    Andrew and I found Robert of Robert Michael films as we were perusing countless videos on Vimeo in search of a videographer for our wedding day. We landed on one of his wedding films that gave me goosebumps and left us both speechless. After seeing that film, we closed our browser and hoped that our search for our videographer was over. And it was…

    Fast forward to our wedding day…

    Robert and his assistant, Evan, were so prompt, focused, and professional throughout the entire day. They were so discreet, and we forgot that they were nearby throughout the whole day until we saw our highlight wedding film. Although we enjoyed every minute of it, we were not able to pick up every detail that we had incorporated into our day. Robert of Robert Michael Films captured every moment - including the details - so perfectly.

    After our wedding, we were waiting with so much anticipation to see the final film. Robert sent us a teaser while he was still editing the entire highlight film, which only heightened our excitement.

    When we finally received the highlight film, we were completely blown away! The beauty of the film brought us both to tears as we watched it for the first time. Thanks to Robert, we will be able to relive this day for a lifetime.

    Best videographer ever! Robert and his partner were true professionals throughout the entire wedding. We were already big fans of his previous work from his website. Once we saw the final product for our wedding we were amazed! It is truly amazing how he put all the moments from our ceremony, photo-shoot and reception in to an awesome highlight real.     Working with Robert was the best experience we could have hoped for. From our first interview at a local Starbucks, to our Love Story video on Balboa Island, through the big day at Walnut Grove in Moorpark, we had complete confidence in Robert's vision and skill, and we were consistently blown away by the videos he produced. Every conversation was a pleasure, and we and our families are so in love with the videos he created, which we will cherish forever. We recommend Robert Michael Films with highest confidence.

    One of the best vendor choices we made for our wedding was Robert for videographer. We wanted emotive footage, but didn’t want an over-the-top weepy, “Disney film” with sappy music. Our wedding was on April 1st, so of course we played the pranksters a bit and wanted our video to also capture the joy and silliness we shared with our friends and family. We looked at so many demo reels on-line, received quotes from several videographers and only met with Robert. We really loved his work. The only other vendor we were considering meeting with had a great price tag (including drone footage) but was insistent on his winning formula/package and wouldn’t budge at all in terms of tweaking some of the deliverables. This other vendor also wouldn’t meet us half way; we would have had to drive 50 miles to meet him in person. Robert was anything but, very flexible and friendly. He met half way between us (about 20 miles). He listened to our vision of the day, the footage we were hoping to capture (including a modified “Love Story” interview on the wedding day). He incorporated what he could on our wedding day and was very clear and up front about what would be difficult to capture. Robert really went above-and-beyond in delivering all the footage and finished product, including some formatting issues with my computer reading the files. This guy is a reliable professional but also a great artist. I don’t know how you could go wrong with Robert.

    What Robert created with our wedding video, in just under two months, should be submitted for an award to a short film festival. I could very well be biased because it was my wedding video, but I am probably the most harsh critic when it comes to film. what is incredible, aside from the shots and the editing, is the tone and voice he used. He was able to capture every moment throughout the weekend with a lens that only a true auteur could accomplish. If you want a wedding videographer that just gets the night then get someone else. If you want a wedding videographer that can give you the purity, the essence, and the moments of the night, then Robert Michael Films is your best choice. From cost to equipment to hours to deliverables, Robert is by far better than anyone out there. Trust me, I went through close to 50 wedding videos on Vimeo and made calls to 10 wedding videographers.

    Robert, thank you is an understatement for what you have given my wife, my family, my friends, and my future children.

    We can't believe the quality of our wedding video that Robert so skillfully captured. We found Robert by luck. We had two ceremonies, one East Indian and one American, in one day!!! Not only did Robert and his team capture both of the ceremonies and reception, the video we saw was so emotional and beautiful that all our friends and family fell in love with it! The videos help us relive the great moments of our wedding day. We had a beautiful location but it started raining that day. Even then the lighting was amazing, the editing was on point and the drone capture provided the breathtaking ariel view of the location. We couldn't be happier with the end products. We highly recommend Robert and his team. Thank you, Robert Michael Films!!!

    OMG... Our wedding video was so amazing! It was seriously the best money we spent. It was so wonderful watching it back, seeing all of our family and friends having such a great time. We would highly recommend Robert if you are looking to have somebody film your wedding. Everybody that watched it comments on "How it was like watching a movie."

    Robert and his services provided more than what we can ask for. He was easy to work with and responded to our emails promptly. Additionally, he provided raw footage of our reception at our request at no additional cost. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a creative and experienced videographer. He made our wedding a wonderful and memorable experience.

    Robert not only created a beautiful wedding video, but he worked right along side our photographer making the entire experience so amazing! After the wedding he never complained about the hundreds of emails I sent him asking to change the littlest things in our video. If I didn't like the way I looked in a scene or preferred a different scene in its place he would immediately make all those changes. He worked with me until my video was exactly how I wanted it, down to the very last second!

