couple? What would the perfect day be? On the wedding day the message was clearly ours as she creatively crafted a message of the love surrounding our story and our hopes for the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Shelly to anyone who is looking for a genuine officiant for their very own ceremony- big or small. -

When it came time to plan our wedding ceremony, Shelly was the only officiant we considered. Although neither my husband or I are particularly religious, we knew we wanted to incorporate some key aspects of a Christian ceremony that would feel personal and meaningful to us and our relationship; Shelly made that extremely easy and enjoyable. The pre-marital counseling sessions we completed in the months leading up to our wedding were a stress-free highlight amidst other wedding-planning responsibilities. When it came time to actually mapping out our ceremony, Shelly took the time to understand what we wanted and designed a perfectly personal service. During our wedding rehearsal and on the day of our wedding itself, Shelly provided support with structuring the ceremony activities, ensured everyone understood their roles, and made us feel relaxed and loved - exactly how a couple should feel as they wed! -

When my husband and I think back to our wedding day, our favorite memory - by far - is that of Shelly marrying us. Our guests were also particularly vocal about how impressed they were with her. I remember one guest who spoke to us after the ceremony and said, "You could just feel God's love around you when Shelly was speaking." Shelly is attentive, sensitive, perceptive, professional, and fun. She tailored our wedding ceremony service to us specifically in a way that truly captured who we are as a couple (our beliefs, feelings towards one another, etc.). My husband and I enjoyed every minute we spent with Shelly during the preparation process as well (she offered us pre-marital counseling sessions, helped with picking out music, planning the service itself, etc.). Although we were married out of state (in North Carolina) Shelly was available for us and I was lucky enough to spend some one-on-one time with her the night before our big day. She has such a calming presence and provided such a fantastic extra level of support - she really met our needs on many different levels. My husband and I have no doubt in our minds that whether you have known Shelly for years, attend her church, or are simply considering her as the officiant for your wedding, she would be an excellent fit because she is honest, communicates exceptionally well, and is a "pro" at what she does. Thank you, Shelly, for being such a blessing to us! -
