The moment you meet Jules, you know she's something special. Her work speaks for itself - she captures you at the most honest and happy times in your life and it truly shows! Jules is so dynamic and brings this energy that eases any anxiety, helps to make you feel most comfortable, and feels like you're hanging out with your bestie. From our engagement shoot to the actual wedding day, I was thrilled to have Jules with us every step of the way. Additionally, her preparation and expertise is top notch. Based on our needs and the details she gathers, she builds a perfect timeline that I then extended across the day. Her vision of the day was really the backbone of our planning and execution. And when we were having so much fun on the dance floor, she didn't hesitate to stay a bit longer to capture even more goodness. I will sing her praises until I'm blue in the face. But for now, I'm going to relish in all of the gorgeous moments she captured!! -

Jules did our engagement photos in Salem, MA, and captured our special moment incredibly!! She is an amazingly talented photographer who truly loves what she does and it shows in her work! She was kind, professional, and such a pleasure to be around! She made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and we had an amazing time throughout the whole process! My fiance and I are so grateful to have found her to capture this special time in our lives! We cherish our photos with everything in our hearts. Best photographer EVER!
If you are thinking about booking Jules as your wedding photographer-DO IT. I am so happy with all of my wedding photos—the only part of the day that we’ll have forever. From the moody, fall portraits to the madness on the dance floor, Jules was able to capture my day perfectly. In addition to her amazing work, Jules is the absolute best hype woman and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day. She ends up feeling like another friend at the wedding! She is definitely one of the best decisions I could have made for my wedding! -

My Fiancé and I had the immense pleasure of having Jules as our photographer for our engagement party, and it was nothing short of a fantastic experience.
From the moment we met Jules (and her team of 2 other wonderful photographers), her vibrant and fun attitude was contagious. She was not just a photographer hired for the event, but quickly became part of our celebration. Her ability to blend in and capture candid moments was impeccable. The photos she delivered were not only abundant in quantity but also incredible - Jules made sure to capture all of our family and closest friends in our album and she somehow got photos of EVERYONE, too (around 400 guests!).
On top of being such a pleasure to work with and delivering such amazing photos, I HAVE to mention that Jules went above and beyond by coming to our afterparty, which was not expected of her by any means. It's rare to find someone like Jules - her dedication to capturing every aspect of our celebration was evident.
To say Jules over-delivered would be an understatement. The pictures were delivered promptly, each one a testament to her skill and attention to detail. They are memories we will treasure forever, captured beautifully thanks to Jules' incredible talent.
If you're looking for a photographer who is not only talented but also brings a positive, fun energy to your event, Jules is the perfect choice. Jules may be more pumped about your wedding day than you are! She epitomizes professionalism, talent and organization. Highly recommend using Jules for your engagement shoot as well. It was so much fun getting to know her and she is someone who was MEANT to be in the wedding industry. Her energy and positivity is contagious, and she is the definition of a girl boss. You can truly see how serious she takes her job and how much passion she has for what she does. Her photography skills are magical…I knew that from the first moment I creeped on Scarlet Roots Instagram page. Jules genuinely wants to get to know her couples on a personal level and will make sure no matter what (weather or imperfections), you have the best day of your life. She can make the most awkward person comfortable in front of the camera and have a blast when doing so. When deciding which vendors you should prioritize, please look no further if Jules has your wedding date available. Picking Jules as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding! She managed to keep our giant bridal party on schedule the whole day, while radiating such positive energy and joy the entire time. Jules was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. We knew we wanted her to photograph our wedding and reached out prior to even being engaged. My husband and I were so happy with our choice and have raved about her since our first meeting. She is so thorough, fun to work with, and truly lead the way for us to have a perfect wedding day. Not only did she outline how the entire day would run, but she was a complete hype girl for us (which was great because otherwise we tend to be a little camera shy). We got a great subset of our photos within days and the full set of photos within a month. We can’t get over how amazing they are. They captured who we are as a couple and really embodied the feel of our wedding day. You can tell that Jules loves her job and enjoys every step of the process with you. We feel so lucky to have had Jules photograph our wedding day and will be forever grateful for her beautiful work. -

