  It's a wonderful place to have a wedding. The Sand Dollar Estate made Me and my wife's dreams come true. The owners are a pleasure to work with. There is plenty of room and just a superb setting for the perfect wedding.

  My husband and I had the most incredible wedding celebration at The Sand Dollar Estate. After considering a St. Thomas resort wedding where we would be surrounded by hundreds of random people we didn't know and pay a fortune for "cookie cutter" selections, we stumbled upon the idea of a private villa wedding. Sand Dollar appealed to us for three initial reasons : private beach for our guests to enjoy, a full service house manager, no event fee. We were also immediately drawn to Suzanne and her prompt replies and professionalism. Our expectations were (by a long shot)- exceeded. The customer service that Suzanne, Mike, Monica, and the rest of the staff provide is outstanding. Suzanne was flexible and accommodating from the beginning. Mike supported us and our guests from arrival at the airport to departure, making sure our every need was met and every single worry was resolved. The house was stocked with provisions, for a very reasonable cost we had 2 meals prepared per day (huge convenience), and our guests were able to entertain themselves. As a result, I had the time to deal with wedding prep in the same way I would at a resort, without having to play host at the same time in a private villa. Some examples: The garment steamer was broken - Mike had a brand new one delivered on wedding morning no questions asked. Someone in our family doesn't eat butter - Monica had separate selections prepared for her at every meal. The water toys, privacy, and size of the property make it difficult to want to leave and explore the island. Having the ceremony and reception in one place saved time, effort, and money for both us, our vendors, and our guests. Pre arrival, Suzanne provides you endless resources and references to plan your stay.
  
  Everyone was wonderful and our wedding was perfection. The Sand Dollar experience is pure luxury, a once in a lifetime experience for many. We know without doubt we made the right choice and will cherish the memories for a lifetime.

  Sand dollar Estates is amazing. Suzanne is easy to talk to and easy to do business with. Also bob is amazing as well. Great property and exceptional service. The views are out of a magazine and the property is well maintained. Thank you all for an amuasing experience and amazing service. We will see you soon.

  Sand Dollar Estate on St. Thomas, VI is DAZZLING! Check out the mesmerizing photos on their site, and try envisioning that it's even more magical! This Caribbean estate boasts 2 private villas (9 bedrooms total) set on a 2.5 acre estate along pristine shoreline of WORLD-ACCLAIMED MAGENS BAY.
  
  According to Fodor's, "[Sand Dollar Estate] has plenty of room for entertaining, making it ideal for family reunions and weddings. The real 'wow' here is the white-sand beach 35-foot from your door." Actually, there are TWO PRIVATE white-sand beachES! There's a good reason why the Clintons vacationed here when Bill was President, along with a whole host of other politicians and celebrities, too!
  
  And then there's the amazing owner, who told my fiancé via phone that we could rent the estate on a particular (available) week. Thereafter, my fiancé & I were in the process of checking with friends/family when (let's just say some very IMPORTANT people) asked her if they could rent it that same week! She called and asked if we could switch weeks, but we couldn't (due to the set seasonal work schedule of my moh). The owner told us not to worry --that she had given us her word, and so she was going to keep it. WHAT?!? What business owner in this day and age honors their word --we had not yet put money down or signed anything...not even a written email concerning our phone agreement! The integrity of Sand Dollar's owner speaks volumes not only about her, but also about the property she owns. SAND DOLLAR IS EVERYTHING IT SEEMS TO BE AND MORE, AND THE PHOTOS DON'T DO IT JUSTICE!
  
  Next is Bob, the property manager. He's the nicest guy! Sand Dollar hosts A LOT OF WEDDINGS, and Bob's a limitless resource! He saved the day when I left some stuff to the last minute (that I shouldn't have)...but Bob fixed it all with a calm, no problem, easy breezy attitude that in itself put us at ease! For the accomplished manager he is, and also for the person he is, WE LOVE BOB! LOVE HIM

  Heaven on Earth!! Wedding week of a lifetime! Suzanne & her staff were a pleasure to work with and ensured our stay at the Sand Dollar Estate was top notch!!! I'd HIGHLY recommend having a wedding at the estate/ vacation!! I miss it so much already and can't wait to go back!!

  Long-over due review!

  Preface: This is an embarrassingly long-overdue, but well-deserved review! My husband and I were married in April 2016 at the Sand Dollar Estate and it was absolutely the best extended week-long celebration of our dreams! Yes, we shelled out for a rather large price tag, but it was worth every penny to have our own private beach for the ceremony, gorgeous house for the reception, and lodging for our family all in one place! (Friends stay in other nearby locations.) Suzanne and the Sand Dollar Team were wonderfully attentive to our every need and still, nearly three years later, this life event is one of the highlights of our friends and family largely to this magical location! 10/10 would recommend! You will not regret choosing this venue! It is wonderfully unique and beautiful!

  If you want to book a destination wedding this is the place to do it! You seriously will not get a better location, staff, house, or people to book through. From the very beginning Suzanne was incredibly responsive and alleviated a lot of the pressure when trying to plan a wedding abroad. Then once on the Island Suzanne's staff, Bob, Edmund, and Monica were the best thing ever. Bob ran errands for our entire group (including a few trips to get more booze), Edmund drove our entire group whenever and wherever they wanted, and Monica cooked for our entire group very delicious meals throughout the week. Plus, did I mention that you are staying at a house with your own private beach on Megans Bay? It does not get any better than that. The Sand Dollar and Little Sand Dollar had everything you could every need and the rooms were spacious and absolutely beautiful. If you able to book this house for your wedding you are truly one lucky person!
  
  We had our ceremony right on the beach and took pictures with everyone at the house and then went to the Blue Orchid for the reception. I absolutely loved everything about my wedding and would not change a single thing. Almost a year later it is still what all of my guests are talking about!
