  Amazing photography for weddings

  Sameer and Sonya are amazing photographers. They did the photography for our older daughter’s wedding. They did such a fantastic job that we requested them to do the photography and the video for our second daughter’s wedding in October this year. They are excellent photographers, professional, very nice and made both my daughters feel great. The photos captured the essence of the wedding and were amazing! We received the first cut 10 min video footage almost immediately after the wedding and Sameer has done an amazing job.
  Photography is an important aspect of weddings and you cannot go wrong with Sameer and Sonya. I highly recommend them!

  Sameer and Sonya are amazing photographers. They did the photography for our older daughter’s wedding.   Sameer Soorma and his team have an excellent eye for composition and style when it comes to photography. Each and every one of his pictures tells a story and he has a flair for artistry that will make your pictures feel like they are painted by hand. He captures the moment without being obtrusive in any way. He was very easy to work with. We had to change our wedding date and moved up the date by three months and he easily rolled with the change in schedule. He is very responsive and open to ideas and suggestions. Ultimately, you will not be disappointed by his work in the least. In fact, you will be impressed with every single picture he gives you from your event, because he takes the time to make sure each and every picture is properly composed, edited, and the final product is breathtaking. I cannot recommend Sameer enough--we believe we had the best photographer capture one of the most important days of our lives.

  Sameer and Sahil did an amazing job for our pictures. They took shots of all the best moments and the candid pictures capture our events so well. I am so glad to have chosen them as our photographers and now have memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for taking and producing such wonderful photos!

  My husband and I do not have enough words to express how much we LOVE Sameer and Sonia. After looking at their website/blogs and obsessing over the way they take their pictures, we knew we wanted to work them. I felt from like from the beginning Sameer and Sonia just really prioritized making sure that we were happy. They worked with us on our budget, our ideas and during our e-shoot before the wedding, Sameer paid extra attention to the kind of couple we were and the best ways to capture us, and then brought that knowledge to our wedding weekend. I felt that every idea or thought I shared with them, they knew exactly how to make that happen. And the results are awesome! From what we have seen so far w/ our e-shoot pics and some of our wedding pics, every photo is AMAZING, unique and truly a work of art! These two were so professional, friendly and comfortable to be around. Hiring them was the best and easiest decision we made!

I visited Phoenix (my wedding destination) twice and both time they were able to accomodate us into their schedule to meet with us personally for planning.
  Its also great having someone so experienced with weddings, they even looked over my wedding day itinerary...just to make sure my timeline looked feasible.
  Having one photographer dedicated to the bride and other other to the groom, both with exceptional craft, allowed both my husband and I to feel like we had adequate attention.
  I would say normally when you get photographs back from a photographer, you like about 30-40% of them, and love about 10% of them. I would say this team far surpassed that: I liked 90% of them and loved like 75% of them. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose them for photography and videography.

  This photographer did an amazing job capturing every possible moment! I was very please with all my photos. The quality is so good that I am having trouble which images to choose because there are so many high quality images. He did a good job contacting me prior to the event to prepare me with a timeline, I did not have to reach out to him as I did with other vendors. This made a difference to me during a very stressful time as a bride. Whenever I wanted a picture, he was there ready to capture the moment. Very very flexible. Very creative. I can not emphasize how amazing and creative he is. This is just not photography, it is artwork and creativity that he has mastered.

  Sahil covered our Valima ceremony in August, 2013. As a photographer myself, I was pleased to see that he was using proper indoor (wide aperture) lenses, and arguable the best "wedding camera" for the job. On top of having the proper gear, SS Photography was very prompt with replying to calls or messages when we needed to meet or discuss planning. And most importantly, the pictures came out amazing. If we had to do this event all over again, we'd pick the same photographer.

  I worked with Sahil and Sameer for my wedding this past month. Their professionalism, courtesy, and extreme flexibility was a welcome surprise. I worked with them for all four of my wedding events and was blown away by their working style. They showed up early and stayed beyond the hours discussed. Their primary concern was always capturing every moment and never gave me any difficulty. On my big day, they were very flexible and very professional and courteous with my family. I got immense positive feedback and many guests inquired about them for other events. During my e-shoot, Sahil made my husband and I feel very comfortable posing. We are a conservative couple and were never pushed to do anything. In fact, they welcomed my suggestions and encouraged me to bring my ideas. Like many brides, I did a lot of google searching and they incorporated a lot of my favorites in the shoots. I was very happy with every aspect of the work. Every penny will be worth it if you choose them. I will never choose another photographer for my future events. They were just awesome and have a lifelong fan in me!

