Elena was fantastic with answering all our questions and concerns. Day of the event she guided us through the timeline to help keep us on track. The food and service were excellent as well (kudos to the chef and his staff). We highly recommend River Place Country Club!!

This one was a no brainer for us! First of all, the view is gorgeous! We had a cocktail hour on the sky deck before our dinner reception and all of the guests raved about the view. We decided on the "Taste of Italy" and the meal was delicious! It was an exceptional value for the dishes included and we thoroughly enjoyed each aspect. The room includes the linens and the settings and we just had to add a few small touches to dress it up. It was elegant and very able to accommodate our group. The best part of having your wedding at River Place has to be Justin Brace! Justin was our wedding coordinator and he truly made the experience for us. He thought of everything and was very responsive to our needs. We had a few last minute changes and Justin was positive and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend River Place Country Club for any of your special event needs.

From our very first meeting Amber Groce was professional, attentive and dedicated to making sure we had what we wanted for our wedding reception. She checked in with me along the way and offered her assistance when needed. The night of our reception, she took charge and we didn't need to worry about a thing! We have received so many compliments from attendees about how wonderful the food was as well as the ambiance being beautiful. To say that we are satisfied customers is an understatement!! Thank you Amber and River Place for making our special day fabulous!

Amber was our day of coordinator for our wedding at river place country club. I cannot describe how amazing and helpful she was! Prior to the wedding she was a great and happy contact the entire time she responded to emails promptly and accurately. She was very kind and happy each time we met with her and helped us to stay excited instead of overwhelmed! But her real time to shine was the rehearsal and wedding day! We had a huge wedding party and I have a huge family, but Amber had no problem organizing this at rehearsal. Day of the wedding she was like an angel sent to us from God! :) pulling bobby pins out of her own hair for me, still smiling and so happy for us (even while she was gracefully handling 500 things!) she keep the entire wedding on schedule but was relaxed and joyful about it, helping us to stay that way as well. We talked about it after and not sure how she managed this but she ensure both our parents, Miles, and I always had a drink or whatever we needed! :) she even made sure to pack us a recess cupcake in the limo because she remembered that was our favorite! I cannot stress enough how grateful I am that Amber was our day of coordinator! Our photographers weren't as ready to handle our huge party and family so having a happy, calm coordinator there made all the difference!

Anddddd our loved ones were raving about how gorgeous river place is!

This place is phenomenal. Amber, the Catering Director, helped us plan our event. I had several questions during the entire process, and she was more than willing to answer my questions - customer service at its finest. The view of the golf course is absolutely stunning, and the food was great. Everyone at our party was raving about the venue. I highly recommend River Place Country Club for your next event.

I had my wife's 40th birthday party here. They did an excellent job. Amber was a great event Cordinator. They were even able to accommodate special food preferences. They had many staff on hand to make sure that everything went smoothly.

River Place went above and beyond to make our reception exactly what we had in mind. It's a beautiful venue with an amazing view and the entire staff was more than accommodating. All of our guests loved the food and had nothing but great things to say about our reception. We couldn't have picked a better place!

We had our wedding reception at Riverplace and the entire staff were so helpful from beginning to end! The bride and groom even got to eat lunch! (how often does that happen, right?) The event coordinator, Amber, was very responsive to our requests, and so helpful to me as I was planning the wedding from out of town. She was also present from early in the morning for setup until everything was packed up. I am so grateful for all the folks at Riverplace that helped to make our special day run so smoothly. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have an event of up to 250 ppl. We got some fantastic pictures around the property and will remember it fondly. Thank you, Riverplace!

I recently got married 1/18/14 at River Place Country Club and had the upmost amazing wedding you could ever dream of. My day was so wonderful and I owe it all to Rachael the amazing wedding planner at River Place. She went above and beyond working with me during the entire process leading up to my big event. Rachael even called all my vendors the week of the wedding and touched base with them and answered any questions they might have. The day of the wedding she guided me through the evening and kept me on track of what we were doing next which was very important to me. My guest had a wonderful time and complimented the venue. Everything turned out beautiful! Our wedding ceremony took place on the sky deck overlooking the breath taking golf course, the setting was gorgeous. It was a bright and sunny day and the weather was perfect, which I was surprised being in mid-January. We took some amazing pictures around the venue inside and out with our wedding party and family, while our guest enjoyed a cocktail party and visited. Our reception was awesome as well. We chose the Italian buffet and the food was very tasty and delicious. I also like the fact they had a dance floor so we danced all night and just had an overall good experience. The entire wait staff and bartender was very professional and accommodating and they made sure everyone was taken care of. I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to have my wedding at River Place and I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a venue.

