My fiance and I both agreed that having a great photographer was one of the most important things to us. We quickly realized Rob O'Neal was who we had to have for our special day! We loved his journalistic approach to photography. The pictures were very natural which we really appreciated. We didn't want a bunch of posed photos with everyone just smiling and looking at the camera. The fact that he is a photojournalist and not just a wedding photographer, we felt would bring a different perspective and creativity to his pictures.

When I reached out to him, Rob let me know that he was recovering from an accident and did not want to promise that...

We didn't want a bunch of posed photos with everyone just smiling and looking at the camera. The fact that he is a photojournalist and not just a wedding photographer, we felt would bring a different perspective and creativity to his pictures.

When I reached out to him, Rob let me know that he was recovering from an accident and did not want to promise that he'd be ready in time for our wedding. I told him that I'd check in with him in about a month or two to see how his recovery was going and if there was still a possibility that he might photograph our wedding. In my mind, there was NO ONE else that we wanted! A couple of months later he gave is a YES and let us know he would bring a photographer friend to help him cover the wedding because he still had some limited mobility. We were ecstatic!

Throughout the entire process, Rob was very easy to communicate with. On two occasions he made an impromptu trip to meet us out while we were in Key West prepping stuff for the wedding. The best way to describe him is he's someone you want to go hang out and grab a beer with. He showed genuine interest in us as a couple and our families and their story. On our wedding day he and his friend were on it! He was there from beginning to end. We had a torrential downpour during our outdoor and he was right there getting some great shots of the whole thing. He even stayed longer than he was supposed to just to make sure he got everything we wanted. The pictures were just BEAUTIFUL and everything we knew we could expect from Rob. We don't just consider him our wedding photographer but our friend and we really appreciate him as a person and artist. We highly recommend him to everyone!

Rob was to do our wedding but was unable to (at no fault of his own) after a terrible auto accident. He kept in touch thru every step. He replaced himself with one of his own mentors which scared us at first but was a blessing as the photos were great. Rob also found time to give us a free 2 hour casual shoot on the Island before the wedding to make up for the "trouble"...Rob it was no trouble at all both you and Rick did fabulous jobs both with the photos as well as with your customer service. I don't even know where to begin --- My husband and I live in Denver, CO and wanted to take our immediate family to Key West, FL for our wedding celebration. Although I had 5 months to plan, I still had a really hard time finding a good photographer.....until Rob! We emailed back and forth several times, and once we got to Key West (2 days before the wedding), Rob made time to meet me, my husband, and my parents so that we could get acquainted before the actual day. He covered everything we needed to know and immediately felt comfortable with him - it's like he was part of the family! Every moment of the wedding day was...

Every moment of the wedding day was captured and he even went out on a limb at a certain property in order to get us fun, creative pictures! And the final suprise: because it rained on our wedding day, he offered to meet us the next night to take a sunset photo if we were willing to get dressed up again :). Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate the entire 4 days we were there, but I really appreciated his offer! Thanks again for being a part of our day Rob- We will definitely look you up the next time we are there!

Rob was awesome. He doens't take himself too seriously as some other photogs in the same line of work. We just wanted someone to take great pictures and give us a disk so that we could put together our own books. He did just that and his pictures were AMAZING!!!! He captured the laughter and tears. He was awesome!

Upon researching all photographers that would create a wonderful and unforgetable experience, I picked Rob. His work on the web was exactly what I pictured for my idea of the right. Not only did we find him extremely talented, fun and different, someone that was extremely original and unique. We truly feel a person that is extremely humble regardless of his great talent. Truly one of the best photographers we've ever seen. We truly love our pics Rob! And we look forward to working with him again!!

Rob not only met our expectations, he exceeded them in EVERY way. He was professional and on time, but better than that, he was FUN! He got "us" and our personalities right away. I saw him getting photos during the wedding that I knew would be memories for the rest of our life’s.

