Sarah and her assistant Nick did such a fantastic job capturing our special wedding day! They managed to really tell a beautiful story in the photos they took. The photoset really brings a smile to my face and makes it so easy to jump back into the memory of each specific moment.
Sarah was great with communication throughout the planning. She set up a meeting beforehand to go over logistics and more importantly, checked in to see how we pictured the photos, asking us questions to really get to know who we were, and our personalities. In addition, she had us fill out a form closer to the wedding date, to ensure that she wasn’t missing anything. I loved her suggestions too for family photos - it made the process so easy for posed photos!
And on our wedding day itself, Sarah and Nick balanced well between acting as if they weren’t there (so my husband and I could act more naturally), and guiding us to specific locations for photos, all while answering to both my specific requests that came up and guest requests! A huge multi-tasking feat. Thank you SO MUCH, Sarah and Nick for your amazing work. -

Sarah was great to work with. We initially met over video call to meet with her and she got a feel for our wedding style and what we were looking for in terms of which photo ops had the highest priority. Day of, she and another photographer met at our respective getting ready locations and then continued to document our day with great professionalism and timeliness. We got all the important shots (portraits) and the candids were great as well. Lots of pictures of happy faces. We included our dogs for our ceremony and we can't thank Sarah enough for her patience in getting them to look in the direction of the camera. Overall great work and lovely pics. Thanks, Sarah! -

Sarah is such a great photographer! She captured great photos and memories that we will keep forever! She is very receptive to answering our questions and responding to our emails at a timely manner. She provided great advice and insight so that our photos would turn out amazing. She was also very accommodating when we asked for specific photos to be taken. She is amazing and great to work with! -

Sarah was fantastic to work with! She even helped out during our elopement planning process. Communication was always timely and efficient with her. On the day of, Sarah was super easy to get along with and made us feel relaxed in front of the camera. The photos came out great, I couldn't recommend her more! -

Working with Sarah was such a lovely experience! Before our mini ceremony she took the extra time to really get to know us and try to understand what we were looking for out of our photos. She asked us questions like our favorite things about each other, how we view ourselves as a couple, and whether we have any insecurities about how we look in photos, and she even took the extra time to scout locations near the venue before the big day. Although we only met her in person once, she stepped into the wedding day hubbub seamlessly, and it felt easy to be ourselves around her. While we were naturally tired by the end of the day, it was so worth it - Sarah's photos captured the energy and warmth of that day perfectly! We're so pleased with how everything came out. Between Sarah's sweet personality, professionalism, and talent, we'd recommend her any day! -

Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with for our elopement. I can't fully express just how much fun she was and how well she captured the love my husband and I have for one another. We did not have any guests present, and at times I would forget that because she felt like one of our friends! I'm so happy that we chose her to capture the start of our lives together. Maybe in a few years she'll be open to maternity/baby sessions! :) -

Our wedding photos turned out amazing. Sarah is so nice and paid close attention to every detail on our wedding day. I love her artistic approach and she captured key moments perfectly. I'm so glad I chose Sarah Rittenour Photography. Sarah was efficient and didn't add any unnecessary wedding-day pressure. She captured all of the pictures I wanted and then some; this was probably due to her being on site for about 10-12 hours. Also, as someone who doesn't like being in front of the camera, having Sarah as our photographer made it really easy! -

We contacted tons of photographers, but Sarah was the only one who was interested in hearing our story and what we were really looking for in our photos. This made all the difference in the world because our pictures turned out beyond perfect and she captured the way we look at each other so incredibly, which was extremely important to us. She recommended the time of our ceremony so we could get the perfect lighting. I would absolutely recommend Sarah to ANYONE who would like high-quality photos that don't just look pretty but also capture the love between two people and the emotions that you experience on your wedding day.
