    Unbelievable!

    Usually a company tells you all the great things they can do for you and when you hire them your disappointed because of excuses for their performance. NOT HERE! Every detail and all the things people don’t think about are covered meticulously. Gabby and Dave are true professionals and everything they promised they would do was done with unbelievable FUN and TIMING. We don’t do reviews but the EVENT went so smooth we wanted everyone’s day to be like OURS a Fairy tale come true. We can never thank Gabby and Dave enough. Friends for life!!!! 10 STARS!!!

    Best Wedding DJ

    Absolutely loved getting to work with Gabby and Dave! They made our wedding so much fun and listened to what we wanted as a couple, making that the priority, even when what we wanted was the dance from Napoleon Dynamite. They checked with us throughout the planning process, made last minute changes for us, laughed with us, jammed with us, and just made our day special and enjoyable (even when our tiny wedding had no one dancing)! Best wedding DJ we could have asked for!

    Such a fun time! Amazing!

    We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and experience. All of our guests enjoyed the music and festivities. Highly recommend to anyone looking for professionals and a good time!

    Party Starter

    Gabby did an amazing job DJing our wedding! She kept the party going the entire time and our friends loved all the music. She gave us helpful tips to keep everything running smoothly and sent helpful templates ahead of time to pick out all the important music cues. Thank you Gabby!

    So Happy We Went With Rock Bottom Entertainment!

    My husband and I decided on a DJ for our wedding this past May. Gabby and Dave were very easy going and flexible people to work with. We gave them our ideas on genres and how we wanted our wedding music to go. They greatly delivered and made our wedding very special and fun. Plus it was one less stress to worry about what music would be playing or would the music flow well. They took care of it all and executed it wonderfully. We had them for 5 hours on our wedding day and this doesn’t include set or take down time. I am very happy that we went with Rock Bottom Entertainment. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding.

    Teach me how to Dougie!

    Gabriella and David from day one had everything ready to go for us and they guided us through the whole process. On the night of our wedding we had to switch up spaces and they were so flexible. David and Gabby could see I was getting stressed and they knew exactly what to do to calm me down. They made sure to play all of the songs that were important to us and got my father in law out on the dance floor for his “dougie” moment! We couldn’t have asked for a better team to be with us on our wedding night!

    The most amazing DJ’s

    We truly cannot say enough great things about Gabby and Dave. These two amazing souls truly made our reception better than we could have imagined. Everything was perfect from introductions to song choices and making sure the party kept going. They are not just vendors to us we now consider them apart of the family. If you are looking for a DJ for any event 10/10 you should go with them or you will regret it we promise that!

    Excellent service!

    Rock Bottom was able to handle all of our requests from basic needs to unique desires. They were flexible to what we wanted and creative in their results. Highly recommend them!!

    Amazing caring people made my wedding a blast

    Such sweet people felt as if family was dj for us! They were super upbeat, interacted with the family, even danced with my mother! Had a wonderful time with them!

    They Made the party!

    I knew going into my reception that my main goal was going to be great music and a killer dance party. And Gabby and Dave really made it happen!!!! They got all my requests from me in a timely manner, noted any and all changes, had the timeline down pat, and played all my favorite groovy tunes. They intuitively added a few surprises and then let me make my favorite requests at the end to fill it all in. I will never forget this night or this dynamic duo!!! Shayla, my coordinator suggested them to me and they all worked so great together. Cannot thank them enough for all the memories of my loved ones and family having such a happy time together. They even brought the lights and everything, sat up a day early. I spoke with them several times before the wedding which was so nice of them to talk it through with me. Thanks RockBottom : )

    The Browns

    30 characters isn’t even close to enough. They’re phenomenal. Gabby & Dave took a night to remember from a moment to a lifelong memory. They made us laugh & joined in as part of the family. Then partied the house down with us until it was time to go. Not only professionals , but they bring an element of joy and pure love for what they do along with it. You won’t find quality like them elsewhere.

