    Noah was the best!!!

Noah and his team were amazing!! They made everything so easy and took care of everything!! They offered the best service for all of our guests and even stayed late to help clean up which was beyond amazing! I would recommend Noah and his team to any bride looking for the best bartender available!

    Great Service!

Noah and his team were great to work with on our wedding day. They were incredibly nice and professional, and our guests were quite happy with the drinks. They worked quickly and kept our beverages flowing!

Spend a bit more and look elsewhere - rudest service I've ever experienced

This review has been a long time coming. We were offered some reimbursement but decided to decline the money so we could inform other potential clients about SD Finest so they don’t have to go through what we did. Let me say to begin with SD Finest offered a very competitive price. Perhaps this should have been the first indication that we would not be receiving the “finest” service. Below is a list of the major grievances we had with SD Finest (for which we have plenty of evidence) but let’s say straight off the bat none of these come even slightly close to the shocking emails we received from Noah as a result of our complaints which included him calling ALL of our 150 guests “liars” and “wrong”, It was the rudest email I have ever received from anyone, let alone from someone who received payment in excess of $1500.
    1. Rude staff demanding tips – Well over 40 of our guests told us that the barstaff refused to serve drinks until they paid money into the tip jar. Several guests paid an upfront tip (say $10) for the evening and were later asked for more. While there is a clause in the contract that requires a tip jar, this behavior was unforgivable. Noah branded us and all the guests that told us about this “liars” in an email. He said, “Absolutely none were pressured to tip us. That statement is false”. He continued in a later email, “I WOULD OF FIRED THAT CREW MEMBER ON THE SPOT, if I knew this was happening”. The email was in caps. At the end of the evening the barstaff asked the planners if there was an additional tip for them.
    2. Lateness – We were assured the barstaff would be there two hours beforehand to set up. They did not turn up until the ceremony was about to start. I (the groom) know this because I was out front when they did and was in conversation with our fantastic planners.
    3. Queues/lines and spilled drinks – Because the staff were not ready on time the kegs were not tapped, there were no drinks poured ready for the cocktail hour and people had to wait over half an hour to get a drink. This went on not only for the cocktail hour but for the duration of the reception. When we complained to Noah he told us that our drinks were “very complicated” and took time. Our cocktails of choice were a Gin and Tonic and an Old Fashioned…On top of this, the planners (and several guests!) mentioned drinks being spilled and not cleaned up on the bar. At one stage the planners had to clean up for the barstaff.
    4. Beer – We ordered three kegs of beer. Noah complained that the keg of Coors Lite “was not good. I was all foam even completely chilled/iced. You should request a refund”. Barely any beer was drunk because it was not tapped and iced until the reception had started, despite the beer being delivered by a relative over 2 hours before the start of the ceremony.
    5. Rudeness and follow up emails – The quotes in this review are direct quotes from Noah and the SD Finest team from email correspondence since the wedding. The other vendors we talked to were appalled with the service and said they would rather not work with them again. The botanic gardens lists SD Finest as a preferred vendor. I hope they reconsider. In the following emails (despite my wife and I being honest yet fair) Noah said things like, “Please know that everyone of us worked extremely hard for you all. Even in the rain” and “everything you asked and paid for you received and more”.
I would never consider hiring SD Finest again. Quite frankly the service was substandard, they seemed ill-equipped but most importantly they were rude and the guests noticed. It never rains in San Diego in May but more people seemed concerned on voicing their run-ins with Noah and his crew than they did on mentioning the weather. Please please, spend a little more money and take your business elsewhere.
