Planners like Family
Where to begin...I love the Roan girls! From the minute we booked with them to the end of our wedding night, they were a joy to work with! Every vision and hope I had for my day came to life through the dedication, care and hard work of Roan wedding and events. Sure you can plan a wedding by yourself but I loved having their professional expertise to help my vision come to life. They were helpful through the many face to face visits where we talked hours at a coffee shop to unlimited phone calls and texts! As far as working with the guests and wedding party, they had a timeline and plan for every minute of our event. Everyone loved them and thought they did an amazing job. I am truly sad that the planning of my event is over, that is how much I enjoyed working with them! They are affordable, reliable and personable and because of this I highly recommend them to any bride planning a wedding! -

Kelly & Danielle made the impossible happen! They completely & beautifully decorated the barn at Claxton Farm in less than two hours.
Back story... Claxton had another wedding the day before ours and would not allow anyone into the venue until 2pm Sunday, which was exactly two hours before our reception was scheduled to start (at 4pm.) Side note: a powerful spring storm rolled through the day of our wedding, so Kelly and Danielle also had to deal with extreme wind and sideways downpours while they were transporting truckloads of our decor inside the barn. Let's just say it was all far from ideal.
Kelly also had to be at the chapel, which was 15 mins away from Claxton, to direct our wedding procession, which started at 3pm, and clean up the chapel decorations after the ceremony. I really don't know how she pulled it all off without showing any stress, but she did. She is a rock, and I'm so glad that I have the privilege of calling her my friend.
We also planned our wedding in 3 short months. It started small and snowballed into a large wedding. Kelly was so helpful and easy to work with. I never wanted a large wedding, so it wasn't easy going from basically an elopement to a guest list of over 300 people. I'm a control freak and a detail person. I knew exactly what I wanted once the guest list exploded, and she allowed me to do as much as I wanted to with the planning, but she also knew when to take the reins so I didn't have too much on my shoulders.
I knew what I wanted our wedding to look like, but I couldn't find any pics on Pinterest that matched exactly what was in my head, and somehow Kelly was able to know exactly what I wanted when I tried to explain each little detail to her. It couldn't have been any more beautiful in the end.
The ladies at Roan Events treat every wedding like it is their own. To say they care about their clients is an understatement. They care about the entire wedding party, the guests, the vendors, and anyone else involved in the planning. I can't imagine our big day without them. -

I am an event vendor and love working events that Roan Events has planned! Kelly is highly organized, which helps make everything run smoothly. I would recommend Roan to anyone seeking to add quality and efficiency as well as style to their event. -

Marian Sent on 07/04/2018Roan was a dream come true! We planned a large wedding long distance but she made me feel like everything was manageable the whole time. I wanted to be highly involved in the planning yet wanted someone to oversee the execution of the big day. She understood my vision and gave just the right amount of assistance I was looking for without being patronizing or unimaginative. As soon as we met her we knew we were in great hands. She was calm and upbeat, always prepared and eager to trouble shoot any issue that came up. On the wedding day Kelly and Summer worked seamlessly with our party to get all the details together without breaking a sweat. They saved many things from going wrong, but they did it so well I couldn't tell you how many issues they fixed that day. It would not have been the same without them!
