    Garrett was amazing as our DJ. Very flexible with day of craziness! Great at reading the crowd on what type of music to play! Definitely worth every penny!

    Steamboat Winter Wedding

    DJ Garrett absolutely nailed it! His extensive preparation sheets had us at ease that we had a say in the music choices made throughout the day. Also the pre-wedding phone call nailed down all the final details, and we knew that we were in good hands. From the ceremony, to dinner, to the dance floor the music was spot on for the mood and our personal taste. While my husband and I had different requests, he was able to stream an entire night's worth of music seamlessly! Our Steamboat wedding was small (50), and the reception room was even smaller (a living room in a cabin), and he absolutely made it work. The energy made it feel like we had 100 guests all getting down on the dance floor. Thank you Garrett for making our big day so fun!!

    Garrett did a great job at our wedding! He was organized and helped figure out the timeline, but was flexible when on the day of it rained and the timeline got switched around! The music was great and he made sure to play all the ones we requested! Definitely would recommend!

    Everything we could of asked for. Garrett was very organized and worked with us to get our timeline organized and had suggestions on songs when we needed it. Would highly recommend Rock the Boat!

    Garrett was the best dj/mc we could have asked for! He was very organized and did a great job planning. The ceremony was perfect and at the reception the dance floor was never empty. We would recommend him to anyone!

    Garrett was easy and great to work with and really helped personalize our reception. My partner is a big fan of hip-hop so our DJ played hip-hop instrumentals during our dining hour and then he coordinated with our voice-over friend who announced us coming into the reception. He can make week-of adjustments as needed and is very easy to get ahold of.

    DJ Garrett played dinner music and then hosted a giant dance party at our wedding celebration at Thunderhead Lodge in Steamboat Springs. He had people on the dance floor the entire night, and everyone had a blast. Garrett was really easy and flexible to work with leading up to the event, and came up with the perfect mix of music that kept our crowd dancing. I would highly recommend him for any wedding or party that is looking for some dancing fun!

    Garrett was amazing to work with. We met twice before our wedding and had several e-mails back and forth. He was so open to anything we wanted played, and offered advice, suggestions and guidance. He was very precise on the timing of songs for the ceremony and made it perfect. At the reception he kept the party going and ended it exactly as we wanted. I would highly suggest using this amazing DJ for any of your events!!!

    We got married at Perry Mansfield in Steamboat, CO and Garrett was recommended to us by another vendor. Garrett was top notch from start to finish. He was extremely responsive early on and asked all the right questions to prep us for the big day. He was also very flexible as we added some music during the ceremony and he was able to accommodate on the fly.

    With regards to the big day, the music selection was great and it kept everyone on the dance floor all night. All in all, great guy and great DJ.

    Garrett is an amazing DJ! We hired him to do the music for our ceremony as well as all of the audio for the reception. He was responsive throughout the entire planning process and made sure to go over everything with us as many times as we needed. He was both receptive to our choices as well as offering suggestions based on experience.

    The wedding went off without a single hitch! We had so many guests that complimented our DJ and said what a fantastic job he did. We would highly recommend Garrett a thousand times over for any event.

    Rock the Boat was fantastic! Garrett is reliable, easy to work with, all around nice guy, and a talented DJ. He truly made the night one to remember. Our wedding guests can't stop talking about what a great time the had dancing. People who "don't normally dance" were out on the floor through the very last song. You can't go wrong with Rock the Boat.

    Garrett (DJ Gato Bueno) did a fantastic job as DJ for our Kids' Dance Party that was a library fundraiser. We had about 80 families (around 250 people) in attendance with kids ages baby to pre-teen in attendance. Garrett played a great selection of fun dance tunes for every age, from Frozen's "Let it Go" to Vanilla Ice's "Ice, Ice Baby". Garrett kindly accommodated all of our needs, playing kid friendly games, announcing raffle ticket winners, and commentating on our book character costume contest. He was energetic, really engaging with our young audience, and never even took a break for the full three hours.

    I received numerous comments from parents saying what a wonderful event it was and that we should hold a kids' dance party every month! In planning for the event, Garrett was timely, a great communicator, and brought all of his own state of the art equipment. To top it all off, he generously donated his DJ services to the library as part of the fundraising contribution. I would recommend his services to anyone, but especially to those who are looking to entertain a young audience. He has a real gift with kids.

    Gavin did an amazing job spinning tunes for a varied age group at our 7th Annual Halloween Bash...young and old enjoyed the dance floor!!

    Garrett was fantastic - the weather was supposed to be horrible and Garrett sent me an encouraging text telling me he was prepared to deal with bad weather and that everything would be great, he was right, it was the best day of my life!

    DJ Rock the Boat was very helpful and accommodating. He was also fun to work with when selecting music for our event. DJ RTB played just the right music all night!
