Richard and Tara were WONDERFUL to work with. We felt so comfortable with them during the entire process. They were so kind, knowledgeable, creative, and very efficient. They knew exactly how to get the best photos. We had a lot of fun with them and they got along so well with the entire group. They made taking photos a fun part of the wedding day, as opposed to it being stressful. I would highly recommend them for any event, they are an absolute must!! -

We originally hired Richard & Tara before the pandemic and we finally tied the knot in July 2023, so we’ve known them for about 4 years now. We absolutely made the right decision hiring them. Richard & Tara were an absolute a joy to work with. They clearly know their business inside and out. They know exactly where to be at what moment and they work as a well-practiced team together to capture the best shots. Also, their cameras are whisper-quiet – I never once the whole day noticed the shutter sounds, which I think put me more at ease throughout the day instead of being reminded that every moment was being documented, and resulted in better photos! I first encountered Richard and Tara when they photographed my friends wedding. Their professionalism and quality of work were equally as impressive then as it was for our wedding. When we had the opportunity to work with them personally for our engagement shoot, we knew we had made the right choice. They are both so fun to work with, it feels like you have two friends behind the camera instead of two complete strangers. Their guidance and instructions on how to pose helped out so much, since we are both so awkward when in front of a camera - they made us feel like models and knew they would capture our best sides. We cannot recommend Richard and Tara enough! They were hands down our absolute favorite wedding vendor! During our wedding day, there were a few minor mishaps, including transportation issues and one of our groomsman splitting his pants! Richard and Tara were not only incredibly flexible and easygoing, but they provided a needle and thread to sew the pants! We absolutely love every single photograph taken by Richard and Tara! If you're looking for a photographer team that's easy to work with, responsive, puts you at ease, and takes AMAZING pictures, then Richard and Tara are your people! -

Richard and Tara are such a great team! They did my sister's wedding and mine. And they made sure every shot was perfect! I wasn't feeling well on the actual wedding day, and the pictures still came out flawlessly! And the turnaround was less than a week! If I were to do it all again, I wouldn't think twice before hiring them! They do not disappoint! -

We received all paper work promptly and great reminders about the upcoming event. On our wedding day, Richard was flexible, professional, engaging and easy to work with. We had a link to a blog including some highlights from our wedding on their site eight days later and all pictures 10 days after our wedding. The pictures are beautiful and Richard really captured everything we asked for. I highly recommend Richard and Tara! -

From the engagement session to my Grooms Gift boudoir session to the actual wedding, Richard and Tara were always available to answer any questions we had. Tara came to the boudoir session and helped me feel a little more at ease 'bearing it all' and offered great posing suggestions. They were both laid back but extremely professional and even got the always dreaded extended family photos done quickly and with little hassle. They offered numerous packages to fit anyones budget and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! -

I never felt like I had a photographer in my face the whole night. I truly felt that I had my friends with me. They are extremely talented, and get shots that you normally wouldn't think of. I can't stop looking at my wedding pictures. And that means so much, since they are all that you have after your special day is over in the blink of an eye. I highly reccomend using this husband and wife duo. -

My husband, our families, and I could not recommend Richard and Tara more highly. We had an amazing experience working with them for our wedding. Richard and Tara were communicative, helpful, and professional. Starting with our engagement shoot, they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The photos for the engagement shoot and the wedding turned out PERFECTLY, and we received both galleries earlier than we ever could have hoped. One of the unexpected perks of working with Richard and Tara was their general wedding expertise--they talked us through the decisions of whether or not to do a first look, which family photo combinations to do, you name it! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Richard & Tara!
We are SO happy that we hired Richard and Tara for our April 2022 wedding. They were so easy to work with and communicated well throughout the planning process, engagement photo shoot, and wedding day. Very professional and fun to work with. They took so many beautiful photos that we will cherish for years to come. We were also so impressed by how quickly they got the photos to us -- only a couple weeks after the wedding. Wow, where to start. There aren't enough words to describe how AMAZING this duo is! We are so lucky and thankful to have had Richard and Tara capture our special day! They made the happiest day of our lives even happier than we could have ever imagined. Their knowledge of having poses look so natural, the lighting, and creativity, is absolutely incredible.
