    Vanessa was a gem everything came out better than planned. Lots of added touches through out our experiences including vegan dishes for our vegetarian guests. We also got additional lights from the dj because of our theme. I was absolutely pleased with everything.

    We had a traditional small wedding with mostly family and children. Our requests ranged from traditional bbq food to Caribbean appetizers and signature cocktails. Service presentation was impressive. Definitely recommend their services thanks a bunch

    We were recommended by another bride to this company and even though they did not have availability for a tasting we decided to go on our friends recommendation and the great reviews they had. We are more then satisfied that we did. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was incredible. It was a great fit for us since we were on a budget and would recommend them to anyone who loves great food and great service. BTW they are a one stop shop so can help you with everything. Thank you so much for all your help and advise.

    Food was delicious! Staff was very sweet and professional. All the rentals were clean and I loved the DJ. They were always available for questions. Thanks great job!

    Our food was excellent and we had an extraordinary experience from day one with their attention to detail. I had so many questions that were answered and all suggestions made sense which eased the stress. I didn't need a planner since they handled the catering rentals and all. Truly remarkable is all I can say. They made my wedding day incredible.

    Vanessa was with me from beginning to end. Super sweet and attentive. Outstanding buffet and taste. Everything was dreamy!

    Absolutely loved this company! Not like most companies in Miami they always got back to me right away. They're great to work with and their food was absolutely delicious.

    Rivera event services, unfortunately, was less than adequate at my wedding. While Rivera provided delicious food, a talented, professional DJ, seats and napkins, a lack of attention to detail created many disappointments. For example, even though I called (on my wedding day) to remind the day planner to make sure my guests each got a program, they were never handed out. (I worked really hard on them too, having the wedding party's names written out for everyone was super important to me--I'm not sure when I'll get over this--especially because I called her at noon!!). The day planner did not follow through on basic day planner duties. She was not present at the rehearsal. She arrived on the day of the wedding at noon, regardless of the fact that we paid her 900 for day of planning services and had verbally confirmed she would be there at 8 or 9. My bridesmaids laid out the table place cards themselves. The bubbles which we personalized were never dispersed to the guests. Essentially, the programs and bubble thingies were not only never given out, but also a waste of my own money and labor. We had to provide our own basic bar supplies which were taken by the bartenders who were an hour late! Rivera also did not let us know that they would not be bringing anything other than ice and bartenders for the bar services we paid for until the week of the wedding. We only learned this because luckily my husband asked. I had to run around last minute buying mass amounts of cocktail napkins, bowls for garnishes and stirrers a few days before the wedding. String lighting which had been promised was suddenly "not available" on the week of the wedding, forcing us to scramble last minute for lights. Additionally, the tables, dirty dishes, chairs etc were left at the venue (a family home) for almost three days. Not a pretty site nor is it good for the grass. In conclusion, particularly on the day of the wedding, I was really disappointed by some major mistakes.

    Whackiddy Whack Whack

    I’ll start by saying we were referred by a friend who did say some nice things about this company, so we felt confident in choosing them. That confidence was sorely misplaced. Vanessa and her team arrived at least 30 minutes late, pushing back our day of schedule even further by sluggishing setting up our tables/chairs. Then refused to assist in setting down our ready-made center pieces because they were not contracted to assist. Generally I’d say this is okay, a contract is a contract except for two things one- they never contacted like we had scheduled to go over day of plans closer to the date (we had months before) and the staff was WATCHING my best man/bridesman do it in lieu of helping. My wife and I needed to ask to be served dinner and our sweetheart table was served after 2/3 of our guests. The food was cold which could have been forgivable if it had not also been nothing like it was presented to us when we selected it and had it not been rubbery/completely quagulated by the time it arrived. Maybe a quarter of our guests were provided with champagne (we went home with CASES of it) before our toasts that started 30 minutes into dinner. Bartenders (a service provided by our caterer) told our guests we were out of you name it : vodka whiskey soda less than an hour into our reception. Again we brought CASES home which were in close proximity to the bar. I credit them with going to get ice when we needed it which was helpful but was then sent a 200$ invoice for it later, laughable. The staff insulted my grandmother outloud in Spanish in a room full of people from miami -we all speak Spanish. They did not serve our cake to people after it was cut. The staff was outside on a smoke break when they should have been breaking down tables which causes tear down to run late and the venue threatened our security deposit as a result. One staff member from this company stayed to break down tables but that’s per this vendors report because the venue coordinator and her team from the Curtiss mansion broke them down themselves to help pick up the slack left by this company. Do better for yourself than this organization, they were more hinderance than help. (Our wedding was wonderful in EVERY OTHER WAY)

    I just want to tell everybody, that my experience was the worst. First at all it is so difficult to get ahold of Vanessa, that could have just avoided pretty much everything.

    The animals not only got late to the party, but it was the wrong animal show that we requested. They started thw show late, and left right at the time they were supposed to finish.It took us another 10 minutes so they can figure out what to do and making calls to see what was happening, again I was trying to reach Vanessa and she was nowere to be found.Then the second part of the package, obviously was not only as well a little late as well. Anthony, the entertainer is a great guy, but the show was late as well. I expressed my unhappiness to Anthony and he even told me that he was going to talk to someone to make sure we straighten everything up.

    The cotton candy machine was part of the package and If don't call Vanessa to tell her this she woulnd't have mention it. All she tells... sorry the machine broke yesterday.

    I really want to express my complete dissapointment with the service and more exactly to the owner. She has no accountability, no customer service skills, and more importantly no common sense.

    This is the first time I write a review of something, but in my case I had to do it, because it was just terrible.

    For future references, don't pay with cash like I did, pay with a credit card, so in case you are not happy with the service you can dispute the transaction.

    I don't recomend this to anyone.
