Saint Clements was the perfect venue for us! We absolutely loved the Waterford Ballroom and the outdoor ceremony area. They thought of every detail and we felt very comfortable that they knew exactly what to do to make things go smoothly. They were responsive to our questions leading up to the wedding day and extremely kind and accommodating the day-of. They even sourced chocolate milk for us to have as a specialty cocktail which was a great personal touch that we and our guests both loved. Multiple people have told us that our wedding is the best one they've ever been to and it was everything we could have dreamed of. We couldn't have asked for better service or a more beautiful location to tie the knot!

Saint Clements Castle is an absolutely breathtaking venue to get married and celebrate! The team puts incredible effort into maintaining the stunning landscape and fine details, ensuring everything is perfect for your big day. From the moment we booked to the wedding day itself, they were by our side, easing our stress and addressing any concerns with quick, responsive communication.

We worked with Alyssa throughout the planning process, and she was fantastic. On the wedding day, Lauren stepped in and was ready to help with anything we needed. The food was phenomenal—I’ve had multiple guests rave about it—and so many people said it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended.

My only small complaint was that the cocktail hour appetizer stations were a bit too spread out. If they had been closer together, I think more guests would have sampled the amazing food.

I never imagined I’d get married at a castle, but here I was, living my dream, and Saint Clements was the perfect place to feel like a queen!

I just had my wedding here at the marina, and it was absolutely PERFECT. All the staff were AMAZING. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Shelby, my wedding coordinator was amazing to work with. She got back to me in a timely manner and answered all my questions. Shelby & Sandra did everything to make the day so special and made it so stress free. I highly recommend having your wedding here. It was adequately priced and the marina was stunning.

St. Clements was an absolute dream! From start to finish Shelby made everything a seamless stress free process. The venue is breathtaking and includes so much of the check list for the big day. I can not recommend this place enough. All of the guests were just as taken away as we were from day one. Easiest choice of this entire process. 10/10 all around.

Our wedding at St. Clement's Castle in July 2024 was, unfortunately, an experience filled with dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and stress. What should have been a joyous day for us turned into months of frustration, disappointment, and blatant disregard for the couple's wishes.

First off, the pressure to book was intense, with constant lies about available dates to push us into a decision. The lack of transparency around pricing was equally troubling. Significant price increases happened on items that were not noted are subject to have price increases. For example, we opted for Jumbo Shrimp as an appetizer, but were never told about a price hike until we had the option to add it to our wedding and noticed it was not the same price noted at booking. After many disagreements, they reluctantly honored the original price, yet our guests, my husband, myself or our parents never even saw the shrimp despite paying for it!!

My mother, noted missing items from her meal—no goat cheese on the salad, substituted with parmesan—and the pasta course was a joke. Written communication stated we would have large bowls of pasta as was usually given at their events, but guests were served tiny ramekins. My husband and I didn't even receive our pasta course at all!

As if the food issues weren’t enough, St. Clement's is rigid and controlling when it comes to customizing your wedding. They flat-out refused changes that would have made our day more personal. Worse, their discriminatory practices barred us from bringing in an ethnic celebratory alcohol tied to our culture—while allowing other similar drinks from different backgrounds. They nearly banned us from having our traditional dance as well. The venue’s lack of respect for cultural traditions was deeply upsetting for both us and our families.

Trying to coordinate with our wedding coordinator, Rebecca, was next to impossible, especially in the final weeks when critical decisions needed to be made. Communication became sparse, and it was clear they cared more about marketing to our guests than our experience. In a written email from Rebecca, she explicitly referred to our wedding as a "marketing event" for St. Clement’s, rather than focusing on making it a special day for us. This is not just unprofessional; it’s heartless.

Upper management, Pam, was just as unhelpful and disrespectful. When we raised concerns, she would constantly talk over us, going on long-winded rants to avoid listening to our grievances. At one point, she even claimed she was talking over us because she couldn’t hear us due to her air conditioning unit. Her dismissiveness and refusal to acknowledge our concerns were infuriating.