Wow! I cannot say enough about this venue & their staff! I couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to host our wedding reception. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the food is AMAZING, and the staff is beyond accommodating & professional. Our venue coordinator, Rachael Roumaya, was the highlight of the whole experience. From the first day we met, I felt like we were best friends brainstorming & bouncing ideas off of each other! She is extremely talented and has an abundance of creative suggestions and ideas! She worked with all of our vendors to make sure the night went off without a hitch. I recommend this venue for any bride. The night was magical and absolutely perfect!

The River Place Country Club was the most amazing venue for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. The club was recently remodeled and rivals all country clubs in the Austin area. The views were breathtaking, the food was delicious and the service by the wait staff was extraordinary. The absolute best part is the wedding coordinator, Rachael Roumaya. She handled every detail of our reception from top to bottom. Her commitment to everything being perfect really allowed us to relax and have a stress free evening. Not only did she completely coordinate all the vendors involved she did extra things like decorated the bathrooms and put our specialized decal on the dance floor. She went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only thing on her schedule. We look forward to years of both a professional and personal relationship with her and the River place country club.

The River Place was the perfect place to have our reception! The views from the venue are beautiful, not to mention the staff was 5 star.

Rachael (the wedding coordinator) was perfection. She is one of the friendliest, warmest souls I have ever met. She went out of her way to help wherever possible and ensure that we had everything we needed.

The catering staff was impeccable, everyone raved about how amazing the food was. All of the staff catered to my husband and I during the reception and made sure that we were completely taken care of.

Over all, they exceeded my expectations 100% and I HIGHLY recommend any bride to have their special day here!

River Place Country Club was awesome! She was professional, extremely accommodating and overall fabulous to work with - especially the actual evening of the event. Rachael and her team paid close attention to all my little requested details and executed the evening's timeline wonderfully, leaving me to worry about nothing. And being an Event Coordinator myself, it's pretty hard for me to relax while at an event. They were flexible while keeping it super fun. My friends keep telling me it was the best party they've ever attended! I keep wishing we could go back and live it over and over again - it was a true blast!!

Amber helped make our wedding day stress free and wonderful. She has great ideas and goes out of her way to make your wedding day special. My mom was able to relax and have fun on our wedding knowing Amber was taking care of every last detail. She exceeded my expectations for sure! River Place has spectacular views and a reception area that is perfect for small or large receptions.

We had such a beautiful wedding reception at river place! Amber was such a huge help and really took the time to get what our style and our vision for our wedding was, and made everything run so smoothly on the day for us! We wish we could relive the day all over again.. It was perfect!! ❤️

The catering directors were extremely helpful and responsive. The room was a perfect size for my event (60 minors, 55 adults).

Our daughters wedding was held here at River Place Country Club Austin TX on October 5th 2018 We booked this Venue at the Austin Bridal Expo TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! I THE YEAR OF BOOKING with this Venue they went though 3 Catering director/wedding specialists and we were NEVER INFORMED,Very unprofessional Finally after finding out we now had a THIRD catering director/wedding specialist who CLEARLY doesn't know what she is doing and never had up to date information in front of her when we did talk with her so we had to hire an Event Coordinator to come In and take over and Thank Goodness we did or our daughters wedding day would have been a Total disaster this place does NOT DELIVER what they promise BE CAREFUL I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS VENUE there is a total Breakdown in communication with ALL of the staff TWO DAYS before the wedding at the rehearsal they tried to tell us that we wouldn't be able to have the ceremony on the golf course so after a year of planning TWO DAYS before the Wedding your going to tell us we CAN'T have our ceremony o the golf course WHAT A TOTAL JOKE THIS PLACE IS!!!