  Sameer and Sonia were very easy and friendly to work with. They keep your thoughts and ideas in mind while adding their special touch to their photographs. Each photograph told it's own story.   I would like to start by saying that I have never reviewed anyone’s services before but I felt compelled to do so after working with Sameer and his team. I had the pleasure of having Sameer capture my wedding in May of this year. With less than 3 months to plan, I was on a tremendous time crunch and it was through a stroke of good luck that I happened to stumble upon Sameer’s website. At first glance, it was evident to me that Sameer is an exceptionally talented photographer who has a gift of capturing life’s special moments in such an artistic way. His photographs not only tell a story but they come to life through his astute ability to capture even the simplest moments with such grace and elegance.
  Aside from his keen artistic vision, what really sets Sameer apart is his level of professionalism and genuine concern for his clients. From our initial conversation over the phone, it was evident to me that his primary concern was to be of service to us on our special day. Sameer was so personable, flexible and extremely accommodating throughout the entire day.
  I had the opportunity to work with many vendors while putting my wedding together and I found that out of all of them, Sameer and his team left an ever lasting impression on us. It was so refreshing to find a group of people who are not only great at what they do but their passion, dedication, professionalism and genuineness is exemplary. We recently received our finished pictures and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. Our pictures are so crisp and vibrant and it amazes me how Sameer was able to capture the same moments present in every wedding in a distinctive way allowing us to have a unique experience we can call our own.
  It was an absolute pleasure working with Sameer and his team and we could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Thanks to Sameer, we have a beautiful snapshot of our special day and we will cherish these memories forever.

  Sameer and Sonia are incredible. Many people have told us that they have never seen such nice wedding photos. The incredible thing is that despite the gorgeous photos they were not intrusive at all. In fact, I barely remember them being there. They were willing to work without our budget, were fun, and made us comfortable in front of the camera. Hiring them was the best decision we made for our wedding...I can't recommend them enough.

  I am so happy I picked Sameer and Sonia to be our photographers for my wedding! They were great to work with and very professional. Our wedding photos came out BEAUTIFUL and our album was even more AMAZING! I would recommend them to anyone!

  I can't even express in words the great joy I felt after seeing the beautiful photos Sameer and Sonia Soorma captured at our event! My husband texted me from work and said, "All I have to say is one thing .... I smile every picture I look at. They deserve to get the best photographers award!" Every shot was simply perfection! Their artistic ability and creativity is evident in every picture. You know the photographer has done a great job when all your friends on Facebook change their profile picture to one from the event. Not only are they great photographers, but by far the most professional vendor I dealt with for my wedding. They were always very responsive to our questions, flexible and willing to accommodate in any way possible, and truly made us feel like family. We hosted a dinner party last night and displayed the photos via a slideshow for our family and friends. Our grandfather stated, "Every picture is so lovely, you can't stop looking at them!"   I can't imagine why anyone would choose someone other than Sameer as their photographer. Sameer and his brother Sahil did an AMAZING job capturing each night of our wedding festivities. Sameer did our engagement shoot, and his brother Sahil shot out wedding. Their photos captured every detail and told the story of our wedding along the way. If you are having a South Asian wedding, I particularly recommend these two because they know exactly what moments are most important and don't need to be told anything. Sameer was always responsive to our requests and willing to help out in any way that he could. Highly, highly recommend them!!

  We are very happy to have used Sameer Soorma Photography for our wedding in April. It was a pleasure working with him and his wife. Not only do they have the professionalism we were looking for, but their work is absolutely amazing and artistic. Were we to do it all over again, Sameer Soorma Photography is still the ones we'd call!

  They say that the photos are the only part of your wedding that you will see for the rest of your life. So I spend days and met with dozens of photographers for my big day. The wedding was in Cali and the reception was in AZ next day. I wasn't just looking for quality work but also wanted a photographer that makes me feel comfortable on my big day and is pleasure to be around. Because you spend more time w/ your photographer on your wedding day than your spouse :) The best qualities about Sameer is that he is very patient, friendly, professional and organized. It's amazing how passionate he is about photography.

  Sameer is an excellent photographer. He did a great job capturing our wedding weekend and we are very happy with how the photos turned out. The photos were delivered in a timely manner which was nice.
  
  Sameer was relatively new to videography when we hired him. Overall, it was a decent video but it wasn't as magical as highlight videos that we have seen from other videographers. The main problem though was how long it took to deliver. We received the highlight video 16 months after our event! It's weird posting a highlight video on Facebook 16 months after your wedding.
  
  Full Video: It required a lot of editing on our end because there were numerous audio/video syncing issues in the first version. We had to provide him a list of edits that were needed. The editor did not make these edits properly so we had to provide another list of edits. As a customer, we shouldn't be responsible for providing a list of technical issues with the video. Each revision took multiple months to complete. We received the original version 5 months after our event and the final product 11 months later for a total of 16 months!
  
  Album: The first version of the album was good but we wanted to change the placement of the photos. We felt that there should be a certain flow to the photos so we ended up redesigning the album. We received the final album 26 months after our wedding!
  
  Sameer was great before and during the event. He was very nice, friendly, professional, and responsive. After the wedding weekend, his professionalism tapered. It would take multiple emails before I could get a response. He would also keep making false promises on when he would have the products ready for us.
  
  I would definitely hire him for his photos. He is by far the best photographer in Phoenix. I would not recommend him for any other service though.
