  Best DJ all around!

  I decided on hiring Rhode Entertainment. So very glad I did! I got a good deal compared to others. Andrew was really knowledgeable and knew how to get people jumping! Telling my friends about him?

  Wonderful service

  Getting Rhodey entertainment to dj my event was the best decision I made. Definitely made the party and having good music while having run is the best combination. Definitely consider them if you’re in need of a Wedding DJ!!

  Highly Recommend!

  They were very professional and experienced. We were very happy with the services they provided. They went above and beyond to help make the day special. Communication is key for such a big event and they were there whenever we needed them. We had last minute changes and they handled it like pros. Highly recommend!

  Mixed music set- Executed perfectly!

  DJ Andrew and Rhodey Entertainment were amazing! We had a small wedding of around 80 in a lovely venue, Station No. 2, and he rocked the place out. DJ Andrew was very detailed oriented and we gave him a list of songs and he delivered an amazing set featuring Spanish music, cumbia, salsa, rig atone, and top 40 hits and throw back favorites. It was perfect! The guests had a great time and the music set the tone. I can not stay enough good things about DJ Andrew and Rhodey Entertainment. Thank you for making our wedding magical.

  A Gem with Great Taste

  First and foremost, I want to say that I definitely recommend him as your DJ. You will feel heard and will receive professional care. We spoke about my expectation, he had thorough paperwork with things I hadn’t even considered, and he understood what I meant when I told him that I did not need a hype man. My husband and I gave him a list of song that were a must and he curated a playlist that friends are still asking about based on that.

  Amazing DJ

  Andrew was amazing from start to finish. We had over thirty people in our wedding party to coordinate. He handled our indecisive, last minute, chaos, all the way up to the last minute. We didn't have time to do everything we had planned bc there were so many components. But everything came together seamlessly. Andrew is great at communicating and he is reasonably priced for everything he does. He listens and has great suggestions when you don't know exactly what to do. Everyone had so much fun. I recommend Rhodey Entertainment for any event and over and over again.

  Simply amazing!

  Andrew was amazing to work with! He was very professional and he definitely cares about his clients. So many of our wedding guests talked about how much fun the reception was. The dance floor was never empty!! He did an awesome job at reading the room if guests were not feeling the song. My husband and I will definitely recommend him to our family and friends for future events.

  Terrible experience

  BEWARE brides and grooms. We hired Andrew to DJ our wedding in Newport News, Virginia, and he did not show up! Instead, he notified me 18 minutes after he was contracted to begin playing music for my wedding that he sent a random replacement WITHOUT our consent or any prior notification. We were never offered the opportunity to discuss this or request our money back since Andrew would not be rendering the service. The DJ he sent (Tyquan) told my husband and I that he had only been a DJ for 6-months and was still working on his “crowd engagement skills.” Imagine how disastrous this went over in the services (or lack thereof) rendered. He played the wrong music several times, introduced one of my special parent dances wrong (I had went over this in detail several times with Andrew), and left the DJ booth several times to ask for direction because he was poorly prepared. We had been communicating with Andrew for over a year about our wedding and he assured us that we would not run into any issues and that he would be there to DJ. We even trusted him and paid in full upfront prior to our wedding…BIG MISTAKE. I would not suggest submitting any monies in full upfront until he arrives at your event. Andrew made sure to follow up with me to check in on when he would receive his full payment, however, became unresponsive after getting our money and ultimately unavailable on our wedding day! Andrew’s lack of professionalism ruined the wedding/reception of my dreams and now I am stuck with regret and what-ifs about how my wedding could’ve gone had I not trusted him. We spent thousands of dollars on our big day only to have guests mention that playing music on our iPhone would have been better than hiring such poorly prepared (un)professionals. The worst part about it is that when we contacted Andrew, he told us that he “THOUGHT” he reached out to us to with notification but he never did because “the message didn’t send.” Imagine being a bride and getting this information 18-minutes after you thought your vendor had already began rendering services. When we spoke to him, he was very nonchalant and annoyed that we confronted him on breaching our agreed upon and signed contract. This was a heard lesson learned for us as a couple and after investing so much money into a day that we can never get back.
