Samantha photographed my sister's wedding a few years ago (in a savage thunderstorm!) so I knew she would do an amazing job. An engagement shoot is included with your package which is awesome to make you feel comfortable with her and her style before your big day (esp. for photo reluctant significant others :) But when Covid impacted our plans I realized how lucky I was to have such an amazing team of vendors, Samantha included. She was incredibly flexible with our venue change and other changes and captured our day in such an amazing way. Even when she'd never been to a location she has a great eye for where to get the best shots and makes everyone feel comfortable during the shoot. Her and her assistant got shots of things we wouldn't have even thought of but are now so grateful to have. They even worked with our 2 dogs and were understanding that due to a shortened timeline, we wanted to be able to spend some time with family and not spend our whole evening doing pictures. I would highly recommend Samantha to put you at ease on your wedding day. What I love the most about our photos is that I can feel the genuine happiness of the day-nothing looks forced or stressed on our faces-I can't say enough about how grateful I am to Samantha for having captured this beautiful day! And she's doing our reception next year too so I can't wait to work with her again!Samantha Martin - photographer's reply:

Jordan Sent on 10/16/2013I found Samantha Martin on Facebook. Her photographs were so wonderful. It seemed like every moment she captured perfectly! So I knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding. We ended up doing an engagement shoot, bridal shoot, as well as my wedding. I came to rely on her judgement and it always paid off BIG TIME! Every time I reviewed my photos I was so overwhelmed with the result, and still am as I look back on them frequently! I could not have asked for someone who was easier to work with or more talented. Not only that but due to the fact that my husband and I are in the military we have hectic schedules This never deterred Samantha, she was always flexible. I could go on and on, but at the end of the day what will be left of your wedding will be the photos. You want someone to do it right and she will! -

It’s truly hard to put into words how amazing Samantha and her assistant did! The photos are the one thing from our wedding that we get to keep and cherish forever, and they did a wonderful job! I cried looking through our photos, and it truly felt as if I was reliving our magical day!
She’s extremely easy to communicate with. I sent her (a rather long) list of photos that I wanted to be taken, and she got all of them. This was a destination wedding, so all communication was over the phone and email. The way she conducts business took so much stress off us.
She got our gallery to us super quick as well.
If you’re looking for someone’s whose professional, communicative, easy to work with, and takes phenomenal photos seriously she is your girl! -

Samantha took the time to explain how everything worked and answered all our questions thoroughly. She helped fill in the gaps that we missed in the planning process and was instrumental in helping our day flow smoothly. She was flexible with scheduling our engagement shoot as weather was a factor and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of, she even had a mini edited slideshow for us to view at the reception! We also got sneak peeks of the pictures the night of (amazing!) and had our gallery ready super fast! Also, her 2nd photographer that she brought was amazing as well- she was SO sweet and took some awesome pictures. Thank you so much for being a part of our day, Samantha!

Brittany Sent on 06/07/2018Samantha is an amazing photographer and so easy to work with! I personally love photo shoots, but my husband is on the camera shy side. After our engagement shoot he raved about how comfortable he felt during the shoot, and dare I say he might have even had a little fun! Our wedding day was no different. We had to work around some weather issues, but Samantha was so positive and flexible. We got amazing shots despite some not so amazing weather! Not to mention her editing time was quick and didn’t keep us in suspense too long :)I highly recommend working with her, you won’t regret it!

Samantha and her second shooter did a great job capturing our wedding m day! She was easy to work with and made sure to photograph our special requests. She was a trooper and even kept shooting during our first look after she was stung by a bee! Samantha was quick to send us some sneak peeks to share right after the wedding.
