I couldn't believe the amount of effort Claire-Anne put into my wedding ceremony. She took all of the stress away and made sure I stayed calm during the process. She handled every little detail with professionalism. She is so sweet and will make your dream wedding come true because she simply loves what she does. Her team of vendors are equally amazing! They worked so hard and I couldn't thank them enough. My family had so much fun at my wedding ceremony. -

This was possibly the best experience we have ever had with a vendor and seeing as it was for our wedding day, that made it even better. They went above and beyond, were open to new ideas and perfectly managed the multiple personalities that featured in our wedding planning process. I had a wonderful experience with Rose of Sharon for my destination wedding in Bermuda. Claire-Anne, led an exceptional team to create my dream wedding. From the very beginning, Claire-Anne suggested different ideas and helped me envision what I wanted. I was nervous being in the US and not seeing anything beforehand, but she showed me the venue over Facetime and kept me updated with all the details. Claire-Anne was quick to answer emails and was always available for me and my mom. She helped worked with us with costs and when we told her our budget on each event, she adjusted the product and conformed it to what stayed in our limit. She addressed concerns I had and quickly offered solutions. She also booked vendors like DJ Donnie Durant, Velina Wheatley (henna), Traci (hair) and Serena (makeup) that were excellent and reliable.
Claire-Anne and her team handled an Indian destination wedding, which has tons of details and many parts, with ease. Her attention to detail, cooperativeness, knowledge and skill helped execute a perfect wedding. Her team and Ambiance Design Studios, led by Tamisha Greene, went above and beyond with my decorations and even surprised me by matching the Chinese lanterns for one of my events with my dress colors.
I want to thank the entire Rose of Sharon team: Claire-Anne Raynor, Veronica Douglas, Vernette Douglas, Cindy Smith, Maureen Clemendor, Monique Heyliger, and Cristin Raynor for their hard work and help during our wedding.
I wouldn't think twice in my decision to hire Rose of Sharon again. It was worth the expense and was such a huge relief that everything was handled well long distance. Thanks again Rose of Sharon for memories that will last a lifetime!

Michele Sent on 08/23/2013In November 2010, after returning from a 10 day cruise throughout the beautiful Caribbean and getting engaged on the cruise ship, we came home and began discussing what beach would be the beach we begin our dream on. After tossing around several ideas, we decided to get married in Bermuda. Although I had never been there, I heard such great things and thought it would be a great place to get married. So we began searching the internet and contacting multiple wedding planners. As we received responses, we continued to ask questions specific to our dream. Some of them would not respond unless we signed a contract, others continued to send us a generic form letters, and of course there we a few that did not respond at all. This does not apply to Claire-Anne of Rose of Sharon. From the very first email Claire -Anne has been personable, prompt, attentive, and professional. Her responses to our email were exactly what we were looking for; good, open communication. I will say having never been to Bermuda and being somewhat of a control freak, I was a bit nervous about how things were going go but Claire-Anne continued to maintain an open line of communication with us which began to put me at ease. In September 2011, we sailed down to Bermuda on the exact cruise we were planning on taking for our wedding to meet with Claire-Anne. We were extremely impressed with the amount of time and attention Claire-Anne provided to us. From that point forward , Claire-Anne was just wonderful! She continued to communicate with us and did everything she could to make sure our dream wedding followed our dreams! Two and a half years ago when we began planning, we never thought Claire -Anne would be the friend and confidant she has become! Although we encountered a few minor glitches, our wedding was a most beautiful day to remember and we couldn't have chosen a better person to plan our wedding!
Rose of Sharon truly has a gift to creating a beautiful event! -

User1076257 Sent on 01/23/2013I cannot even begin. I am the pickiest, most annoying person to work with. Maybe being a big law firm attorney on the east coast has something to do with that. I am extremly obsessive and vocal, but also did not know what I wanted. I contacted Rose and a few other planners in Bermuda as I am stateside. I found the other planners to be very pushy or unresponsive. Claire of Rose of Sharon was a godsend. She helped me search through every venue, providing me with pictures, and budget and tons of help, without even forcing me to pay up front for services. Her responsiveness, especially to a control freak like me, was amazing. Her professionalism and kindness really helped calm my frantic personality. She was wonderfully reliable and addressed every little email I shot off to her. I LOVE HER. I rarely recommend people, in fact, she is the first person I am writing a recommendation for in my entire life. That is how important my time is to me, but Claire is worth it. From the start we felt at ease. Very good communication and efficient. Shared great ideas in line to our vision for the ceremony and reception as well as helped us stay within our budget. On the day we felt everything went according to the plan and it was stress free for us. Extremely attentive from the beginning to the end.
