When we decided to embark on a destination wedding we knew there would be some obstacles we would have to face. For example, we would need to trust the wedding planners recommendations on DJ's, Photographers, Videographers etc before physically meeting them. Everyone knows the 3 key factors to a great wedding is the food, the alcohol, and the music. The music is what makes or breaks your party hands down. My priority was partying all night and having everyone on the dance floor enjoying themselves. Also, being a professional dancer myself I knew the music was of the utmost importance and literally chose a wedding dress I knew I could dance in. DJ Ruuben was first on the list of my wedding planners recommendations so naturally I looked him up first. His profiles on both wedding wire and instagram were very professional and up to date. I knew just from the consistent content Ruuben took his business very seriously and was always striving to make each party better than the next. That alone spoke volumes to me. Then we had a zoom interview and in person meeting when we went down to taste food and I had great vibes from Ruuben right away. Months go by I curated playlists for specific times throughout the night and Ruubens portal he uses was everything I could've asked for. It was organized and easy to use to enter all my special songs, notes, playlists etc. Day of, he's professional as always and ready to go. The set up of his equipment was clean and professional and he kept my guests dancing ALL NIGHT. I knew I would be dancing all night but when my guests literally did not even know cake was served because they were too busy dancing I knew we nailed it. My 76 year old grandmother would not stop dancing. I was told the following days after our wedding, "That was the best wedding ever," "We've never danced that much in our lives," "That was the best DJ," "He played the best music," "This was the funnest wedding I've ever been too." If that is not enough to convince you to book Ruuben right now then keep scrolling and to each his own. But if you want a once in a lifetime party that people will remember forever contact Ruuben now!!!
Ruuben thank you for everything you made our dream wedding a reality, and my night one I'll never forget. To dance with our closest family and friends all night I couldn't have asked for anything more. You are SUPERB at what you do! Thank you thank you thank you! -

Ruuben was incredible! From beginning to end the process was smooth and professional. He was communicative and responsive and helped put us at ease leading up to our big day. When the day arrived, he was there early to set up and last but not least, threw an amazing dance party! I could not recommend Ruuben more for professional DJ services! -

Ruuben was absolutely excellent to work with for our destination wedding and we can’t recommend him enough. His online portal made selecting songs and planning the events of the evening very easy, yet he still made time to have multiple calls with us up until the day of the event to answer questions. The music was great and the party was amazing thanks to Ruuben’s DJ-ing. No one sat down - our guests of all ages did not leave the dance floor the entire night! Several have told us that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and that is without a doubt thanks to Ruuben. He even made us an Instagram reel of everyone dancing afterward, which we loved, and have watched many times as we were reliving the evening afterwards. We would do it all again in a heartbeat if we could. Thank you so much!!! -

Dj Ruuben was the perfect choice for our small intimate wedding at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba festival plaza! His fun and easy going personality made the whole process so smooth!!! My guests all had a blast on the dance floor and even though we were a small group, Ruuben knew exactly how to keep the fun going and energy up! Thank you Ruuben!!! -

Ruuben was so easy to work with and super professional. We had such a great time at our wedding! He even offered to meet with us at our venue in Aruba and go over all the final details before the big day. He played all of our recommended songs and everyone danced the night away! Our experience with Ruuben’s Professional Services truly felt like a fairytale come to life. From the moment we first connected with them, we knew we were in good hands.
Ruuben was nothing short of phenomenal! Our wedding was an absolute dream come true, and he played a HUGE part in making it unforgettable. His music selection was impeccable, perfectly capturing the mood of every moment. The dance floor was packed all night long thanks to his incredible energy and ability to read the crowd. He truly made it the ISLAND RAVE of our dreams!!! But it wasn't just his music skills that impressed us. Ruuben was professional, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. He also joined us for one of our welcome events and we now consider him our great friend who will be visiting us in the US next year!!! We can't thank him enough for creating such an amazing atmosphere. If you're looking for a DJ who will elevate your wedding to the next level, look no further than Ruuben!

We booked DJ Ruuben because he was recommended by our coordinator and frequently worked with our venue, and we are so happy we did! He set up a pre-wedding meeting to get to know us and provided information on his services. He was so responsive to emails, and his website for planning our event with any special requests was so easy to use. It's clear he has worked with our venue countless times and that put us at such ease because he had the schedule of events, setup and timeline of the day down already. I'm not one to micro-manage and only put a few do not plays and song requests in, but otherwise left the choices up to him! He did a great job and would definitely recommend him for any couple getting married! -

Rubeen was very profesional and responsive since day one. The platform he uses for the bride and groom to choose the songs is great and self explanatory. He also has two forms that are very easy to fill out. My husband and I are extremely happy with everything he played during our wedding. We 100% recommend him.

