  Absolutely amazing!

  Ruth is AMAZING. She was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She is kind, reliable, easy going, and oh so talented. No other photographer has ever made me feel as comfortable as she did. My husband and I are over the moon with how well our pictures came out. If you don't use Ruth, you are seriously missing out.

  Ruth Doctor was absolutely amazing! She was quick to respond to all my emails regarding engagement pictures and was very accommodating. When it came to taking our engagement pictures, my fiancé and I were nervous because we weren't sure what poses to do, but she made us feel so comfortable and gave great direction. The pictures she took turned out so well, and she was able to capture sweet moments that weren't staged. She is easy going and very flexible and really seeks to capture the love that two people share between each other. She is also open to any suggestions that could make the shoot go better. I cannot wait for her to capture our wedding day in January! Check out her work! You won't regret it!

  Last week Ruth took engagement pictures of my fiance and me! I don't know where to start to rave about it! - Let's start with how Ruth interacted with us. - She made us feel so comfortable taking pictures, which to me is huge. She was the perfect mix of present and invisible. And isn't that what you want in a photographer? You don't want to be acutely aware of a lens in your face, but also, you want someone who can easily interact with you and your spouse, fiance, or family. Second is her style! Ruth has an eye for closeups and captures facial expressions and also is able to be creative with different scenery! I was really impressed how she knew and took advantage of natural light too! Lastly- timeliness. I was expecting to take pictures and wait a week or two or three to see the pictures. She had the pictures back to me in less than 72 hours!!! Definitely would recommend!

  I am so glad I decided to do my engagement photos and bridal shoot with Ruth! She was professional but made the shoot a lot of fun. She had such a good eye for setting up shots. The photos turned out really well, I will definitely use her for photos in the future!

  Ruth was so great. She promptly edited our pictures and sent them to us. She was so relaxing to be around on our wedding day and made sure to get all of the photos we had told her that we wanted. I would highly recommend her to everyone!

  Ruth did an incredible job. She is great to work with and made the whole experience comfortable and fun. I was looking for someone who had an eye for natural beauty and Ruth has exaclty that! Definitely recommend. She’s one of the best!

  Ruth we such a blessing to us on our wedding day! She was flexible and supportive. Communication was made easy with her questions about us as a couple and plans for the wedding day. Through those conversations, she knew what moments were most important us and she captured them beautifully. Ruth was a knowledgeable (and joyful) presence to have on our wedding day. She was even willing to be at our venue at 7am for our morning ceremony. We received our pictures in a great amount of time and they turned out even better than we had hoped.

  Ruth was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Every step of the way - before, during, and after - was better than imagined. Leading up to the wedding, she was extremely responsive/communicative, very flexible and easy to get in touch with. When wedding day rolled around, she went above and beyond expectations. She is a blast to be around, is very good at giving directions, and made everyone feel extremely comfortable - myself, my husband, the whole bridal party, family, friends, even guests! We received our pictures very quickly afterwards, and to say she made our wedding day look amazing is an understatement. Not only are the pictures beautiful, she captured all my favorite moments and moments I wasn't even aware happened! She is a dream, and I'd 100% recommend her!

  Taking our engagement photos with Ruth was a dream! She was so easy to be with and we truly felt like ourselves during the shoot (which isn't something I can usually say about being in front of a camera!). We were so pleased the finished product and truly treasure the photos she took!