    We are extremely happy with 1. Deciding to hire a videographer for our wedding and 2. Hiring Robert to be that videographer. From start to finish, Robert was professional, accommodating and extremely patient. After watching the video, both my husband and I got a feeling that he's a true artist at what he does. Perfect is not enough of a word to describe his work! He listens to what a couple wants and he ensures to capture that exact style. He was very communicative, friendly and just a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone without a doubt!!! Thank you so much Robert for your amazing work!

    We were on the fence about having video for our wedding and honestly it was the best decision we made. We were blown away by how beautifully everything was captured. Robert and his team were fantastic to work with!

    This is an overdue review for my wedding from this past March. If I could give Robert six stars, I would! Robert was one of our best vendors at the wedding. He was able to work within my budget and was very prompt with the communication. On the wedding day, he went above and beyond with every aspect -- he made sure to film my wedding from start to finish and he arrived much earlier and left later than what we expected. The results were creative, yet flawless, and he was able to achieve the "crisp" look I had envisioned perfectly! I've heard that many videographers take over six months to complete the final videos, but Robert was able to complete the videos much faster than that. Another reason why he was great was because he was able to work well with the photographer to not overlap each other and shoot other things that weren't part of my photos.

    Our parents were overjoyed to see the final DVD's that he created, and we could not be happier with the results!

    Finally, Robert has a great personality and I knew instantly after meeting with him that I wanted him as our videographer for our big day. I am so happy with our decision to go with Robert, and I definitely recommend everyone to go with him as well!

    As the groom there was very little left for me to plan as my wife had it on lockdown. Video was the exception. After searching the web for awhile and comparing different videos we went with Robert and were so happy that we did. We loved the style of his work and the price was a good value for what we got. Robert and his crew were great to work with. It was fun seeing all the video of the girls getting ready, taking photos and moments of our family enjoying the wedding that I missed. My wife loved the emotion and how the music was timed so perfectly with film. I loved all the fun bits with our friends dancing, etc. I would highly recommend Robert Michael Films to any couple getting married and in need of a great videographer.

    Rob from Robert Michael Films was amazing! He made me and the wedding party feel comfortable and actually enjoy that we were being filmed. He is so down to earth and makes you feel like your a friend not just a client. The day of the wedding he was very professional, easy going and responsive to our requests that we had discussed during our meeting. When I saw the final product my husband and I cried. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Rob captured everything and put it into a beautifully crafted short film. We also added on the Ceremony and Toasts to the DVD and it was great to hear all the funny toast given by our friends and family. We weren’t originally going to spend the money on a videographer but I am so glad we did… worth every penny. If you are unsure, remember that after all the effort and planning of the wedding all you have to remember it is your photos and video. Not only do you miss the audio by only getting photos but we were surprised by all the things included in the video that we didn’t even know were happening while we were busy posing for photos. Best money we spent for our wedding!

    What an awesome video! Having a videographer was very important to us and we spent a lot of time researching different vendors. What else do you have to remember the day besides your photos and they can’t really tell the whole story without hearing the toasts or ceremony. We began watching the films on their Vimeo page and were hooked. They truly told the story of the couple in a very special and personal way. Every film evoked emotion without even knowing the couple. Beyond the amazing talent they have for putting a film together, they are great to have at the wedding. They were invisible when they needed to be and personable and funny when appropriate. They were extremely professional on our wedding day and when we received our wedding film weeks later it brought us to tears. I have received so many compliments and inquires about them and know that they will be filming so many of our friends weddings. They were 100% worth the investment and I am so happy we have such amazing documentation of our special day to watch for years to come. Working with them was wonderful! They are prompt, friendly and do AMAZING work. We could not have asked for better and we're so happy they were there to capture our wedding day. They really went above and beyond and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer.

    I am so happy that we chose Robert Michael Films to document our day! Robert was so much fun to have around on what was a stressful day. He made the booking/planning process easy and got us to actually relax a little during the photoshoot with our photographer and enjoy the day. Himself and the other videographer were professional, prompt and so extremely talented! They worked great as a team splitting up to get coverage of different events happening at the same time such as our photoshoot with the bridal party and the cocktail hour. One would get footage during the first dance or toasts for example while the other got some great footage of our parents watching or people laughing during the toasts. They really capture all the little special moments that you don’t realize are happening while you are there and turn it into a piece of art. The quality of their work surpasses any expectation I had. My Husband and I literally have watched our highlight reel over 20 times wondering aloud “is that really us?!” Hiring them was the best decision we made and was worth every penny.

    These guys were great! We worked with both Rob and Aron who are tremendously talented, efficient, and responsive. They exceeded our expectations - both in the way they shot footage at the rehearsal dinner & the wedding - and in the end product that they produced. I had a last minute request for a quick turn around on the highlight video and they were very responsive and got it done - AND they produced amazing work!

    As my cousin's wedding coordinator, I knew from our first meeting with Robert that the wedding video was going to be spectacular. He did not disappoint. Robert captured every special moment and pieced them together in the most perfect way. The film depicts every bit of the joy and love that the happy couple, our family, and friends experienced that day. Robert truly has a gift. My cousin and her husband, as well as our entire family, are thrilled that he was the one to capture such a special occasion.