SO glad we hired DJ Ruuben for our weddings after party on Renaissance Private Island!! He has an awesome system where you can input your song choices, do not play songs, etc all prior to the big day. You can also send the link to friends and family to requests songs, which made everything so easy! We were able to meet prior to the big day to talk through all our song choices, vibes, etc. Ruuben is so professional and kept the party going ALL NIGHT LONG. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great DJ!! -

Hiring Ruuben for our wedding was one of the best choices we made! My husband and I got married this past November in Aruba, and Ruuben made the night absolutely unforgettable.
From the moment we met in person during our walk-through the day before, we knew we were in good hands. Ruuben is extremely kind, personable, professional and knowledgeable.
From the first song to the final dance, Ruuben curated a playlist that kept everyone dancing ALL NIGHT. I'm not exaggerating when I say our guests didn't sit for a single song. We had both Spanish speaking and American guests and we expressed to him that we wanted lots of variety. Ruuben knew exactly what songs to play to cater to every single person and musical taste. His versatility and willingness to cater to our tastes truly made the evening feel personalized and special. From old-school classics, to Spanish music, house music, the latest hits, and more, he really had it all. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety and how the music was spot-on for every moment.
Not only is Ruuben well-versed in music, but he is an incredible MC! He was on top of everything and was one of the main reasons the night went so smoothly. He knew all the cues and how to keep the party going.
Ruuben's professionalism and positive attitude was a breath of fresh air. He answered all our questions before the event, calming our nerves and ensuring us that everything would go as planned. Their friendly demeanor and enthusiasm will put you at ease and make you confident, ready to enjoy your big day.
We couldn't be happier with how the night turned out. It was the absolute best day of our lives. We received a lot of positive feedback from our guests, many saying it was the best wedding they've attended, and I have no doubt that having Ruuben there was a significant part of that.

When deciding to have a destination wedding all the nerves of what to do set in. It’s in a different country, how am I supposed to decide on things without being there? I will say finding and hiring Ruuben was the best decision I made! I saw his great reviews and followed him on social media and decided to send him a message! He responded immediately and he was so welcoming and informative from the beginning. It was a no brainer I had to hire him. He wasn’t only just a photographer, he was so much more. He eased my mind with all of my planning and I knew my pictures would come out beautifully. He was so helpful at my first meeting at our resort and pretty much led the conversation since I was completely clueless. The day of he stayed in communication with me the entire time and he was so easy and fun to be around. We had a family issue come up during the ceremony and he made sure we got the pictures we wanted after the fact, even if he had to stay late! Well once I saw the photos I was blown away once again. His turn around time was outstandingly
Quick and the quality of his work is second to none. His is the nicest, most professional person we worked with in this entire experience and I would hire him 100 times over. -

DJ RUUBEN KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK... My guests had an amazing time and nonstop talked about how great the DJ was. He worked with me before on song choices and transitions; he also had a portal for guests to request songs the portal, (also an area for us to put do not play songs which I loved)... he had suggestions along with flexibility for late-minute additions. Dj Rubben even sent us a recap playlist to listen to for years to come. and for those worried about not getting enough social media content... he had so many great posts for me to share. I was worried about choosing vendors from a distance... but would HIGHLY recommend anyone pick DJ Ruuben to anyone who wants to make their wedding experience amazing. -

We gave DJ Ruuben free rein to do as he pleased during our reception and he DELIVERED!! He was amazing!! All our guests had a blast and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night (except when we were dancing in the ocean)! When you book him, he provides a link to an app, where you fill out your wedding timeline and all your songs for the wedding (first dance, father/daughter dance, last dance, etc). He also provides a link for your guests to request music before the wedding too! He was so down to earth and fun to talk to too!! -

DJ Ruuben far exceeded every single one of our expectations. From Day 1, he was proactive and kept prompt and consistent communication with us. He really took the time to get to know us before our event and provided a web portal and forms to help us outline our day and even our song requests. His attention to detail is necessary to make your day the best it can possibly be! He helped us customize our event in ways we didn't even think possible (hello custom gobos!) Our group knows how to party, and Ruuben kept it going all night. We even had guests trying to extend our reception when the night was coming to an end.. it was THAT good! My only regret is not hiring Ruuben for another hour or two, we just truly never wanted the night to end. Thank you for EVERYTHING Ruuben!! -

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Ruuben was!! First off, he showed up to our initial meeting wearing a Mickey Mouse t-shirt, which made me so happy! My father, Mickey, passed away 3 years ago and this felt like a sign. We asked him to wear his best Mickey t-shirt to the wedding and he delivered! The music was FANTASTIC! He made the most epic playlist that fit our recommendations and taste perfectly. He even helped us with karaoke night, a few of our guests ended up singing and it was such a blast. I was actually worried when we booked, because I always thought I wanted a live band for my wedding, but I’m so glad I was introduced to Ruuben. You absolutely cannot get married in Aruba without him!
