I just got married last weekend (11.06.21) in Palm Springs at Colony 29 and hired Samantha as my planner. Samantha was SO great to work with. I hired her for partial planning and I'm so happy I did. Samantha was great at providing opinions that helped guide me to make an informed decision. Told me what I really didn't need and what I should definitely go for. She double checked all my hard work leading up to my event and definitely took charge before my event when my stress was mounting! My wedding day (and weekend) went SO smoothly and I knew it would after talking to Samantha so many times! I texted, called, and emailed her an annoying amount of times and she was also so professional, respectful, and responsive. She was great to work with and would 1000% recommend her.
Will miss working with her! -

I can't even begin to explain how much I loved working with Samantha. I hired her as our month-of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions I made. She was so knowledgable and reliable about vendor suggestions, timelines and our venue. I had a million questions for her and she was able to give me great and assuring ideas for each one of them. And when I say she was a life saver, I mean it! We had to deal with a rain scare on our wedding weekend, and just knowing that she was taking care of everything was so calming. I was able to completely enjoy my day because everything she was in charge of was being perfectly executed. We placed our complete trust in Samantha and she 100% delivered. I would recommend her to every single friend or family member of mine that's about to get married. I can't thank her enough for all of her help! -

Samantha kept us sane throughout the wedding planning process and ensured that everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Of course, issues arose throughout the night, but she kept everything moving, and shielded us from any problems. She was a trusted confidante and voice of reason -- we couldn't have done it without her! -

Antonia Sent on 09/29/2018I had Samantha as my month of coordinator and my only regret is I didn’t have her amazing help and support sooner!! I am an event planner by trade and I can not rave highly enough about Samantha! She was an absolute dream, so supportive and helpful. She took care of all the last details and allowed me to enjoy my day! She had to deal with a mariachi band that I had booked that didn’t show up and she seemlessly found a solution and no one was the wiser! I absolutely love her energy and spirit - she is a joy to be around. She’s extremely responsive and positive, all over the details and has amazing taste. She went above and beyond her role and I can not recommend Samantha enough!!! I will never be able to articulate how much I love her!! Best best best in class! -

Although I didn't hire her for full on wedding planning, she helped me with just about everything! I always had so many questions and she was always there to answer them and help me make decisions. Samantha also did all of the florals for us. She put together such gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces for us that I absolutely LOVED! Her passion and dedication for what she does truly shines through her work. She helped give us a beautiful wedding and went above and beyond for us on our special day. Thank you Samantha, we are forever grateful to you!! I really hope future brides who read this make the same smart decision I made and hire you to help make their dream wedding come true as well :) -

My fiancé and I hired Samantha to help us plan our wedding and were extremely disappointed with her work. So much so that we ended up firing her and even lost money.
We came to Samantha with the goal of locking in a venue quickly so that my mom, whose health is failing, could enjoy the event. We had already spent months searching, and given my mom’s situation, we felt hiring an expert would ultimately make our lives easier. It did not.
To start, most of the locations Samantha sent us were either way off the mark or nowhere near budget. And the majority of the time we were sending her ideas, when it should have been the other way around. At one point, we even sent an email directing her to send us options because we weren’t getting them.
We were also surprised that there was no organization to sending us venues. It wasn’t until we asked if she had a system for this that she took the initiative to organize the venue options.
There were also at least two times in the short period we worked together that she did not respond to emails. Given our tight deadline, that was problematic for obvious reasons. There was even one case where she said she didn’t receive one of the emails yet responded on the same chain that had the original email in it. This didn’t instill confidence.
When we asked to expand the search to houses in the hills, her response was that it’s difficult and she didn’t suggest it. Again, we understand it’s difficult and that is why we sought a professional’s expertise.
While we did end up locking in a venue that she forwarded to us, we had to hand-hold the entire way, and ultimately, had to make a decision regardless, if we wanted to make our fast-approaching deadline.
By the time we settled on our location, we’d lost all faith in her ability to help us plan our wedding. We requested a partial refund, agreeing that Samantha should get a finder’s fee, but that her work didn’t warrant the money we’d already paid her. She refused to remedy the situation even though we made it clear we were unhappy with her work.
In retrospect, I wish we had consulted others who had used her for their weddings. Since this all happened, we’ve talked to two other couples who had similarly negative experiences with her.
If you’re looking for someone to help ease the stress of wedding planning, Samantha is not that person.