To add insult to injury, the venue completely ignored our detailed wedding packet, which included specific instructions and photos on how things should be set up. Our welcome sign was set in the wrong place, our seating chart was incorrectly positioned due to the venue giving us the wrong information of where guests would be entering the reception, and other key signs and displays were either hidden or placed inappropriately from what we discussed with St. Clement's during our final meeting. Despite months of planning and discussions, it was as if they hadn’t even bothered to look at the packet we provided that went in great detail so the venue could execute everything exactly as we would have hoped.

While no vendor can be perfect, the level of neglect we experienced at St. Clement's was beyond unacceptable. We poured months of effort into making our day special, only for St. Clement’s to ignore most of our wishes and treat us with contempt.

This venue is not only expensive, but also deceptive, manipulative, and discriminatory. It was by far the most stressful part of our wedding, and I regret choosing St. Clement’s. Many of our vendors and guests called their behavior “disgusting” and “unacceptable,” and I couldn’t agree more. Save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere for a venue that values your day as much as you do.

Rebecca, Autumn, Lauren and the rest of the staff at Saint Clements helped us have the most amazing and special day of our lives. Rebecca was so responsive with all of our requests throughout the whole planning process and Lauren and Autumn worked so hard to make sure everything went smooth the day of. We had an unexpected storm pass through as soon as we were supposed to start the outdoor ceremony and they got everyone under the tent in a timely manner and were able to keep basically everything on schedule after that. The food is amazing, the Waterford ballroom is beautiful, the staff is so nice and helpful. My husband and I highly recommend having your wedding here!!

Our wedding was magical and perfect in every way!!! Alyssa was amazing through the entire process and our day of team was incredible!! Everyone was so kind and attentive and went the extra mile. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and team of people to work with. And this venue is just GORGEOUS in every way!!! 10/10 recommend Saint Clement’s!! Specifically, the Prince Edward Ballroom!!

Our wedding at Saint Clements Castle was nothing short of magical. The Waterford is absolutely breathtaking, and the service at Saint Clements has been remarkable.

Saint Clements took care of everything for us from the start. Shelby helped us stay organized from the day we booked the venue to the day of the wedding, ensuring we didn't miss or forget anything. Her communication with us via email was smooth, efficient, and very responsive. Saint Clements was also very accommodating to all our requests.

On the day of the wedding, they made sure all our guests were taken care of, attending to all the little details. They managed everything for us, from setting up the decor to taking it down and organizing it for us to take home. The staff is incredibly friendly. We had the pleasure of working with Shelby and Kate, both of whom are wonderful people. The staff at Saint Clements Castle went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made the planning process seamless and stress-free. Everything flowed flawlessly, thanks to their coordination.

This is the perfect place for a wedding. It is absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazing. The food is amazing. Every thing from working with Rebecca for setting up everything up until the day of the wedding to working with Ashley and the rest of the staff to see our vision for the wedding come to life was an easy and amazing process. I was very rushed by the staff at saint clement’s castle on my wedding day. For a venue that is very strict they certainly rush you the entire time. We asked of one thing for someone to bring the golf cart to my grandma in need and were completely ignored because they wanted to get the show on the road. Awful.

This venue was perfect! Everything ran smoothly! The wedding day coordinator and bridal attendant were perfect! I felt like a princess on my wedding day! This was the perfect Venue!!

The coordinators and staff at Saint Clements are truly pros and everything you could ask for on your wedding day. We first heard about the venue from several other happy couples and after touring the grounds and feeling like we stepped into a fairytale we knew this was the venue for us! The team of Pam, Katelynn and Ashley were so attentive and with us every step of the way. Pam answered every single question that I had and was very responsive leading up to the wedding day, making sure everything was in place. I also cannot say enough good things about the day-of coordinators and staff. Despite rain and an unexpected bear on the grounds trying to crash our first look, both Ashley and Katelynn were there by our sides to make sure the day was seamless! The guests also raved about the food, the grounds and the way that everything ran like a well oiled machine. Saint Clements is simply the best there is for a wedding venue in CT!

