  Great selection. Can do family style, buffet, plated. Many options. Able to taste test prior to booking. Can do appetizers and late night snacks. Even cut our cake for us

  They are, hands down, the best venue in the area. My only complaint was that we taste tested our food a few months prior to the wedding and inbetween then and our wedding, the chef was let go. I felt that the chicken was not up to the standard that the meal we taste tested was. I would have liked to have the option of taste testing with the current cook. However, none of the guests noticed and everyone said the wedding was great. Reasonably priced venue for what you get.

  Overall, I feel that this is a great venue to hold a wedding reception. My and my husband's wedding reception turned out so beautiful. The venue was well-staffed, the management was open to many different meal and bar options, and staff members were prompt when it came to answering any questions or concerns I had. The gazebo and outdoor patio was so nice, and my guests loved that the hotel (Comfort Suites) was right across the parking lot from the venue. The only thing that caused some stress was I was not able to reserve enough rooms at the hotel for all of my guests. They only allowed me to reserve 15 rooms which was not nearly enough for the size of my wedding. I was pretty disappointed because we were spending a great deal of money to have our wedding on their premises, but it was explained to me that the 15 room block size is controlled by Choice Hotels, not this specific Comfort Suites. The hotel was very booked up as there were other events going on in the area that weekend. Because of this, the hotel room rates also went up which some of my guests complained about. However, I am very happy with how our wedding turned out overall. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

  Royal Ridges was a great central location with the ease of a hotel right next to the venue. They responded promptly. I was disappointed with the lack of negotiation. Also, my bridal party and family experienced many rude bartenders and servers at the reception. I didn't appreciate that since we have spend so much money at the venue and their attitudes were not appropriate, including the venue director. Also, drinks were very weak and didn't have much variety at the bar. Still a great location and value.
