  Wonderful to Work With

  Steve was an absolute joy to work with. My wife and I felt strongly about tailoring our ceremony to fit our personalities, along with writing our own personal vows. Steve was very positive from the get go and helped us develop a ceremony that was the right fit for us both. On the day of the wedding, he was calm, encouraging, and helpful, all with a dash of humor. We couldn't recommend Steve more for your next wedding ceremony.

  Reverend Steve was an absolutely wonderful officiant for our wedding!! We had never met before our rehearsal, but by speaking with him on the phone and by email I felt so comfortable to have him officiate our wedding. He is so friendly and made my husband and I feel at ease on our big day. I highly recommend Steve for anyone in need of an officiant for their destination wedding!

  Steve was incredible!! We felt like we knew him for years, he was super friendly & made us feel comfortable during the whole process. He kept the ceremony light and beautiful. He knows exactly what he's doing & it didn't feel like a stranger was marrying us. He was a great choice for our wedding & we loved having him be a part of our special day!!

  You really can't ask for a better officiant than Steve. Not only does he perform a beautiful service but he knows how to calm you and keep everything light. Everyone commented how lovely our service was and he gave tips (i.e. Centering in photos, angling hands, length of the kiss) to help with photos. I recommend him to anyone planning a wedding here. What a great guy.

  It was an absolute delight to have Reverend Steve Torrence officiate my daughter's wedding. He made every effort to make the ceremony warm, fun and beautiful. He worked his magic at making this a day to remember for my daughter and her husband. I highly recommend Reverend Torrence for someone who is looking for that special charm that is Key West.

He really made our wedding ceremony special and tailored especially for us.   Steve is AMAZING! I am so happy he was there for our wedding day. He was so nice, so easy to work with, and made us feel so comfortable! My husband and I kept crying and he was able to calm us down and let us enjoy the moment. :) You can really tell he loves what he does. Thank you so much for making our day so amazing!

  We had chosen Steve as our officiant for our destination wedding based on a high recommendation from our wedding venue and it was absolutely the best decision we made. We didn't meet Steve until the week of our wedding and after meeting we felt as if we had known him longer, he was so kindhearted, comforting and assuring. He performed a beautiful ceremony and many of our guests complimented on his officiating. We would highly recommend Steve to anyone getting married in the Keys! He is hands down the absolute BEST!

  What a wonderful man! We had a destination wedding in Key West so we only met Rev. Torrence for the first time @ the rehearsal . He made us feel so comfortable & we felt we had known him forever. He was very professional and very warm & caring & funny!! We are grateful & happy to have had Rev. Torrence perform our ceremony.

  Reverend Steve Torrence has been officiating weddings in KW for over 25 years and even my family agreed it was as if he was a long time member of our family by the time our rehearsal and ceremony were over! He wanted our ceremony to be exactly as we wanted it to be and met with us while we visited KW in September and was always available via email or phone to discuss any questions or concerns that we had. We certainly did not feel as if a stranger was marrying us on our special day and this was a concern of ours when we chose a destination wedding. We would highly recommend Rev. Steve to others!

  How is it possible that Rev. Steve only has one review on here? He's super to work with. Upon meeting him, you instantly feel like he's been your Reverend for your whole life. His ceremonies are great, he's willing to work with you as much or little as possible based on what you'd like your day to be about. He's incredibly calming which is key when you're freaking out in front of your family and close friends Two things from our special day come to mind: 1) a Fury booze cruise playing Dave Matthews went by in the middle of our ceremony. Steve handled the situation calmly and professionally, pausing the ceremony briefly to allow the sweet sounds of DMB pass us by before we continued. 2) Technically, this is after the big day but whatever. We're a same-sex couple so we didn't technically have the right to get married in Fla but wanted to anyway. Steve, being the incredibly kind-hearted man that he is, took the fee that he charged us and donated it to Equality Florida! How awesome is that?!? Literally one of the kindest things anyone has done for us. Hopefully one day, other couples like us will be free to marry legally anywhere in the US.
