  Rick and his team are very creative and innovative. They go above and beyond what you think any photographer would do for you and are very kind. Rick helped pin on the flowers and helped us during our cake cutting! He also gave us awesome ideas before, during, and after our wedding. He was there for us every step of the way.

  We were very happy our photos taken by Claire Britt at Rick Aguilar Studios. Claire's laid back nature made her easy to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. She also made sure she took all of the extra photos I had requested. I found the studio itself to be very responsive and helpful in working with our wants. We got our save the dates through them, which were great quality and reasonable in price. We also used the photo booth service which ran smoothly.

  Simply stated, THE BEST. As an artist, Rick's work was breathtaking. His assistants in the office were wonderful in their communication and good taste and execution of Rick's work. If you are lucky enough to work with Rick and Bo, and have Eliisa to manage, enjoy! You are in for a wonderful experience.

  Chicago-based wedding photographer Rick Aguilar and his team are extremely talented golden hearted photographers! On my wedding day, Rick and his two photographer assistants smiled, directed, laughed and snapped photos of EVERY moment of our wedding day with kindness and professionalism! They are extremely educated on the latest photographic style trends, equipment, special effects, and they always know their way around a venue for the best possible angles. Rick is a very popular photographer and has great relationships with many wedding planners, venues, makeup/hair artists and caterers. Being able to see him coordinate and associate so well with all of our vendors and our planner made for a fool-proof, perfect wedding day! We love Rick!

  Clare and her assistant were phenomenal! Forgive me, I can't remember her assistant's name right now but he was terrific!! They were so easy to work with and this is really important because your photographers will be with you all day, so they have to be people that you like. I never met Clare before the wedding, we only spoke on the phone and via email but she is a terrific person. She and her assistant had amazing ideas and they are true artists. I don't know how to explain it but if you watch Clare work, you can actually see her envisioning the photo before she takes it. She is a master!! She made every feel comfortable. She wasn't pushy or in the way. Her assistant would shoot pictures at these amazing angles and the two of them work so well together that you would think that they had been together their entire lives. I loved them so much! This is a big deal for me because I used a different photographer for my engagement photos and that guy was a disaster, so the wedding pictures were definitely on the top of my list and I was a little wary after being burned by that other photographer. Clare and her assistant were the best and I had such a great experience with them! Also, Clare took time out to call me a few times before the wedding to discuss the type of photos that I wanted and she even encouraged me to create a pinterest board with the wedding photography that I liked as inspiration. Clare listened to any concerns that I may have had and definitely put me at ease. She is easy going, professional and a true master at her craft!! Hiring Clare from Rick Aguilar studios was one of the best decisions that I made!! To all those brides out there, remember that the pictures are important because that is what you have left after the flowers have died and the cake is all gone...well the pictures and your husband ;)

  Rick and his team were the perfect choice for our wedding 8 years ago this week! They were incredible back then and I can only imagine how amazing they are now! I have a very large family (not easy to photograph 50+ people!) and they provided a comfortable atmosphere for all our guests and still managed to pull off a fab photo! We were so impressed with their incredible patience yet ability to get the job done with the authority needed to do so in a timely fashion. We LOVE our amazing coffee table style photo book! I get compliments all the time from our house guests-everyone loves reliving the day! We also have a fabulous black and white canvas tri panel group shot we purchased that is a main focal point in our house. It is beautiful! Cheers to Rick and his team for providing such wonderful services!

  I highly recommend Rick Aguilar Studios. I hired Rick for my wedding in August 2014. He and his colleagues were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Rick's photography is just beautiful! I was so pleased with the quality of the photography and the special touches provided by him and his team. So many of my friends commented our photos looked like they came out of a magazine. Rick is amazing with lighting. I love his work and would certainly hire him again.
