The Best Place for Unstoppable Love
Not everyone will step up when you need it most, but we now know the Riversbend Restaurant in the Essex Marina is the place to be. Amid the Covid pandemic when all other options were exhausted, Lindsay, the current owner, opened her heart and arms to host our wedding today that turned out better than we could have ever asked for. Still abiding by all health guidelines, we managed to create a memorable moment not to be forgotten.
The views around the river, smell of the ocean, and hidden cove for our personal ceremony overflowed with true Massachusetts treasure. And the marina near by provided a unique photo opportunity you will not find anywhere else.
A special thanks, again, must go out to Lindsay who personally worked above and beyond to make this moment of ours simple but precious. Witnessing her ambition and ability to adapt to ensure our day during such a unique time, makes us wonder just how great of an event she and her team could make for you.

My fiance and I will be getting married at Riversbend in September. We have been working closely with Lindsay to organize our special day. She has been so amazing!! Flexible, and full of inspiring ideas! Riversbend is the perfect location for any couple seeking to find a hidden gem in the Northshore for ceremony and reception, even a rehearsal dinner! It has an unbeatable backdrop of the Essex River, which is beautiful any time of year. The rustic, simple indoors of the venue in unbeatable too! We are so excited for this Fall! -

Picturesque on the River
Riversbend was everything we had hoped it would be when we first visited on a cold and raw day in January. The ceremony on the knoll and cocktail hour on the deck overlooking the river on a perfect September day was truly amazing. All of our months of planning were managed to perfection by Lindsay and her staff. She worked with all our concepts and ideas and made them happen. If you are looking for a place that is quaint and by the water this is the place for you. -

If you are planning your wedding I can’t recommend Riversbend enough !!! This past weekend I had my wedding there and it was amazing. Lindsay and her staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect for our special day. All my guests loved the food and had a wonderful time. The views of the river are breath taking! Lindsay was great with communicating with me on all details leading up the wedding. We plan to visit frequently as Riversbend will always hold a special place in our heart!! -
