  Easy planning during COVID

  My wife and I were planning our honeymoon ourselves for 2020, but with all of the COVID travel restrictions we were quickly overwhelmed trying to decide where we could go. We reached out to River Oaks Travel for help and are so glad we did! Kate helped us narrow down options that were open to US travelers, kept us updated on COVID testing, and made the whole process wayyy less stressful. We had a fantastic trip and would highly recommend Kate to anyone planning their own honeymoon!

  Working with River Oaks Travel was a breeze!

  Working with River Oaks Travel was a breeze! With just one meeting they were able to ask all the right questions and put together an itinerary for our Hawaiian honeymoon. They were very knowledgeable when it came to the hotels and were able to include extra perks (like spa credits!) for us throughout our trip. They also set up some awesome experiences for us – like a sunset boat ride with dinner – that made our trip great!

  Houston Wedding

  When I started planning my wedding I never considered calling a travel agent – we were holding it in our hometown after all – but when we ran into problems booking a hotel room block for out of town guests I asked River Oaks Travel for help! They were able to get us options for a couple of different hotels and negotiated a great contract with some extra perks. We wound up booking a block at the St. Regis Houston and our advisor handled all the details so that I didn’t have to think about it. River Oaks Travel was able to take some of the stress out of our big day and made the experience pleasant and painless!

  Destination Wedding

  I always knew that I wanted destination wedding with just close friends and family instead of a big event, but I never realized how many moving parts are involved in the planning! I quickly got overwhelmed and my fiancé suggested that I reach out to a travel agency for help so I called River Oaks Travel. They were so helpful and streamlined the process for me so that planning our wedding became fun again. They handled everything from organizing the contract with the hotel, to flights for people from all over the US and transportation for 60 guests throughout the trip. They also acted as a main point of contact for all the guests so that I wasn’t constantly answering questions about the hotel, flights etc. On top of all of this, they were able to arrange for upgraded rooms for myself and my fiancé before the wedding and arranged for a gorgeous congratulations snack and bottle of wine to be in our honeymoon suite after the reception! We would never have made it through planning this wedding without River Oaks Travel and we’ll definitely be using them for our personal travel in the future!
