  Our wedding planning and wedding day was filled with joy and ease, for Trenard and Savvy Orchid's professionalism, timeliness, and creativity helped us have our dream wedding. Four months after our wedding day, we are still talking about and enjoying the memories of the entertainment, flowers, music, decor, food, drinks and overall experience with our friends and family, for many of them say it's the "best wedding I have ever been to".   Excellent and thoughtful team!

  Even though I felt like I had most of my wedding planning taken care of, I knew that I needed someone to manage everything on the day of my wedding. Trenard and his team offered to work with me for day-of support on my wedding day, but in reality they did SO much more, going above and beyond to help make sure everything went smoothly LONG before my wedding weekend. Trenard made sure we had regular meetings/calls leading up to the big day; he made sure that we had plenty of options to consider for vendors we were still trying to figure out; having an interfaith ceremony, he helped make sure that one important part that was hard to pull off actually happened; when my toddler nephew demanded milk while our ceremony was taking place, Trenard swept in like a super hero (and no-one even knew that my nephew ever even had a little tantrum!); when I was trying on my dress prior to the wedding day, we noticed a string of beads coming undone, and his team immediately helped fix it on the spot. I could share so many more examples of how attentive, thoughtful, professional, and incredible Trenard and his team are. I'm also sure there's more that I don't know that he took care of behind the scenes. Savvy Orchid is a team that you can trust. Not only do they pay great attention to details and are very caring along the way, they are a really fun and sweet group!

  Trenard and his team really helped guide my husband and I from our initial concepts to a wedding that I have to say is the envy of our friends.

  I would highly recommend Savvy Orchid to anyone planning a wedding or an event. They were easy to work with and the best part is they were able to take the different ideas and visions my husband and I had and guide them into a cohesive, fun, and memorable evening. I would do it all over again (but I won’t! :)

  A lifesaver and the best decision we made

  Working with Savvy Orchid turned out to be the best decision we made during our whole wedding planning process. Trenard provided the perfect balance between providing ideas and inspiration while also letting us do our own thing. He created a great team with the people that we selected, regardless of whether or not he'd recommended them (florals, decor, etc...) or whether we found them on our own (venue, catering, etc...). In one instance, he found a small detail (an incorrect date) in one of our catering contracts that, if he hadn't noticed it, would have resulted in our rehearsal dinner not having any actual food. His day-of support was invaluable. Our families loved him and he let us all relax while making sure everything went smoothly and on time. We can't recommend Savvy Orchid enough and still can't believe the value that we got for everything we received.

  Savvy Orchid created an absolutely perfect wedding and wedding weekend. Trenard Laurentis was a true pleasure to work with, got to know us, helped design the perfect look and feel for our wedding (from our suits to music to beautiful decor to the ceremony itself), kept us on task throughout, had helpful relationships with the best hotel, caterer, and florist teams, and kept us fully informed of budget and costs throughout. We were a mid-size wedding, but Trenard treated us like his most important clients. The wedding exceeded our every expectation, and we could not be more grateful. Many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and we could not agree more.

  Trenard from Savvy Orchid is absolutely, hands down, the best wedding coordinator EVER. He was the day of coordinator for my wedding in Atlanta, Georgia and he was just a God-send. Prior to the wedding we had had several telephone conversations and emailed back and forth discussing wedding weekend details, concerns, needs, wishes, must haves, etc. Trenard came into town the weekend of the wedding and went above and beyond mines and my husband's expectations. He was incredibly helpful in so many ways and we don't know what we would have done without him. The day of the wedding, he was there to calm my nerves, keep us on schedule, corral guests and vendors, to reassure me that everything was fine, and to bring me food and water when I needed it, and the list goes on.   My partner Daniel & I got engaged on January 1, 2014 and Trenard helped us plan the wedding of our dreams in just 9 months. From the start, we told him we didn't want a traditional wedding and were opting out of a lot of typical wedding traditions, such as first song, wedding party, seated dinner, and even cake. We wanted a simple, rustic afternoon reception style with a brief ceremony for 100 guests and plenty to drink and heavy hors d'oeuvres followed by assorted pies.
  
  Trenard was absolutely great to work with. Fun, responsive, full of ideas and advice. As the day got closer, he remained in constant contact with us and our vendors making sure everything was in check. The day of went flawless. We had one of our favorite local bars as a venue and with the help of Trenard and Chris (his colleague) they completely transformed it into our perfect "Rustic in the City" setting. I loved that they both also made sure to constantly bring us water, wine whatever we needed without even having to ask. Another thing that stood out was that even though we did not do a cake or cake cutting ceremony, Chris had two pieces of pie brought to us before guests, something he made note of at our last meeting a week prior. It's stressful planning events - especially weddings - but Trenard and his team made it fun and personal. We want to do it all over again!

  My husband and I were having a gay wedding in Northern Michigan. Trenard worked with us from the beginning and was an invaluable resource. He made the entire weekend a success through his professionalism, creativity, and dedication to perfection. We couldn't have had a better wedding weekend.

  Savvy Orchid planned our outdoor, destination wedding for about 100 guests. Every detail - from food to decor - was flawlessly executed. Our guests continue to rave about the ceremony and reception. Trenard incorporated both of our styles and ideas into the wedding. He negotiated our agreements with vendors, and he shared tips/suggestions throughout the planning process. Our meetings were collaborative, punctual, and fun - which were very important characteristics to us when considering a wedding planner. We would highly recommend Savvy Orchid to anyone planning a wedding or event!

  Trenard from Savvy Orchid was the crown jewel of our wedding planning experience. Not only did he help us make our vision a reality, he helped us craft our vision and translate our hopes and dreams into a beautiful wedding. We would not have made it through the process without him. I would say that he was worth every penny, but he wasn't. He was worth five times every penny.

  Savvy Orchid planned my destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica at Round Hill Resort and Spa. They dealt with every detail from corresponding with the resort and the various vendors in Jamaica to implementing my vision for my beach-style wedding. Hiring Savvy Orchid was the best money we spent and well worth every penny!

Being crafty, "Type A" brides who like to plan events and parties, we worked closely with Trenard to bring our vision to life. Months before our wedding, we met a handful of times to review where we were in the planning process and set goals for the coming weeks. Trenard always had a check-list and reminded us of things we forgot or had not even considered. He also helped review vendor contracts throughout the bidding process.
