The best Day with the best team!

Our day was absolutely perfect. The team at RD (Jess, Riley,& Heather) made sure my day was perfect. We had a minor issue with a vendor and they solved it! Our vision came to life. The guests are still obsessing over the phone, staff, and entire night. Their prices are so fair it’s almost unbelievable. There’s no need for an additional coordinator either - this team does it all. Heather was my fairy godmother all night. I cannot keep expressing how much I love RD and all of their staff!

A dream come true!

Running Deers team of amazing people truly made the entire process and day the most perfect day ever! Jess was amazing to work with throughout the process and answered all our questions while making us feel at ease! The day of coordinators were flawless and made the night truly amazing. The food and drinks were perfection! It’s 2 months later and I still have family members reaching out to me about how amazing the food was! The best day ever at running deer! 🖤 thank you a million times!!

Running Deer Wedding

Everything was amazing when working with Running Deer. All of the staff, from Kaitlyn to Jessica and everyone in between were super helpful. Always answering super promptly and willing to help as much as possible. We absolutely adored this venue. It's so reasonably priced and you get SO much with their packages. And not to mention the food was fantastic, and everyone raved about it and the portion size! It's nice to know you're definitely getting what you pay for. And even on our big day, everyone was super helpful and attentive and everyone had nothing but nice things to say.

Everything was amazing when working with Running Deer. All of the staff, from Kaitlyn to Jessica and everyone in between were super helpful. Always answering super promptly and willing to help as much as possible. We absolutely adored this venue. It's so reasonably priced and you get SO much with their packages. And not to mention the food was fantastic, and everyone raved about it and the portion size! It's nice to know you're definitely getting what you pay for. And even on our big day, everyone was super helpful and attentive and everyone had nothing but nice things to say.

The only complaint we had was about our decor placement and timeline flow. I'm very type A, so I took the time to make a binder for the venue that had detailed descriptions of where we wanted everything placed. Unfortunately, some of it was not placed how or where we wanted it. So a few times throughout the night, we had to address it (ie. the photobooth company realizing that the photobooth backdrop was for them to use, so we had to tell them they needed to use it - not sure if there was a lack of communication with that). We were also very ready to get the party going as soon as possible and we were informed after the fact that the DJ was told that they were told by the venue that they weren't allowed to get the music going yet and we're not entirely sure why. We had a pretty basic and easy timeline so it was frustrating when it wasn't flowing in the way that we had spoken about and planned. Some of it seemed like we were kind of doing things go with the flow which we didn't totally love. I know these little things probably sound ridiculous, but we put a lot of time and energy in strategically planning how we wanted things, so it was just kind of a let down to know that it was kind of a waste of time on our part.

Overall, I would recommend booking with Running Deer and I would do it all over again. They really were wonderful and helpful. And the venue itself is absolutely stunning and has so much potential for future brides!

10 stars all around!!!

Running Deer went above and beyond to ensure our day was PERFECT!!!

I highly recommend Heather DeRosa as your personal coordinator for the day! Heather ensured we were always fed and taken care of throughout the whole duration of our day/evening. She even was so kind enough to take care of our parents who aren’t as mobile, which meant so much to us.

Everyone raved about the food, the desserts, the bar, EVERYTHING. I could not recommend Running Deer enough!!!

Wedding day!

Running Deer is by far the most amazing venue ever! We are so happy with the hospitality ! Amazing amazing experience! If you’re having an upcoming wedding here do not stress they treat you like a queen! We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding here! Food is amazing , no need to worry about decorating they literally do everything! Jessica was amazing always one step ahead! Aubree made sure I always had a drink in my hand made sure both my husband and I had a water break in between photos! She even bustled my dress! Perfect place worth every penny !

Oh, she even almost threw herself in front of me so that Joe didn't see me when he decided he had to go to the bathroom while in line to start the ceremony. From start to finish, the crew at RD has been extremely helpful, flexible, and amazing to work with. I started out working with Miranda who was a gem, and when she left, I was placed into the very capable hands of Katie and Jess. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, and Jess answered my emails in an extremely timely fashion. From the planning, to the day of, Running Deer was absolutely amazing. We chose to get married in the timbers ceremony space. My vision truly came to life. I got engaged on December 24,2021. From the moment I got engaged it was booking venue tours after venue tours. We toured 8 venues and every venue we tour we left disappointed because I knew that wasn’t the venue we could see our self getting married at. Perfect sunday brunch

Jessica and Miranda were the perfect team that we needed to make sure our wedding was as perfect as we’d imagined. We initially met with Miranda to tour the venue and put a deposit down the same day. The venue had a major upgrade for the bridal suite which is so pretty and a practical space for getting ready. Both were pretty responsive throughout the planning process. They were able to answer any questions I had and accommodated our smaller wedding guest list. We worked on all of the material sent to us and finalized all the details at the details meeting. From the moment we showed up (very early might I add) I was greeted with such a helpful team and people ready to assist in any way possible. I even got a golf cart escort to the bridal suite since the driver saw me walking with a few bags! Jessica was on top of everything from decorations, to seating, to my needs, and anything else that came up. She was super helpful for all of our vendors as well. If there were any issues, I was not aware of them and felt very relaxed. My whole vision was brought to life by their team.

