We had two photographers who were with us the entire day, and we really treasure the pictures and the whole experience! I loved walking through Rome as newlyweds and having them take beautiful photos of us. They are just the nicest sweetest women, and wonderful to work with! We highly recommend them! The quality of the photos were great, and some of them were too large to be uploaded to weddingwire. We have had so many compliments on the photos.

My wife and I are American and were married in Rome this summer. Before we even get to Salt n Pepper's stunning photography, we have to mention that our entire destination wedding may not have come together the way it did without Salt n Pepper's help. When we first started looking for vendors in Italy, Salt n Pepper was the first service my wife found online. It’s unusual to book photographers for a wedding first, but we were so impressed with Salt n Pepper that we had to hire them. Of course, that meant we still needed much additional assistance -- wedding planning, catering, hair and makeup, etc. Salt n Pepper referred us to Parade Wedding, a planning vendor, who proved to be an absolute perfect fit for us and our wedding. Parade found a great caterer for us, helped us book administrative appointments to complete the various legal documents necessary for our wedding ceremony, and made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. The fact that Salt n Pepper works with and refers clients to such high-quality vendors speaks volumes about their own focus and value as a wedding vendor.
But, of course, we need to talk about what Salt n Pepper does — take absolutely beautiful wedding photos! We were drawn to Salt n Pepper’s work because of its “journalistic” quality. Whereas most wedding photographers—particularly in the US—focus on lots of posed photos, Salt n Pepper spent much of our wedding truly “documenting” the day as it came. They captured all of the laughter, the speeches, the tears of joy, the hugs, the kisses, and all of the quiet, intimate moments in between. My wife and I wanted a small, destination wedding because we wanted to really live in the moment with our guests. Salt n Pepper captured these memories perfectly, and will allow us to relieve them for the rest of our lives.
Martina and her team are also just incredibly sweet, thoughtful people. They made the posed photos we did do lighthearted and a ton of fun, and they also helped us pick out spots around our wedding venue that perfectly matched our style and personalities. Knowing that we planned on ending our evening with a late-night gelato run at Giolitti, Salt n Pepper stayed with us and made sure the end of our wedding was just as well photographed as the start. This was especially remarkable given that our wedding day fell in the middle of one of Italy’s summer heatwaves and the Salt n Pepper team had been lugging around camera equipment all day.
We cannot recommend Salt n Pepper more highly - they are wonderful artists, great people, and will expertly capture the emotions and personalities that make your wedding day special. PS - Salt n Pepper told us they are especially interested in international weddings, so check them out even if you are not planning on an Italian wedding yourself! You won’t be disappointed.