Amazing engagement session
I've been low key stalking Jules on IG for a few years. When we (finally) got engaged my fiancé immediately asked if we were going to get photos taken by Scarlet Roots. Jules was amazing to work with. She was timely with responses and communication. She made us feel comfortable and was so patient with me in heels during our session (I swear the pandemic threw off my heel game). We absolutely love our engagement photos. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything Jules! -

Jules is a GEM
When it comes to amazing people, Jules is at the top. She’s unbelievably talented, has a naturally gifted eye for beautiful shots, goes above and beyond and is the most pleasant person in the world to be around. You cannot feel stress or unhappiness when in her presence. It’s not possible. Her photos and the way she captures moments, is something award winning. I could and would never recommend going to anyone else, but her, for your big day. -

Jules was our photographer for our September 2022 Boston Public Library wedding and she was FANTASTIC! Her energy and professionalism was great both when we were planning and onsite. She was easy to work with and very responsive. We were very specific with the style of photos that we wanted and she delivered beyond our dreams. She also agreed to shoot some film as well, which are some of our favorites from the day. She made sure to capture everything on the shot list and delivered a whopping 200 sneak peeks! She delivered our full gallery in less than a month, which was unexpectedly amazing. We would recommend her to anyone. -

Hiring Jules was far-and-away the best wedding decision we could've made. She was actually the first vendor we booked after booking our venue because we could not let her get booked up with someone else! I found her by looking through photos of #capecodweddingphotographer on Instagram and EVERY.SINGLE.PHOTO I clicked that I loved was Jules'! We booked her for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. For our engagement shoot, she made us both feel so comfortable right from the start (especially since neither of us have much posing experience). It honestly felt like we were just hanging with a friend. For our wedding, she made me feel totally relaxed and at ease and was just so easy to work with. Her bubbly-yet-chill presence was such a gift on such a chaotic day. Not to mention, her pictures are truly art. I'm just sad our wedding is over so we don't have a reason to hire her again! -

She’s the ultimate hype woman, your instant bff, and the best person to have with you on the best day ever!
Jules is the absolute best! From the moment I found her featured on a Brides.com article, which was my wedding planning Bible, I knew I had to work with her. We inquired on her beautiful and informative website and got in touch with her in no time. From the first consultation to the delivery of our full wedding gallery (which was an amazing surprise because it came way sooner than expected), we were blown away with how kind and passionate Jules is about her work and the people she works with! She’s the ultimate hype woman, your instant bff, and the best person to have with you on the best day ever!
Jules made my husband and I, two people who can be a bit awkward in front of a camera feel so comfortable, relax and just focus on each other. Our first adventure together was our engagement photo session in Beacon Hill and BPG. She knew all the great spots and really helped us have fun with it. We were even able to include our dogs in some photos! Then on the day of the wedding, the second Jules arrived in the bridal suite the energy lifted. Photos of me and my husband, family portraits, and with the wedding party never felt daunting. They were quick and easy! We spent 10 fun and effortless hours with Jules. She really felt like another friend at our wedding! She was so kind to all of our family and friends and everyone loved her too!
Aside from Jules’ kindness, energy, and talent, her professionalism is top notch. We felt completely taken care of from the moment we signed Jules on to our wedding team! She even provided suggestions for other vendors, which I found extremely helpful. I put my full trust in her! She worked so well with my wedding coordinator and other vendors too. She also worked with us to make sure we had enough time with her on our day so we wouldn’t feel rushed. We are so thankful we were able to add on time from what we originally booked. Some of our favorite photos are the sunset photos while having a moment to ourselves during the reception. Jules was incredibly accommodating, kind, an expert at her craft, and just, like I said before, the best!
We will be forever grateful to Jules for being a part of our big day and the journey leading up to it! -

Hiring Jules for our elopement was the best decision we could've made! She was great about accomodating our date and always available for questions. The experience of shooting with her was very relaxed. She made us feel at ease and was great at capturing genuine moments. We had the BEST experience with Scarlet Roots for our engagement photos! Jules made us both feel so comfortable posing for the photographs even though we had no idea what we were doing and my fiancé is very awkward with PDA! Not to mention, the communication was always prompt and smooth, the turn around timeline for receiving photos was exactly as she stated it would be, and the pricing was very fair for a photographer of her caliber. We just absolutely love how our photos turned out and we are so excited to share them with friends and family. We highly recommend working with Jules!
