We hired RS Wedding for our Tea Ceremony and Wedding Day. This was a no brainer decision. I have known Shane and Tyrone for years and seen their work. I didn't even bother looking for photographers because I knew I wanted to hired RS Wedding. They capture our big day not once but twice! Back to back weekends. I am so happy with our pictures!

As soon as I became engaged, I knew I wanted RS Weddings as my photographers. I have known Shane for a few years as he had previously photographed events for my sorority and was also the engagement and wedding photographer for a dear friend. So, I was familiar with his work and knew he would do an excellent job. He and his partner, Tyrone, did not disappoint. As people of color with a diverse group of family and friends of all hues, we wanted to ensure that our photographer could capture everyone in their best light. We also wanted more of a casual, photojournalism style for our photos rather than the more traditional wedding style photos. Shane and Tyrone absolutely delivered! They know how to light people of varying shades, capture emotion and expressions, and do so in a relaxed and fun manner. Plus, their work is creative, artistic, and truly excellent. They worked very well with the other vendors and everything was seamless.
Even though I knew and had previously worked with Shane, this was my first time working with Tyrone and my now husband’s first time meeting them. They took time to get to know and understand who we are as a couple, our families and friends, and our vision for our wedding photos. They were very responsive and so easy to work with. Their pricing structure was transparent and they were honest with us about which package worked best for our vision. They didn’t try to upsell us or give us things we didn’t want or need. They just provided us with the most beautiful wedding pictures we could have imagined and, for that, we are so grateful.
Simply stated, you won’t go wrong with RS Weddings as your photographers. They are excellent at what they do and they have a great time doing it! -

It was a no brainer for my husband and I to hire RSWeddings AKA "The Funtographers". It was the easiest vendor choice because I've worked with Shane and Tyrone before. They've become family! I told them once they started this business that they would shoot my wedding and after many many years it happened! They are prompt, professional, and extremely flexible! From engagement photos and planning out locations and attire to wedding day execution! Shane shot our engagement photos in April 2022 and made it extremely fun. My husband and I are not photogenetic at all and he made our bowling shoot fun!! Closer to the wedding, Shane and Tyrone met with my husband and I to go over important shots, the location, and were crucial in helping with my day of schedule. I'm not sure other photographers would help with such detail, but they did and I am forever grateful because our wedding started on time! On wedding day, they showed up early, met with my day of coordinator, and reminded me to relax! They were friendly and very welcoming to all the guests! They just fit right in! I knew what I was getting when I hired RS Weddings and they "Understood the Assignment!" We received our photos a few days ago and I felt like I was back at my wedding. They captured prep, details, the ceremony, reception, and formals. We have so many photos to choose from. If you are looking for reasonably priced, professional, and fun photographers that will make sure your wedding day is one to remember, I highly recommend RS Weddings! You will not go wrong! Thank you Shane and Tyrone for capturing one of the biggest moments in my life! -

I can't recommend Shane and Tyrone enough. A friend recommended them since the were photographers for her sisters wedding and they have been fantastic. Both for the engagement shoot and at the wedding they were fun, professional, committed, and just all around wonderful. Highly highly highly recommend them! -

First off, let me just say that both Shane and Tyrone are all-stars and truly live up to their nickname of the “Funtographers”! We had an October 2019 wedding weekend which was a two day affair across two different states. First was the Hindu Ceremony outside of DC in Potomac, MD. Neither Shane nor Tyrone had done a Hindu Ceremony before but they asked all the right questions and were able to capture absolutely stunning pictures for us.
They then travelled up to Philadelphia to shoot our second ceremony at the Penn Museum. Again, they had an uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time to capture all the most important moments for us. They made sure we got all group shots of families and friends we had envisioned. Many of our wedding guests commented on how fun, warm, and friendly Shane and Tyrone were throughout the weekend. Rather than leaving after the dancing got started, they stuck around and took pictures through the night, even joining us at the after party to continue snapping photos. The after party photos are truly some of our favorites and we would have never got them if we hadn’t selected such a professional and dedicated team of two.
RS Weddings made it all very easy for us, providing a simple questionnaire for the events and then talking through the timeline/important moments. We had a fantastic engagement shoot and used the photos from the shoot on our wedding website. All in all, we could not recommend RS Weddings more. If you’re looking for wedding photographers, you would be silly to pass up on RS Weddings given their professionalism, skill, dedication and passion for capturing all of the special moments.

Our experience with Tyrone & Shane was awesome! We booked them for our engagement and wedding photos and we were pleased with the results! From the beginning, Tyrone and Shane created a relaxed and fun environment, allowed us to be ourselves and captured every bit of it! Our wedding pictures were AMAZING! They’re attention to detail is so spot on! We can’t thank Tyrone and Shane enough! They are some cool dudes doing what they love and we love that!!! -

You will not find a more creative, flexible, FUN pair to work with anywhere! We booked for both our engagement and wedding. I had a broken wrist during the engagement shoot and instead of trying to hide or edit my cast out of the pictures...the had fun with it! I honestly cannot find a bad picture. Every one from candid to formal are gorgeous! If you dont at least consider their talent, you will miss out on a hidden gem. Working with Ty and Shane was a joy! -

Planning a Wedding 3 Weeks
We decided late... very late that we were going to have our wedding before the year ended, which was in 3 weeks. Out of all the vendors we had to get together for our special day, RS was the easiest to work with. love them and love my pictures! -

Lucious Sent on 09/08/2018If you're looking for a photographer that is professional, fun, easy to work with, and can make you look better on your special day than you could ever dream, choose RS Weddings. Shane was amazing. He met with us before the events and prepped us on exactly how everything was going to work so we knew what we were getting ourselves into, to include the flow of photography, setup options, and prices. On both the day of our invitation shoot and the the wedding day we had inclement weather and still everything went off without a hitch. One would not even be able to tell there was bad weather from our photos. Shane was very hands on with both the male and female side of the wedding pictures and helped to uplift the moral of the wedding tremendously. All in all RS Weddings captured our hearts and if available we'll be using the company for as many events as possible. Go check out our pictures on his website.

Denise Sent on 01/06/2018Tyron did an amazing job shooting out wedding. I am an armature photographer so I had extremely high expectations. I wanted to make sure that the right moments were captured. We had a tiny outdoor wedding with only our parents in attendance. Tyrone got wonderful candid and posed shots.

Crystal Sent on 12/06/2017My husband and I utilized Shane as part of a dynamic duo for our wedding at my alma mater. He was present and on time for the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. Coordination with the other photographer and videographer was unparalleled as no detection of either party was noted in videos or other pictures. The Wren Chapel has a balcony and he made great use of it for vantage shots. He even wanted to include a drone aerial shot but the school forbade it. Historic venue blah blah blah. During our first dance, my husband whispered "he's on the floor." As we were rotating, I looked down--yes he was on the floor shooting. And, guess what? That picture is one of our favorites. We enjoyed him on our wedding day and I'm sure you will too!