Saint Clements was spectacular to work with! They were organized and had incredible attention to detail. They did everything I asked for. The staff is responsive and accommodating! Jeri day of was an angel - taking care of not only the wedding party but our family! I cannot recommend them enough!

Saint Clement’s Castle was more than we ever dreamed of. It was a true fairy tale of a day. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The amount of compliments we received not only on the beauty, but also the incredible staff at Saint Clements speaks volumes. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone we worked with whether the day of or while planning were responsive and accommodating. We had our final meeting two days before the wedding to review all of the final details. We brought in our box filled with decor, placement cards, etc and it was beautifully displayed the day of to enhance what the castle already has to offer. Pam messaged me weeks after our wedding checking in on the status of my father in law because she knew he was not well. She continually sent her love and prayers as soon as she found out. We cannot wait to go back to Saint Clement’s as a guest at another wedding to be able to soak everything in again from a different standpoint. The food was fantastic, cocktail hour and our meal choices. We didn’t want everyone sitting at the table for hours eating their meal so our coordinator had recommended doing the pasta course at cocktail hour as a station. We loved this idea!

Saint Clements Castle was amazing for our wedding! The venue is so unique and very reasonably priced for all the great amenities you get. Rebecca our Sales Coordinator and Lindsey our Event Manager were stellar and answered our million questions and accommodated all of our requests! If only we could have multiple weddings. 😂

My Husband(!) and I got married here over this past weekend and words cannot describe how phenomenal the experience was. Quick background on us— we go to A LOT of weddings (like average of 15 weddings a year for the past 5 years- A LOT) so not only do we have a lot of experience with wedding venues, but our guests do too. We knew people would tell us how beautiful the venue was (and it IS absolutely stunning) but it is the first time we have ever heard our friends specify the incredible level of service they received at someone else’s wedding venue. We had dinner with a large group of our guests the night after our wedding and every single one went out of their way to tell us how blown away they were by the staff and service. We heard all types of very specific feedback— everything from “it was the most food I’ve ever seen at a cocktail hour” to “in all the black tie weddings I’ve been to no one has ever asked me how I wanted my steak cooked before” to “the bartender was so amazing I complimented her on her glitter eyeshadow and she literally gave me some to put on.” Every single person on the Castle staff went above and beyond anything any of our guests have experienced despite most of our friends being what we refer to as “professional wedding guests.” :)

Pam, Lindsey, Jenna and the entire Saint Clements staff were a joy to be around and extremely attentive not only to our own needs, but to the needs of all 160 guests we had in the Waterford Ballroom.
The food was PHENOMENAL. The property was BREATHTAKING and the service was beyond our wildest expectations. Best decision we’ve ever made was chowing this venue. Truly the best night of our lives.

The entire team at Saint Clements Castile is beyond exceptional. We had a 3 year wedding journey, thanks to Covid, and they were nothing short of amazing the whole time. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and Team to work with.

Pam was always willing to hop on a call with us and responded to all our questions. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything. Ashley was truly outstanding the day of the event. I felt like she must have a twin (or two), because she was always there when we had questions or needed something, and she was even checking in with our parents. Katelyn was also outstanding. She was there when we had questions, and was so kind. She provided wonderful touches that brought the wedding to life.

Now, onto the bar tenders, hosts, and servers. They were memorable, kind, and always willing to help. Many of our guests commented at how incredible everyone was.

I truly believe St. Clements is the best wedding venue around. They say "strive for perfection, settle for excellence" and I feel that phrase embodies their team.

As a bride, I had a stress free wedding day all thanks to this venue and team. What more could you ask for?

