  Excellent ceremony with Rev It Up

  Jarrod from Rev It Up officiated our wedding in May 2019. Working with Jarrod to prepare the ceremony was easy and fun. His approach gave us a lot of creative input, and the end product felt very special and unique to us. Jarrod performed the ceremony exceptionally well and he quickly took care of submitting our marriage license after the wedding.

  Jarrod is THE BEST! I think it's hard to find an officiant that's engaging and makes the ceremony personal and interesting to listen to. When I met Jarrod, I knew he was perfect! He is so nice and you can tell he just loves love. He wants to know your story and what makes your relationship special so he can tailor a totally custom and personal ceremony speech. I can tell he put a lot of thought into ours and he had the whole crowd laughing and crying! He made our ceremony perfect!

  First off, let me say if you’re reading these reviews and considering hiring Jarrod from Rev it Up for your ceremony, go and hire him, right now! Jarrod, is sweet and kind, which shows through everything he does. Jarrod was so prepared and organized meeting us in person, sending over a questionnaire and helping us find the perfect readings for our ceremony. The result was a beautifully written ceremony specific to us and our personalities, leaving everyone in the room with a full understanding of who we both were and what makes us perfect for each other. We received many compliments on how unique and personal our ceremony was, thanks to Jarrod! He helped us with our vows, led an organized and smooth rehearsal and even took a second at the end of the ceremony so he wasn’t in the background during our first kiss photos! I recommend Jarrod because I hope everyone can have a ceremony as wonderful as ours!

  Jarrod officiated our wedding on February 14th, 2015. I had my heart set on a completely secular ceremony that blended my husband's and my cultures. I also wanted sincere and heartfelt AND short and sweet. Seems like a lot to ask for but Jarrod definitely delivered! He was awesome in the planning stages, always answered my emails in a timely manner, gave us tons of advice and tools for ceremony planning, vow writing, etc. We had an in-person meeting to finalize all the details a few weeks before the rehearsal which was great to get all our final questions/thoughts answered or discussed as well as giving us piece of mind that all was ready. He took charge at the rehearsal and gave great directive so everyone knew what to expect and what was expected of them. Lastly, the day of the wedding he performed a beautiful ceremony that left very few dry eyes in the house and I got an abundance of compliments on at the reception. He took care of scanning us a copy of our signed license and sending it off to the clerk for us so it was all complete when we got back from our honeymoon. I will definitely be recommending Jarrod every chance.

  Jarrod was a wonderful officiant for our wedding. He was exactly the type of person we were looking for. My husband and I wanted a secular ceremony that represented us as individuals and a couple. Jarrod was so easy to work with during the whole process. He really listened to what we were looking for and gave great feedback and ideas to enhance the ceremony. He asked some questions about how we met and what we like to do together and what we envisioned for the ceremony. About two months before the wedding, he sent over a draft of the ceremony, several readings he selected for us to choose from, and a list of some traditional and nontraditional ideas. He was open to any changes, unlimited revisions, and offering more suggestions if we needed. He was very professional and provided the perfect simple ceremony we were looking for!

  Jarrod was the perfect efficient. Our wedding planner introduced him to us and from the first meeting he made us feel very comfortable. Being a gay couple we were having an "unconventional" ceremony - but wanted it to feel rich with tradition while not being to spiritual. Jarrod listened to what we said and wrote a custom ceremony and vows just for us – that couldn’t have been more perfect. He was ready and willing to work with us through slight revisions and delivered a great ceremony the day of. I can’t say enough about Jarrod and highly recommend his services.