    Garden Wedding

    Rock bottom (specifically Gabriella) was amazing at coordinating our music throughout the night. I loved listening to the music I picked during cocktail hour while taking bridal photos. The DJ was very professional and friendly with us and guests. We added on love music during the ceremony and it was a perfect touch (they found a great local artist at a great price). I wish we knew ahead of time to choose more of the music for the event (like specific songs) as I thought the DJ could take the general genres and make playlists out of them. Regardless, everything was played at the right moment and all of our guests complemented the music chosen.

    Unprofessional to say the least


    I want to start off by saying that I never intended to take this issue publicly and had only privately emailed Rock Bottom personally, but the way it was handled by Gabby is the reason I am making this review.

    I had only spoken to Gabby leading up to the event, so I was rather confused when a man showed up. It wasn't a big deal, it just wasn't communicated. It turns out it was Gabby's husband, Dave.

    During the ceremony, Dave was vaping. I of course didn't see as I was the last one to walk down the aisle, but a lot of our guests made sure to inform me later in the evening. It was rather disrespectful to us and even our own guests avoided smoking/vaping during this time.

    The reception was where things began getting messy. It started off fine, but it was very evident throughout the night that Dave was getting increasingly more intoxicated. Gabby claims that Dave only had one beer from our bar (apparently they have a "hospitality clause" that is extremely vague in their contract about being allowed access to our bar). I personally would have never booked them had I known they would be able to drink from our bar on the job as it is extremely unprofessional. We had several guests inform us that Dave had a cooler of alcohol with him although we did not see it ourselves. We had at least a couple dozen guests inform us that the DJ was "wasted" throughout the night and it was extremely embarrassing.

    He also proceeded to vape the entire night under the Pavillion (a strict no smoking area) and our guests were being told not to vape there while he was doing it the entire evening.

    Guests were requesting songs and said he was slurring words and had a strong smell of alcohol on his breath. He would often not play songs that were requested or play strange versions (i.e. remixes, karaoke, instrumentals). At one point, so many of the bridesmaids spent so long trying to request a song that they finally asked the coordinator to have him play it.

    Songs would play for just a couple of seconds before he realized the version was incorrect or there would be 10-20 second gaps in between songs.

    The worst part was the announcements (or lack of). He stepped away from his setup often and it added to the chaos of things not getting announced. We were nearly done with our cake cutting when my God mother had to run over and tell him that he needed to make an announcement for it. Luckily we had two cakes to cut and the song started and announcement happened during our second cake cutting. We were supposed to do a candle lighting for our memorial table with a song being played which did not even happen and no one saw us light the candle. We did a sparkler faux exit and the coordinator informed him that we had our own lighters and the coordinators would light them for the guests and he started to announce to have everyone light them themselves if they have something to light them with. This ended in our coordinator making her own announcement for the sparklers because she needed to make sure people would get the correct information in order to not get hurt. There was never an announcement made about the last call of the bar. I am breastfeeding myself and was planning my drinks around my pumping and only had one drink the entire night because I had no clue what time it was, turned around, and the bar was closed. Our coordinator literally spent over half of her night telling him what to do and when, and it was still a mess.

    Gabby texted me within a few minutes of me sending the email, which I was very impressed by. She asked to have a conversation over the phone. I thought she was prepared to apologize and just say it wouldn't happen again, which was quite literally all we wanted. Instead, it was a lengthy conversation of her pinpointing every single thing I mentioned in the email and making excuses for her husband Dave.

    The excuse for the vaping was that they are unaware of the smoking policy. I believe the reception area is considered "indoors" to the venue in case Gabby posts the policy in response to this review as she did with one of our guests who left a review. She says there was no cooler of alcohol brought (which may have been true), but the bottom line was that he was very evidently intoxicated by the middle and end of the evening to the point where the coordinator cut him off from the bar. Although Gabby told me she can't take "hearsay" as confirmation, I would think that 20+ people were not incorrect about Dave's state of intoxication. Our drinks were "grab and go" type of set up with our vendor, so we cannot confirm whether or not he had some of those. Gabby claims that the lack of communication from the coordinator and our timeline being behind caused almost all of these issues we mentioned. She says they were having audio issues as well (which was never the issue, it was the fact that an announcement wasn't made to begin with). Another example excuse was that the song Lover by Taylor Swift was requested (one of the last songs) and apparently Dave took it upon himself to play the instrumental version to give us a "special moment". We all were very confused as to why that version was played and several people asked him to play the original and he even told a guest "this is the original". We ended up just all shouting the lyrics so that it was less awkward. Gabby also made a point to inform us that a "ton of Taylor Swift was requested". As Taylor Swift is my favorite artist and about 80% of the evening was just myself and the bridesmaids dancing, it makes a lot of sense that her music was requested so much. Because Dave was unable to read the crowd that was screaming Taylor Swift, he ended the night with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and everyone sat down out of confusion.