Food: DELICIOUS! We had a Sunday brunch wedding. The brunch buffet had a great variety of food to satisfy all guests. We even had a vegetarian guest who chose from the vegetarian menu and they were extremely satisfied. The cocktail hour food was also perfect. They had vegetables and assorted cheeses available. We chose the shrimp ceviche, cheesesteak spring rolls, steak with chimichurri, Asian broccoli slaw wontons, and chicken and waffles. We loved each of our choices and our guests couldn’t praise the cocktail hour food more.
Professionalism: The team at Running Deer was extremely professional and was on top of everything throughout the day. We did not have any issues with staff while we were there. Sometimes it was hard to get a response through email, however, once I expressed my concern, they immediately called me and made sure it didn’t happen again.
Pricing: We felt the venue and all the charges were extremely fair. They were very flexible with the open bar (we chose only bar and wine), amount of guests, and any changes we had to make.
Photographic: The entire venue has great locations for photographs based on your personal preference! It was a bit hot on our wedding day, so we chose to stay in shady areas, however, there are so many great spots for photographs.

My wife and I can't say enough about the amazing experience of getting married at Running Deer. First of all the location is beautiful. The club is in a gorgeous rural area at the end of a long road with beautiful homes on either side. It feels so private. Running Deer is a popular venue and many local vendors are used to working there, it seems. Our photographer and videographer had been there many times and knew the best shots to get. They worked seamlessly with the wedding coordinators. Speaking of, shout out to Miranda, Jessica, and all of the staff who helped us throughout the process. They were very quick to respond to emails and explained things well. We had a long details meeting about 3 months in advance of the wedding date and then handled smaller things via email from there on. Rehearsal night and morning of, they were accessible and let us work on setting things up in the space.

They have comfortable bride and groom suites, many beautiful decorative items available to borrow, a room dedicated to a dessert buffet (at least we made sure to include this in our package), fire pits outside, and they work with a local bakery so the cake is included in the package.

I can't imagine having a much easier time planning a wedding. Running Deer made it an incredible night for us.

Best Wedding Venue!

We got married at Running Deer Golf Club last Saturday and it was the most perfect day. I cannot recommend Running Deer enough. The planning process went so smooth and everything I asked for they said yes to. They were very accommodating. Kaitlyn and Jessica were so helpful and answered all my emails quickly. Not only us, but our guests as well. The next morning all our guests were talking about how amazing the staff was and how delicious the food was! Everyone said it was the best steak they ever had! I can't thank everyone at Running Deer enough for making our wedding the most amazing day ever!

BEST wedding venue ever!

Running Deer is truly the best of the best. The wedding coordination staff is truly top notch. Kaitlyn and Jess helped plan and decorate the day of. Heather was the wedding day concierge and she truly made my day so special. Without her, it would not have been so seem less. She literally took the shoes off my feet when they were hurting me! She was an actual angel. The venue package comes with everything you could ever want. Our guests had an amazing time and the food was great. If you are local to south jersey, please look into Running Deer!

Best of the best!!

My now husband & I fell in love with this venue! The entire staff at Running Deer was kind, personable, super responsive and SO HELPFUL during the planning process. Our wedding coordinator, Jess, went above and beyond for us from the first details meeting up to wedding day! Jess was by our side all of wedding day, making sure we were well taken care of & never without a drink in our hand ;) She even bustled my 3 layer dress!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and food was excellent. I will never have enough amazing things to say about Running Deer. 100/10 recommend!!

Running Deer truly made our wedding perfect. Miranda, Jessica, and the staff were always available, so enthusiastic and warm, and our day was flawless. From the moment we stepped into Running Deer we knew it was going to be our place and everyone we worked with throughout the entire process was so lovely and professional.
We worked closely with Miranda and Kate from the beginning of the process through to the wedding day and they were so communicative and quick to respond and both incredibly kind and absolutely lovely people to work with. Jessica and Heather were with us every step of the way on the day off and they were both amazing. They anticipated every need and helped keep the day flowing smoothly so that we could just enjoy every moment of it. The wait staff and bartenders did an excellent job taking care of our guests and the food was incredible. Appetizer food has always been our favorite foods at every wedding and Running Deer absolutely crushed it. We couldn’t have been happier with how amazing our wedding at Running Deer was and we will be raving about it to anyone who will listen for the foreseeable future.

Amazing Attention and Responsiveness

We got married at Running Deer Golf Club last weekend and they did a phenomenal job. The ballroom is gorgeous, and the prices are reasonable, but what puts this place over the top is the incredible customer service! Miranda was extremely welcoming from the first showing and her hospitality was equally matched by the day of coordinators Jessica, Heather and the rest of the event staff. The only downfall to this location was that the ballroom was very hot with 150 people in July, but that’s pretty much expected and they do everything possible to make you and your guests comfortable. Overall, we had an amazing wedding experience!

The BEST venue with the BEST people!

Absolutely Magical

Truly, I cannot say enough about Running Deer Golf Club. I felt so at home from the very beginning. They answered every question I had right away and were amazingly kind through the whole process of planning. On the day of, they ABSOLUTELY knocked it out of the park. I did not have one stress at the venue, they took care of everything. The food was amazing, and it’s so scenic and adorable I just loved it. 1,000,000 out of 10 recommend!!!
