Ruth was the absolute best choice for my wedding!! She did my bridal hair and moms hair and makeup. We both looked and felt SO GOOD!
I have super fine baby hair that doesn’t hold a curl and I sought advice from Ruth to get a ponytail extension. The store she referred me to hooked me up and Ruth did the best job with my hair. I danced the entire night and it was still in perfect condition!!
Ruth is a pro, is extremely prepared and organized, really knows the ins and outs of HMU, and made my wedding day morning a great experience. The photos speak for themselves!!

Unmatched Excellence in Hair and Makeup
Ruth is an amazingly talented hmua! She is incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. She was so helpful to me as a bride in recommending suggestions of products to achieve the exact look I wanted for my wedding day. I didn’t go for a classic bridal look, although Ruth is a pro at beautiful classic bridal hair and makeup, but she listened to exactly what I wanted and seemed so effortless in achieving my look. She is prompt, on time and an excellent communicator. She and her team made the ‘getting ready’ part of my wedding day so easy, stress-free and perfect! I felt like a goddess thanks to Ruth’s glam. All of my girls that day chose such different looks and Ruth and her team executed beautifully! I was very pleased with her services, and felt like she over delivered. Wow! I will definitely use Ruth for any future makeup or hair event! She is a true gem with such talent! And honest about her pricing and skills provided. My dream mermaid wedding hair came to life, I loved my Disney princess eyes and facial look. She was patient and worked with me, producing my perfect bridal look! Ruth is phenomenal!!!
Ruth is amazing! Very professional, she did an excellent job for my bridal makeup and hairstyle! We did a pre-bridal session which coincided with my engagement photoshoot and the results were exceptional! The day of my wedding I cried, I sweated (I was dancing nonstop for 5 hours-we had a greek/persian wedding so you can imagine there was a lot of belly dancing and not only!), I jumped up and down, but the makeup and hair stayed in place!!! I highly recommend Ruth, I hope we’ll have more occasions to work together in the future!!! A huge thank you!!! -

Ruth did an amazing job with my hair for my wedding day! It stayed in and looked beautiful all night, even with all the dancing and jumping I was doing! Ruth and her team were amazing. I lucked out finding her only a month before my wedding date and being able to schedule a hair and make up trial beforehand. She is prompt, professional, and does an incredible job! I asked for simple, natural-looking makeup and she gave me just that. I have difficult hair to work with, but she had no problems making it into the sweeping low updo I wanted. She was attentive, took my concerns into careful consideration and delivered stunning looks for me, my mom, and my two friends. She also comes fully prepared with her whole setup—very impressive. I 100% recommend Ruth and her team for any and all hair and makeup needs. -

Ruth and her team were so great and accommodating! I was planning my California wedding in Ireland and she really was really accommodating with the difficulties of international communication. On the day herself and her team worked together with me to create a look that I would love and be comfortable in, I couldn't ask for anything better! I was connected to Ruth through my wonderful makeup artist and the first time I was met her at on my wedding day, She listened and followed through on my hairstyle perfectly!! I wanted simple loose/beachy waves that followed my natural hair but was a bit more refined, with sides pinned back a bit from my face. I was so happy to with how Ruth took the time to do it right, with how my hair turned out , and with how lovely it was to work with her. I would absolutely recommend Ruth to other brides and people who want their hair done by a calm, talented, and sweet stylist!! -

Wedding journey
I was looking for a hair and make up artist and Ruth was recommended to me. I'm so glad she was. I loved the soft natural looks she creates. I'm not one to wear makeup and Ruth made sure we would get the right looks for what I was envisioning. Ruth was with me for my whole wedding process from engagement shoot, to bridal shower, and wedding. I wanted more of an old Hollywood glam look for the engagement shoot, she nailed it. The bridal shower was a trial for the wedding day to get the look. Since I'm not used to make up we did try out different foundations to find the right one for me. When it came to the wedding day I was so happy with what Ruth created. My make up was amazing and it stayed perfect all night, my hair was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Ruth 100%. -

Ruth is 10/10!!
Ruth is fantastic!! I've continuously used her whenever I need special occasion make up, so of course I had to use her for my wedding day. She is professional, fun, and attentive to your wants and needs. She did make up for five different people on my wedding day and did each one perfectly! Everyone left her chair feeling beautiful and looking their best. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great makeup artist who is also fairly priced and a joy to work with! Bonus: she did my make up AND hair! -

Ruth was so great to work with! She was super responsive, easy to work with and flexible. She was part of what I lovingly call my 'dream team' for the wedding day. She made us feel comfortable, safe and beautiful! Bonus was that she did hair AND make-up; this was super important to me to have as few people as possible involved on our special day. -

WARNING ⚠️ I got an eye infection the next day after this woman used her eye makeup on me🤢 I cannot prove it was her makeup brushes but I'm pretty sure
I would NEVER ever in a million years ever recommend this woman. The hair looked absolutely awful an hour later the curl didn't even hold. I don't know if she put hairspray in my hair or not but my hair was tangled and looked like a rats nest. The makeup was subpar and as I said the hair looked like something someone does at a sleepover. Disgusting I had to pay $800 dollars for this woman and the makeup and hair wasn't even worth half of that. I'm so disgusted these reviews must be from friends and family I just can't believe how awful my hair looked after an hour everything fell flat. I understand obviously my hair won't look EXACTLY the same by the end of night versus when I had it first done but an hour later the curl didn't hold and by the end of the night the hair had looked like I slept in it and it was awful. Oh by the way what I wanter her to do with my hair versus what I showed her in the picture is NOT what I got. To make matters worse I don't think she cleaned her brushes because guess what.....the very next day I had eyes that were burning and itchy. I ended up going to the eye doctors and they gave me prescription eye medication. I hate this woman don't ever ever EVER book her EVER. I cannot prove it but I'm pretty sure because she didn't wash her eye brushes I ended up getting an eye infection all for the lovely $800
