Sarah is absolutely amazing. We worked with Sarah to shoot our engagement session, rehearsal dinner and wedding. She captured every moment beautifully and was a pure joy to work with. We had never taken professional photos before but Sarah made us feel very comfortable from the get go. She is also a great director and really knew how to get the best out of us and our family and friends. She is extremely friendly toward everyone she interacts with - all of our guests were raving about how great our photographer was. We had such a great experience with Sarah as our photographer for our Santa Barbara elopement! In additional to amazing photos, she was so helpful and informative answering all of my questions about how the courthouse wedding appointments work and gave a ton of great recommendations for things to consider while planning. Her knowledge and experience gave me confidence going into the day and allowed us to have such a relaxing and great experience despite this being our first time getting professional photos done. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos done, and she made us feel so comfortable immediately. From my first conversation with her, to the actual photo shoots, she was so friendly, professional, and talented! She shot engagement photos for us at the beach, we brought our pup which could have been chaotic, but Sarah guided us and the pup to capture us in our element so perfectly. Sarah was an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I were so lucky to have her be part of our special day. Sarah is truly the perfect mix of everything you would want in a photographer: she’s easy going, she makes you laugh and be comfortable in front of a camera (and I’m super camera shy!). But she also knows how to take the lead – she’ll tell you how to pose and knows how to get large groups into formation for photos.

Sarah is seriously the best, I can’t stress that enough. She was very easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable. I usually feel awkward in front of a camera but I immediately felt like I could be myself with her! We had so much fun. The pictures were absolutely perfect. I seriously do not have enough good things to say about Sarah. Not only did she make our elopement photo experience so enjoyable and FUN (despite some camera shyness!), I’m absolutely obsessed with the photos - she perfectly captured every moment, was efficient in her delivery of our gallery, and I love every single one!!! Sarah did an amazing job being our elopement photographer! Not only did the photos come out great, but her planning and direction were top notch. She is very knowledgeable about where and when to take photos on the Santa Barbara Courthouse lawn. She took charge in making sure people stepped out of photos being taken of us. Sarah did great directing us where/how to stand and pose. We never felt hesitant because she had such great control of the allotted appointment time. I can't stress how great it was to work with Sarah. Planning a wedding (elopement or otherwise) is beyond stressful and she made our day SO much better. We're never in front of a camera (have no idea how to pose - what do you do with your HANDS?!) but she guided us every step of the way. She was able to command my family (like herding cats) and knew the ins and outs of the courthouse process. She essentially became our wedding planner for the day too, bless her. Aside from her insane talent she is easygoing and funny and I'm sad I don't live in SB anymore and won't see her around. You 100% get what you pay for and Sarah is worth it all. -

Sarah is absolutely amazing !!! My husband and I loved working with Sarah. She is straightforward, a great source of knowledge, full of experience, organized, easy to collaborate/plan over the phone, and overall so fun and sweet. Our wedding day was perfect - everything went so smoothly and we had tons of time to enjoy the party. The pictures were delivered relatively quickly compared to what I’ve heard from other brides. And they were absolutely beautiful and more than we could ever ask for. My husband and I highly recommend. Definitely worth it! -

Sarah is the perfect wedding photographer. She’s a joy to be around, she’s prompt in her responsiveness, and she creates the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen! My husband and I were blown away with the 1000s of high quality photos we got of not only ourselves but of our friends and family too. She’s so prompt with editing too! We got our entire album of photos less than 1 month after the wedding.

My fiance hired Sarah for a surprise proposal photoshoot and a 1-hour engagement session after. Every step of the way, Sarah was excellent! She was quick to respond to my fiance and coordinated everything seamlessly. Once I arrived at the spot, she was discreet to not ruin the surprise. When we finally met for the longer shoot, I was instantly at ease. Taking engagement pictures is awkward- posing, PDA, being overly excited about everything- and Sarah was great at handling everything! She was easy to talk to, had tons of great ideas, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. From making sure I could handle certain types of terrain in my shoes... -

Sarah did an AMAZING JOB with our maternity photoshoot. Location was clear, inspo for clothing was shared beforehand, and she was super flexible in also including our loving dogs 🥹 she also surprised us and delivered our photos earlier than expected on MOTHERS DAY! My only complaint is that she lives far away from me:( otherwise I’d hire her way more often for family sessions. THANK YOU SARAH!!! -

I get choked up trying to come up with words to review our elopement photos with Sarah. From the very beginning she made everything easy and exciting. She is so talented behind the lense as well as with people in general. If you are considering booking with her, just do it.