Pam, Ashley, Katelynn, and everyone at Saint Clements made our day amazing! My husband and I couldn’t thank them enough for all their hard work. They were our biggest cheerleaders for our wedding theme: The Legend of Zelda. Pam was amazing with handling any last minute changes that came our way! This is an absolutely AMAZING venue. It is breathtaking just upon driving in, and the waterfront view is outstanding. Saint Clements staff were extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process and very responsive to any questions. Everyone was amazing the day of and helped make the day run so smoothly. The flowers around are stunning based on the seasons, and the views are incredible. The food and drinks were great and there is so much to choose from. Everyone loved their time here. We truly could not have asked for a better place to get married!

My husband and I got married at Saint Clements Castle on January 15th, 2022. We had so much fun!! It was honestly the best wedding I’ve ever been to, and I’m not just saying that cause it was my wedding.

We originally booked our wedding with Saint Clements Castle before Covid, and had to postpone because of Covid. They were so flexible and the postponing process was seamless. I kept hearing nightmare postponing or wedding cancelation stories from other people and Saint Clements was so understanding and so easy to work with.
The weeks/days leading up to the wedding they were also so flexible with our last minute cancellations, due to Covid. So much so, that at our final appointment they asked who else had canceled on us, and accommodated us. They were so understanding and truly wonderful. Huge shout out to Pam!!

Day of the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding!! It was like a fairy tale. The whole team the day of made everything so easy and stress free for us. They told us where to go and when so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They made sure we had enough to eat, and had a drink in our hand. Even now our guests keep texting us saying it was one the best weddings they’ve every been to. Highly recommend Saint Clements Castle for any couple!!!

Saint Clements Castle was a truly magical place to have a wedding. Pam Marshall and her team are attentive, creative, supportive and talented. We had to postpone the wedding for my son and daughter in law for almost 18 months, and then were still hit with Covid concerns. Pam and her team helped navigate us through every concern, decision and detail. Everything leading up to the wedding was handled seamlessly. Pam was clear, articulate, told us what was included, the policies around Covid and everything we needed to know. She was extremely responsive and fair. The day before the wedding, we sat down to cover last minute items, and everything was fully attended to. The night of the wedding was amazing. The bride, groom, parents, and entire wedding party was taken care of individually. We felt like we had our own staff just for each of us. The venue is stunning, the food was absolutely wonderful, the choices were varied and all were delicious. Our guests were effusive with their comments. We used many of the vendors suggested by St. Clements and they were terrific as well. The night really was just so incredibly special. My son and daughter in law were so happy, and we will remember that night forever. Thank you to Saint Clements for making it extraordinary!

We got married at Saint Clements in September and it was a dream come true. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone a year but Saint Clements and their team made rescheduling easy.

This venue is a one stop shop and makes the whole planning process so easy. They offer competitive priced packages which includes a ceremony site, 3 course meal, dessert, and alcohol. They also have so many enhancements that you can add to make it even better. The grounds are meticulously maintained and make for the perfect back drop.

We were married on the waterford side and the ballroom is so beautiful. You don’t even need that many decorations because the place speaks for itself. Also, the team was so helpful while planning and day of. Can’t thank them enough for everything they did.

We chose Saint Clements Castle for our wedding reception (we were married elsewhere in a private ceremony) because not only was the venue beautiful but we felt that everything was included and they had a lot of experience. They were so flexible and accommodating when we had to postpone our 2020 reception to 2021 because of COVID. The postponing process was pretty painless and we were able to get the same date a year later. Even the week leading up we had last minute guest list changes due to health issues and they were very understanding. On the day of the set up our decor exactly how we wanted and ran the evening so smoothly. All of guests said they had so much fun, enjoyed the food, and thought the venue was beautiful. If you're looking for a fun and easy to plan wedding, Saint Clements is the place to book.

St. Clements Castle is such an amazing and gorgeous venue. The team went above and beyond to make sure our fay went as smoothly and beautifully as possible. Lauren, Rebecca, Lindsey and Julie were absolutely amazing to work with. They were all very organized, attentive and always replied quickly. Lindsey and Julie were the best wedding attendants I could have ever asked for! I would rate them all 100/10!
