Schlitterbahn South Padre Beach Resort Reviews

My husband and I were very happy with our venue we had our ceremony & reception at the Sea 4 Ever venue which is the rooftop at the resort we completely fell in love with it everything was perfect the day of the staff was such a great help ! Marisa was such a big part of our wedding she helped us out every step of the way she goes above and beyond for you to make sure that you are happy ! She was such a big help through the whole wedding process and the day of she was amazing she even served us and got our drinks for us made sure everything ran smoothly I have so much appreciation for her and am grateful that she was the one that helped us because she makes sure you have your dream wedding ! Great place to have your wedding !!!

We got married at the Sea4Ever restaurant venue at Schlitterbahn Beach Resort. The venue is an open-air restaurant on the fifth floor and is huge! We worked with Marisa in group sales from the beginning, and she was incredible. She was responsive throughout the planning process, she helped us block rooms and get a great rate for our guests, she let us decorate the venue the day before and even lent me her steamer to steam the linens. Marisa and Samantha were fully involved from the time we got to the island on Wednesday and helped us bring the wine up to the venue, directed the employees during set up, gave our guests a fantastic vacation and even served my husband's grandparents, so they didn't have to wait in the buffet line. When the reception started, they moved the uplighting around the dance floor and stayed through part of the reception to make sure everything went off without a hitch. When we got to our room that night, we had two to-go boxes of food from the reception, chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of chilled wine waiting for us. That was really the icing on the cake! Speaking of cake, I had a "fake" cake that was really for pictures and decoration...it ended up melting partly before the wedding and Marisa and Samantha were on it and fixed it. I had no idea about the cake fiasco until far into the reception when it didn't even matter. Thank goodness we had Tres Leches (see food comment below)! We chose the South of the Border buffet, which included beef fajitas, chicken with mango salsa, rice, beans, pico, guacamole, queso, salsa and cheese enchiladas. The buffet also included a choice of Tres Leches cake or cheesecake. Our guests raved about the tres leches, and i'm bummed we were too busy to try it! We got three kegs from the bar and brought our own wine to serve at $5/bottle cork fee.

Everyone I worked with was very helpful. They helped make our wedding an amazing experience for us and all of our guests. The food was delicious and the view from Sea4Ever is the best!
