    Friendly, professional and versatile!

    Sarah Jane was able to groom my dad and son so their beards looked great on my sons wedding day. My very picky husband was thrilled with his haircut. Sarah Jane worked a miracle on my mother’s hair. Her hair is very thin and she gave her beautiful volume. Our make up was perfect and natural. Folks comments regarding my hair and make up. I was a rare classic beauty! Sarah Jane is a rare find!!!

    Exceptional experience

    Sarah Jane did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup. She helped me decide what would look the best with the look I was going for and was patient with all the changes from Covid.

    Excellent!

    Words cannot describe Sarah Jane. I used her hair and make up services for a wedding. She was prompt, flexible, considerate, knowledgeable, and just a joy to talk to about anything. What I liked about her services was that she was open to change and wanted you to be happy with your look. She was easy to communicate with over text and was able to meet me at my hotel in order to make my pictures in time. At the very end she asked the other bridesmaids if they wanted anything before she left and charged a very fair amount for false lashes. Just blown away by her and I will definitely be using her services again.

    Vision brought to life

    Sarah did an absolutely amazing job on all my wedding party’s hair styles but she did a phenomenal job on my bridal hair! The morning of my wedding I still was undecided of exactly how I wanted my hair done and Sarah was patient and helped me make my decision. She was spot on with my hair and it was exactly what I envisioned for my big day. I received compliments the entire night of how amazing my hair looked! Thank you so much Sarah for helping to make my dreams come true and complete my look for my wedding! I highly recommend Sarah for your bridal party needs!

    What a beautiful experience!

    Sarah Jane Salon, Omg love her! She takes the time to truly listen to your desired results for all your beauty needs. (Hair cut, color, make up, lashes etc.) She gave me a beautiful balayage that lasted way longer then I originally expected, and helped me with picking out the right shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments to keep the desired look. She is amazing! ♥♥♥

    Sarah is professional and is super knowledgeable in her services! If she doesn’t know the answers she will find you the answers and resources you need for your special day! She did my trial run for my bridal shower and did a great job!

    Wedding Frustration

    I hired Sarah for my September wedding and I started experiencing difficultly in communicating with Sarah after my first hair trial. I was in a contract with her and I couldn’t get my money back. I came with pictures to my hair trial but she barely looked at them and didn’t ask questions. The high bun hairstyle didn’t match the pictures at all. I requested for a second hair trial, which she made me pay for again. Sarah said she didn’t feel confident in fulfilling my hairstyle and she said she would find someone else that could complete my look. She became very difficult to communicate with after my first trial. She ghosted me for a full month and I tried every which way to get in contact with her. I emailed, called, and texted and I got no response. I finally wrote on her IG media story and she responded instantly because it shows the read receipts. I became very disappointed with the lack of professionalism she had. I eventually had to book myself an appointment online for my second hair trial since she could not get me on her schedule.
    During my second trial she created a google spreadsheet for our hair and make-up schedule for wedding day. She said I had access to it and I could change it if need be. I printed it out to give to my photographer so they could make their schedule. Without my knowledge days before my wedding Sarah changed our start time. Our original agreement was 8 am. She changed it for our hairstylists to come in at 9 am and for herself to come in at 10:30 am. She arrived 2 hours late the day of my wedding and didn’t communicate that she was going to be late. I had to call her and ask what was going on. She informed me when she got to the venue that she double booked herself another wedding and was completing their make-up. I was astonished that she would even consider moving my wedding start time to fulfill another wedding while throughout the whole experience she kept reassuring me that my wedding was a priority. The day of my wedding she didn’t apply eyelashes to one of my bridesmaids and she was sitting on her phone when I felt like she could have been helping her other employees. Overall, I would not recommend Sarah for a wedding. She didn’t have good professionalism or basic communication skills.

    Hannah, that’s simply not true. I don’t appreciate you slandering my business after my team and I perform exceptional services for your wedding day and throughout the entire experience, from start to end. I went above and beyond and you don't even appreciate it. I believe your exceptions of how I ran my business are much different from reality. I need you to respect my talents and how I ran my business. When I asked you how I could resolve this bad review, you asked for money back and were completely unwilling to listen to my side of the story. I’m sorry to inform you. I won’t be giving you money back for services you were happy with when my team and I left. Do you go back to a restaurant you ate at 2 weeks ago asking for your money back cause they were busy that night? You just don't.

    I am a professional business and I expect to be treated like one and my team of artists who assist me.

    Here's my side of the story

    I communicated with your mother first who filled out your wedding form and contracts months before you ever spoke to me. It's not normal to go over everything with you on your trail run, the first time I met you. We spent 20-30 minutes go over forms and Pinterest of your desired photos. You weren’t pleased with the 1st trial of hair but loved your bridal makeup trial. So since I felt like I could complete your requests for bridal hair. It’s normal to find another artist on my team to accommodate your request for a high bun hairstyle. That’s my job! I never ghosted you. I communicated to you that I was finding an artist to complete your requests. I needed you to have patience as I was fulfilling your request that you paid me for. You were impatient and had to message me on every social media including text, email, and phone. One message would have been enough. I don’t have time to retell you that I’m working on your request as fast as one person humanly can. As I’m expanding and growing my business, you were requesting more attention than I could give during my busiest season. I’m sorry you felt that way that I was ignoring you or wasn't doing my job but that's simply not true. I hired a personal assistant and social media manager which required me to train them in. On your wedding date, I was down a team member who has Covid. I believe my team and I handled everything professionally and on time for your wedding. Do not lie. Your request for an earlier time was denied because the venue opens at 9 am. I was in full communication with my artists and you about having another wedding that same morning. I even spoke with you and let you know my GPS the day of and when to expect me by. I feel comfortable taking more than one wedding in a day if services, location, artist, and timeline allow. I don’t think it’s your place to tell me I can’t book another wedding on your date or how to run my business. You are hiring me to perform services. I don’t think you understood what my job was. I am allowed to be on my phone and communicate with my artists at other weddings that are working for me. I am a manager on duty, professional boss, and lead of my team. I am allowed to sit back and wait for my artists to finish up services. If they wanted my help, they’d ask me. I have full trust and faith in my artists to complete the task I ask them to do. Why can't you? You are hiring me to find the most talented, professionally licensed, and certified artist to do a job. I would never take an additional client that I assigned for my artist. They are allowed enough time to perform that service. I average faster since I’ve been doing this for many years and continuously keep up with my education/ trends and speed. This is the truth.
