Absolutely gorgeous venue! I’ve lived in Augusta for 20 years and have always dreamt of getting married here! Rachel, wedding coordinator for Sacred Heart, is super nice and very flexible with her brides. She really is a sweetheart. It’s worth the money!

Sacred heart is so beautiful that you do not need much decor for your wedding because it will already look amazing. The venue was large enough for our ceremony and reception to all be held in the same room with a quick flip during cocktail hour-our guests were thrilled to not have to travel separately to the reception. They were accommodating to any requests I had and responded quickly.

There's only one word to say about Sacred Heart - Incredible. Walking into Sacred Heart for my wedding reception was like a dream come true. Not only is the center itself extremely beautiful, but the service we received from the staff was as well. Having booked the venue after only visiting once, we were worried that something might fall through. It didn't. Even with over 250 guests, the staff created a set-up that ensured our guests were comfortable and able to enjoy the evening. We are very appreciative of their responsiveness and flexibility.

Sacred Heart Cultural Center has a space large enough to hold the ceremony and reception in one room with plenty of room for a dance floor! It also had plenty of areas that provided a gorgeous backdrop for our pictures. Very pleased and would highly recommend!

Sacred Heart is an absolutely wonderful choice for a venue and I am so glad I went with them for my reception. The building is gorgeous and I had several compliments from many of my guests on the beauty of the building. The staff is incredible and more than willing to help you in any way they can.

I am having my wedding here and couldn't be more excited!! It's a gorgeous building right down town and is affordable too!

I live in Augusta, Georgia so I've driven past Sacred Heart often but never thought much about it. My husband suggested Sacred Heart when we began planning our wedding. The staff was friendly but because we were both working out of town during the planning process, we did not actually get to view the inside of the venue in person until 2 weeks before the wedding. When we did stop by, my husband and I didn't quite get a warm and fuzzy feeling though because we weren't formally shown around, just told that we could go upstairs to see it. Other than that, we had a good experience. The day of the wedding they had someone to help with the floor plan and someone in the office for any help needed. In regards to the venue, it was beautiful. We had both our ceremony and reception there and it was large enough to set up the chairs for the ceremony in the front and the tables for the ceremony in the back. During the cocktail hour, the tables were spread out and the chairs moved to be placed around the guest tables. The outside of the building is beautiful and wonderful for photos. The only complaint that we had about the venue were the acoustics. The music and speech didn't really sound that clear. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend them.

Absolutely gorgeous venue!!! It was perfect for our ceremony and reception. We had approximately 100 guests (plus 16 people in the wedding party) and there was PLENTY of room. Our ceremony took place at 3pm on November 18th and the lighting in the hall was absolutely perfect. I would certainly recommend this venue to anyone.

The site was the perfect background for our perfect day! The ceremony was outside in the courtyard and the reception was indoors. They provide tables and chairs for indoors, but none for outdoors. They worked well with us and tried to meet all of our needs even if they were a little outside the box.
