  Best decision we made!

  Hiring Maria and Ricky for our wedding was the BEST decision we made! They are the kindest, most considerate people on the planet, and they went above and beyond throughout the entire wedding process—and are still doing so today! They were extremely accommodating of some last-minute timing changes, and delivered even more gorgeous photographs than we had expected. We recently lost our beloved father of the groom, and Maria and Ricky generously offered to send us the raw video file so that we could have his entire speech as a cherished memory. Every photograph and video they've sent has been of the highest quality, and their enthusiastic energy and generous hearts have made them the stars of our wedding experience. Do yourself a favor and hire them!!!!

  Creatively capturing every detail of our special day!

  We are beyond grateful for Maria and Ricardo! From the very first conversation to post wedding conversations, they have been incredible. Their energy and emotion help guide you through the day and show through their work. From our engagement shoot to our entire wedding day they were professional, accommodating, creative, and overall a pleasure to work with. They are an incredible team with a great eye for detail. Our wedding photos are everything we could have dreamed of and more and I have no doubt our video will be the same! We are so thankful to have worked with them and cannot recommend them enough!!

  AMAZING. Best decision in the entire planning process.

  Captured Group is an absolute dream. They are so pleasant, professional, and charming. We found them on Zola, searching for someone with a style we liked and we looked no further. Maria and Ricky are so cool, they genuinely felt like guests we had invited and we not only enjoyed their photography but their presence at our wedding was comforting and fun. They cover every question or need you could possibly have, if you think it, they thought of it! Our photos are amazing and heartfelt, I will cherish them forever. You will do yourself a favor by putting your wedding photography in their capable and creative hands.

  The best of the best! A must for every wedding!

  This review is massively long overdue (we got married 5/20/2022), but I absolutely have to write one. Maria and Ricky are hands down the BEST people and we could not have been luckier to have the pleasure of them capturing our wedding! They got exactly the vibes we wanted, all the shots we wanted, were so easy to communicate with, and are just the nicest and most fun people! We did our engagement shoot with them in NYC and the photos could not have been any better. We communicated the types of shots we were looking for and, since they were living there, they were able to give us the best tips for location and shots! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined. We got the best posed shots and the absolute best candid shots. We barely even realized the were photographing/taking video of us which we loved, but we also just loved their presence. They were so much fun and added to the party, they were dancing while shooting and made everyone so happy and comfortable. Our guests still talk to us about them and how awesome they are! Our video is breathtaking, we are taken back to the day every time we watching and it always brings us to tears. The photos are incredible; we constantly look through our photos and love displaying them in our home to look at all the time. We have since referred several people to them because we would love everyone to have the same experience we had!

  Maria did such an amazing job taking care of our day for us! Our pictures are better than we ever imagined. We are so pleased with her work.   I am OBSESSED with our photos (both wedding & portrait shoot). I found Maria online through another couple that had been married at our venue. I loved the editorial and romantic style. I was a little hesitant because I love a good first-hand recommendation but couldn’t compare his photos to any other wedding photographer. During our initial conversation it was easy and flowed. She knew our venue (which could have tricky lighting) and got our vision. During our portrait shoot he was able to get to know my husband and I and we were able to get to know him. She made us both super comfortable in front of the camera. When we received our portrait session photos we were blown away..making us so excited for the capturing of the big day!   Working with maria as our photographer for our October wedding was incredible! From the very first inquiry and throughout the whole planning process she was prompt with answering emails and such a pleasure to work with! Our wedding was captured perfectly in every single way. We have had so many people tell us how amazing our pictures are.
  
  We were first attracted to Captured Group Photography because of the candid photos instead of regular wedding portraits and we got so many amazing ones!

  Maria and Ricardo are simply amazing photographers, and great people too! You can see from the constant stream of Sneak Peaks on their page how many couples they work with and yet they provide a completely personalised service and you never once feel like you’re just another wedding. They seem to really enjoy what they do and completely throw themselves into making sure they capture every moment in a stress-free fun way. And the results are just fantastic, we love every one of our photos and so do all of our guests. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

My wife and I had a blast going off on the beach and throughout our hotel on our photo shoot! they quickly got to know us and catered photos to who we are.   Brock and I just wanted to say a massive thankyou for being so amazing yesterday. We had the most perfect wedding day and everyone commented on how fantastic you were and could not believe how many photos you were able to take. Thanks for keeping us focused to ensure we got some good shots. I still cant believe my new brother in law burnt a hole in my veil but I suppose a wedding is not a wedding without a little bit of drama!! We cant wait to see the photos and will contact you in the new year once we have returned from our honeymoon. Thanks again for making our day so special.