    At the end of the conversation, Gabby proceeded to pull the "I know you had a stressful day" and mentioned all of our other very minor vendor issues and seemed as though she was implying that we were taking it out on her. I would like to add that our coordinator's driver had a very urgent medical emergency and managed to coordinate from the hospital and sent people to help with setup while waiting for the driver's family to arrive. She still only showed up about an hour late and fixed every other minor issue that was encountered with professionalism and grace.

    We had initially made a complaint also about songs that we sent a playlist for not being played and not having the songs downloaded (our venue had limited wifi and zero service). Gabby states that we only sent 6 songs in for that playlist (there was supposed to be 11). We told her we take full responsibility on this if that's the case, but the rest of our issues still stand. She kept reverting the conversation back to this as it was the only place we mentioned where we may have made a mistake and she was holding it against us. During our conversation, my husband tried adding two of the missing songs to see if he would get the "already in playlist" notification and Gabby made sure to notate that she could see we were adding the songs and said that it was "disheartening" and made sure to inform us that she took a screenshot of when the songs were added, as if we care. As I said many times during our conversation and again are admitting our faults publicly right now; that could have been our fault, 100%. It would be nice if you did the same instead of make excuses.

    With all of this being said, I have worked weddings and have a Hospitality Management degree and I know that I would have lost any job I've ever had if I had spoken to a customer the way I was spoken to by Gabby. I will make sure to note that she did apologize as condescendingly as she possibly could.

    We appreciate your feedback and are committed to providing the highest level of service to all our clients. However, we believe it is necessary to publicly address and clarify several points raised in your review.

    It was communicated that Dave was your DJ as you can see in your contract with his signature.

    First and foremost, we take any claims of unprofessional behavior very seriously.

    Regarding the alcohol accusations, our DJ absolutely DID NOT bring a cooler or consume multiple alcoholic beverages during the event. The cooler you have mentioned belonged to one of your wedding guests that the DJ has described to us as follows: “A woman presumably in her mid to late 60’s, with short curly brunette hair, and wearing a navy-blue floral dress. The soft-side cooler was dark gray with a zipper top, and a black shoulder strap.” The wedding guest approached our DJ and asked if it would be okay if she could store the cooler next to his ceremony rig for the time being. She even mentioned to the DJ that it contained Guiness and that he was more than welcome to have one. Our DJ politely declined, because of course it would be asinine to drink alcohol during a wedding ceremony. Once the ceremony had concluded, the woman’s husband came and picked up the cooler and went on his way. We recommend you further communicate with your wedding guests regarding their belongings before making accusations that are unsubstantiated. Additionally, the venue owner herself brought the DJ his 2 pieces of equipment down from the ceremony site, neither of which was a cooler. Our contract clearly stipulates our policies, and we strictly follow them to ensure professionalism.

    As for the music and announcements, we strive to meet all client requests. Our records show that we followed the provided playlist and timeline to the best of our ability, given the limitations of the venue's Wi-Fi connectivity. Any gaps or transitions were managed as best as possible under the circumstances considering the event was over an hour behind schedule.

    Gabby’s conversation with you post event was intended to address your concerns comprehensively. While we apologize if our responses were perceived as condescending, our goal was to clarify misunderstandings and provide factual responses to your claims.

    We deeply value feedback and are always looking to improve our practices, our gear, and our service experience. We have previously apologized for any inconvenience you experienced,
    but we must also protect our reputation against unfounded claims as well as exaggerated complaints moving forward.
