  Stephanie and Emily are amazing and so easy to work with at River Pointe. I met with Stephanie multiple times and contacting her by email was easy and she was very responsive. We had the pleasure of being Emily’s first wedding at River Pointe Country Club and she did amazing! I can’t wait to see all the amazing weddings ahead that she will be apart of and she will make sure you are stress free and she is there if you need anything. We felt well taken care of and the day was pretty much stress free (as much as it could be lol). Many compliments on the food being great and service was perfect. An amazing place to have your ceremony and reception all in one. Easy, stress free, and simply beautiful. Everyone on staff was amazing. Thank you River Pointe!

  Wonderful experience... I loved the look of hall.

  I really loved having my reception there. Staff was sweet and super flexible during the uncertain 2020 pandemic change in guidelines.

  They made everything easy

  My wedding was planned on a whim in only about 3-4 months time and I needed flexibility because my husband is in the Air Force and we didn’t have an exact day that he’d be home. They planned almost everything for me and did all the decorations so that I was stress free. The hall was absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, there were plenty of places to take pictures, and the service was overall excellent! Many of my guests told me afterwards that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I would highly recommend riverpointe to anyone planning a wedding.

  I’m a event planner and event designer in the Gary/Merrillville In area. We installed chair covers and sashes at the venue on July 14, 2018 for a wedding. And the room was stunning! Even before the installation took place the room was so warm and inviting. Stephanie who is the events coordinator for the venue was phenomenal! Her and her staff. I would highly recommend having your wedding/reception here. The views of the grounds are breathtaking to say the least. Give them a call and tell’em Jackie sent from Jackie’s Elegant Event Decor!

  I feel like this is an often overlooked reception site, but I'm not sure why! The room is beautiful with a rounded blue ceiling and decorative lights. There is a beautiful view of the golf course behind the head table. They can arrange the room any way you like. On top of that, the food is exceptional. I've never been to a wedding that has had food that good so I'm glad I was able to provide such a good feast at my own wedding. Kay is very helpful and answered all of my questions. I also felt it was a great value. A lot of other places we looked at were much more expensive, but I felt like this place was much more affordable while at the same time providing great service. The only slight drawback is that it's part of a country club, so you can expect to see a few non-wedding people occasionally walking by in the hall, but that doesn't even compare to all the other great assets this place has going for it so it's not really a huge deal.