Rob not only took amazing shots, he OFFERED (and anyone dealing with wedding vendors will realize this is amazing) to stay longer than the previously agreed time.

What makes me want to recommend Rob has less to do with how professional, talented, fun, thoughtful he was, and how he works his tail off. But, has more to do with how he was able to bring out exactly how we were feeling that day in the photos. It was natural, and I didn't feel like we were doing the cliché wedding posed photos.

Rob is a fantastic photographer, a good guy, and a vendor you should work with if you want amazing memories of your special day.

We were recently married in Key West, and hoped to find an amazing photographer. When we started searching, our first thought was that we would simply hire the best possible person we could afford. When we found Rob's website, we knew he was the one we wanted, as his portfolio speaks for itself. His expert use of lighting and keen eye for the amazing shot was so far beyond any other photographer that we were able to find, it made the decision easy. When we found out that his prices were also amazing, we knew he was not only the best photographer we could find, but also the best value. How do you beat that combination?

We were recently married in Key West, and hoped to find an amazing photographer. When we started searching, our first thought was that we would simply hire the best possible person we could afford. When we found out that his prices were also amazing, we knew he was not only the best photographer we could find, but also the best value. How do you beat that combination?

When Rob came out to shoot our wedding, he was there exactly when he said he would be, and worked harder than all our other vendors combined. And his hard work was even more obvious when he produced literally three times as many quality, "keeper" images than he had promised. Mind you, he produced the final cut of images in what would have been an impressive turn-around time, had there only been a third as many. I really can't say enough good things about Rob. He is an amazing photographer, a consummate professional, a man who does exactly what he says he will (if not much more), and an awesome guy to boot.

In summary, you couldn't pick a better photographer than Rob O'Neal. And when you find out that you can afford him, you're gonna be as excited as we were. You put so much trust into the one person who is going to be responsible for capturing this once in a lifetime event, and for us, that decision was huge. If you pick Rob, you'll be very glad you did.

After checking out Rob's portfolio online, I knew he'd be a great fit for our destination wedding and were so excited that he was available. Rob was the perfect mix of relaxed, personal, and very professional. We had some last minute (stressful!!) changes to our wedding time and location. Rob's calm demeanor and confident decisiveness to come up with an alternative plan on the spot was very much appreciated. And the results were amazing! We couldn't have asked for better pictures. His eye for detail captured the emotion of our wedding and our personalities.

My daughter got married in Key west and we live in Arizona. Picking a photographer was a shot in the dark for us. From the first communication with Rob I felt as If we had picked the right person. When the special day came I was convinced that Rob was the one! He worked from the second he got to the resort till the second he left even staying and extra hour at no cost.
I watched him take great candid photos of everything and everyone. One look at the pictures he took and I was completely satisfied with Rob and his work!
Want the best? Use Rob O'neal you will NOT be disappointed!!!
I would reccomend him any time.

Fortunately, the down payment was minimal so what was the risk?!
We went with our daughter and her future-husband to meet Rob in Starbucks, two days before the big day, not really sure what to expect; laid back, yes, it was Key West, afterall. Rob was easy-going with energy-a nice combination in the most humid place I've ever visited in my life! He had his camera with him and after introductions, he put us at ease when we realized that whatever we wanted was what he wanted. He was very flexible about times and assured us he would be where and when he was needed and had some suggestions about locations and backdrops.
Rob came to St. Paul's Episcopal Church an hour before the service to get pictures of the bride and her family and entourage and then on to snap pix of the groom's family and entourage. During the service and reception he was completely unobtrusive and it wasn't until we looked at the pictures online that we realized he had taken so many pictures.
Rob suggested Holly and Drew have some pictures made outside at Mallory Square and I have to say these are my favorite. The pictures just pop because the backdrop is so original with such a traditional bride and groom. I can tell that Holly and Drew were relaxed and their happiness and love shine in the photos. I really believe these pictures should be in a magazine!
If I can talk my son into marrying his girlfriend of 10 years in Key West, Rob WILL be the photographer!
