  Wish I could give 10 stars!

  We worked with Heather at the Ritz and could not have been happier. The only downside is that we don't get to spend time together anymore, now that the wedding is over. She was responsive and helpful with suggestions before the event and flawless on the day of. Thanks Heather!

  Amanda Belton and the Ritz Carlton Chicago did an amazing job at our wedding. She was the planner we worked with and she was so helpful and responsive. Anything we asked they took care of. The staff (all staff including maintenance) studied our pictures ahead of time and knew our names as we walked throughout the hotel the entire weekend! Their attention to detail beyond anything you could imagine was there. We wanted a specific room for photos which was booked and Amanda immediately contacted us the second it opened up.   The Ritz Carlton was remarkable. The staff was there for every need: picking up a spoon immediately after an hors enters the mouth to helping guests find their tables and MUCH more. The food was INCREDIBLE. It was fresh and elegantly presented. We had it French style, and they pulled it off without a hitch. The team was there for every demand throughout the entire planning process, and we are thrilled with this venue, caterer, and staff. We would recommend it to anybody.

  Our wedding reception at the Ritz Carlton was just beautiful. We had a small reception of 40 people. I didn't want dancing at the reception. The wedding coordinator suggested a harpist, and she was wonderful. We had a cocktail hour with passed appetizers and classical music playing in the background. Then we had a four course sit down dinner, and the harpist played. The food was excellent. The setting was beautiful. We were in the Buckingham Room. The room had access to bathrooms that no one else had access to, which was nice. Everything was very elegant. They also provided the wedding cake, and suggested the limo service we used. We planned our wedding in three weeks, and the Ritz wedding coordinator was extremely available to use and helpful. The only kind of weird part was that we had flowers delivered around noon. My Mom, Dad, sister and I were setting up the centerpieces and table favors while I had my veil on and we were all in a rush to get to the church. I think if we had asked in advance, the Ritz would have taken care of that too.