  We can't say enough good things about them

  Maria takes such incredibly natural and candid photos. She is attentive to your vision, responsive, and super kind. Above all, she was just really fun to work with. We first met Maria at my older sister's wedding in Vermont, so when the time came for my husband and I to say ‘I do' we immediately knew Captured Group Photography would have to capture our day.

  Buenos profesionales

  There was only ONE vendor we HAD TO HAVE for our wedding…and that was for our photographer(s) to be Maria and Ricardo. I had followed them on Instagram for a few years and I reached out immediately when we got engaged. We met up to see if we were a fit and we’ve never looked back. They even took our engagement photos, which turned out stunning, as expected.
  They were so patient and understanding when we were forced to postpone and change venues multiple times due to COVID. When our wedding day was finally approaching, I was worried that it would feel awkward because it had been YEARSSSS since we had booked them. I was wrong. We picked up right where we left off. They were such a breath of fresh air and positivity during such a stressful time. They were so much more than our photographers. They protected us from family stress, the went to the store the night before and BOUGHT white roses to fill in a not-yet-bloomed rose arch for first look photos, breathed life into us when we thought we were too exhausted for sunset photos off-property (those photos….I HAVE NO WORDS for how stunning they turned out!), and more. Our sneak peeks were breathtaking, and our full album was beyond belief. We probably look through at least a couple of times a week. Having Maria and Ricardo document our love and the best day of our lives was truly the best investment we’ve ever made.
  
  Further, their love and respect for EACH OTHER is what makes them truly special. It radiates off them and is so apparent in their work. It’s infectious!!! We plan to force them to be friends with us forever.

  I seriously can't recommend Captured Group Photography enough! This husband and wife duo, Maria & Ricardo, are the kindest people ever. I found them through Instagram and the moment I came across their page, I knew I HAD to have them as our wedding photographers. These two are very talented people and know how to capture the beautiful emotions that come with a wedding! They made the planning process completely stress-free, checked up on us often (since we were planning during COVID), and were very accommodating throughout the entire planning period. When it came to our wedding day, Maria and Ricardo were extremely professional and managed to capture every moment! Their attention to detail was impeccable. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, even when it was 100 degrees outside!!! Such troopers. Our entire family was blown away by them because everywhere you looked, Maria and Ricardo were there capturing the moment. When my husband and I got our photo album, we were overcome with emotion with how beautiful the photos were! I had literal tears in my eyes because looking through the photos they took brought back all the emotions I was feeling in the moment. We can't thank Maria and Ricardo enough for being our wedding photographers. We are so grateful to have these amazing photos and will cherish them forever. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, even when it was 100 degrees outside!!! Such troopers. Our entire family was blown away by them because everywhere you looked, Maria and Ricardo were there capturing the moment. When my husband and I got our photo album, we were overcome with emotion with how beautiful the photos were! I had literal tears in my eyes because looking through the photos they took brought back all the emotions I was feeling in the moment. We can't thank Maria and Ricardo enough for being our wedding photographers. We are so grateful to have these amazing photos and will cherish them forever.   Stupendous

  The moment my husband and I started planning our wedding I knew one of the pieces that was most important to me with the photos. Growing up and periodically look at my parents wedding photos and I felt it was so important that the photographer captured our day so that those that couldn’t be there could look back on it in the future along with ourselves. . Maria and Ricardo were a joy to work with from the start. We took our engagement photos about a year before our wedding and although my husband started out the session extremely nervous by the end it felt like we have been best friends with them for forever. They made our photos look so natural and gave us great guidance and cues throughout the process. We felt that they really thought about every part of the session. For example even before the session in the weeks leading up they provided us guidance on outfits and make up and made sure we really felt as comfortable as we could going into it. Maria and Ricardo helped us plan our wedding timetable and when the big day finally came myself and my bridesmaids end up running very late due to a slow make up artist. Instead of freaking out or putting pressure on any of us Maria made sure we knew that it was all going to work out and coordinated with Ricardo to get everything done and the best new time table possible. Maria and Ricardo perfectly captured a Wedding day and we are in love with our wedding photos. The entire experience has been so great that one of my bridesmaids actually decided to work with them as well based on her experience with them at my wedding. Looking back on our big day of course there are things here and there that I would do differently. But I would pick Captured Group photography to do my day 100 times over. Not only are they the best for photographers but they’re the best people and I am so thankful for our entire experience with them.
