We worked with Saguzo Eventos, Gladys and Olga, for three years (including 2 Covid postponements) to plan our dream wedding in Antigua, Guatemala. Under these extraordinary circumstances, we were able to fully rely upon Saguzo’s organizational and planning skills. We appreciated their positive attitudes and professionalism. The welcome dinner and wedding (which included a parade and fireworks!) were all realized to perfection. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever seen. We are so grateful and highly recommend Saguzo for your wedding planning! -

The most incredible planners in the biz!
Having Gladys and Olga as our wedding planners was by pure fate. Or, at least, that is what we tell ourselves! We were trying to plan a wedding during the pandemic and had a specific date in mind for March 2022 and that happened to be the only weekend they had available that month. As I said... fate. Gladys, Olga and the whole Saguzo team is what allowed our dream wedding to become such a beautiful reality.
Working with Saguzo was an incredible experience. They are two of the most passionate, kind, caring, genuine, honest and optimistic women I've met. We trusted them wholeheartedly from the first day we met them and they never ceased to exceed our expectations. They are extremely respectful and organized partners and take their work and your experience very seriously. There was a lot to navigate and understand as we planned our weekend of multiple events and they helped us through it all with patience, empathy and so much expertise. I cannot imagine all of what we envisioned coming to life so beautifully without them leading the way. It is also amazing to see how the rest of the Saguzo team jumps into action to support the events and all of them are equally kind and amazing at their jobs. Such an unstoppable team.
What was also so beautiful to see was how well they partnered with all our other vendors whether they knew them already or were introduced to them by us. Always with so much respect, kindness and professionalism.
I cannot imagine our Antigua wedding experience without Gladys and Olga by our side and I am counting down the days until we can plan another event with them. They are not just our wedding planners, they are friends that we cherish deeply. Do not hesitate to work with them if you have the privilege to, they are truly the best in the business. -

Gladys and Olga helped us through every step of the process of planning, postponing and replanning our wedding (covid times!). Gladys was always very responsive at all hours of the day. Saguzo was the thread that united all of our different vendors across Guatemala and the U.S. I feel like where you truly truly notice their talent is on the day of. Although they were very detailed in ensuring clear schedules and seamless planning and delivery, you can truly see the impact of their efforts on the day of the event. Both our welcome dinner and our wedding truly went off without a hitch. Even guests noticed how perfectly everything went off, because of the hard work of the Saguzo team to make our wedding day feel so smooth and easy. It was so amazing to not have to stress around contacting and dealing with venue, drink, rental vendors, knowing that team Saguzo would handle it all. They also knew when it was important to call meetings to align our vision, and what could be answered through an email, which really showed respect and efficiency for everyones time. This team truly is a dream team! -

If you are considering a wedding in Antigua, Guatemala, HIRE SAGUZO!!! My husband and I both speak Spanish and at one point thought we could handle the wedding planning from California on our own. We are SO thankful and happy we decided not to go with that idea and instead hire Saguzo Eventos. Gladys and Olga are not only the kindest human beings, but they work hard for their couples. They helped us lock down everything right before COVID and then helped up re-schedule all our vendors for our new date amidst the pandemic.
Throughout the entire wedding planning process, we always felt important. Even when Saguzo had other weddings happening before ours, they always made sure to answer all of our questions with so much detail and in a quick response time. Planning during COVID and for a destination wedding is very difficult and stressful but Saguzo always put our mind at ease and kept us focused on the end goal!
When we arrived to Guatemala for our wedding weekend, Saguzo had everything taken care of. We felt so confident in the wedding process because they had helped us take care of everything from payments to ideas and strategies. Saguzo goes above and beyond, you will be thrilled to have them as your wedding planners. Our guests commented on how impressed they were with everything and how Saguzo was at all of our events ensuring everything went smoothly. You can 100% trust them with your wedding day :)
We have already recommended them to our friends who are getting married in Antigua next year and we would recommend Saguzo to anyone interested in a beautifully executed wedding!

The best decision we could have made!
Writing this review way after the fact now that we've got a bit of time with the stay at home orders. We are a couple from NYC that got married in Antigua Guatemala and we could not have been happier with choosing Gladys and Olga to be the planners for our wedding. Even though our wedding was a little over 6 months ago I still think hiring them was the best decision we made. Gladys and Olga were super organized, patient, honest, and respectful. Gladys always responded quickly with attention to detail and did so even without hesitation before we hired her while we were trying to decide which planner to choose. During the planning process Gladys always was patient letting us make our own decisions and would offer her input and recommendations when asked. Usually this was the right decision. Even when we were taking a long time to make final decisions and scatterbrained Gladys would keep us on track.
The community here is tight knit and work together with great chemistry. Gladys had made some great introductions for vendors to help us plan and design everything, the final product really exceeded our expectations and the team here was able to bring it all together amazingly. During the wedding Gladys and Olga kept it all together and made the day so much easier. She went above and beyond during and even after everything was all said and done. Gladys was even a lifesaver helping me to get my passport back when I stupidly sent it back to the US back with my parents. If you are still trying to decide on who to use to help plan your wedding, don't hesistate and go with Saguzo. You won't regret it, we certainly didn't. -

My husband and I were very nervous to spend money on a wedding planner, now we realize it was the best money we could have ever spent. Glady's helped us book every vendor, make every decision and organize our entire wedding. She went above and beyond her job requirements, ensuring that every minute of our destination wedding was better than our dreams. Every staff member she brought (or vendor she recommended) was professional, positive and provided exceptional service.
Gladys and her team will provide you with the best service and the most relaxing / fun wedding. We cannot recommend her enough!
