User1537932 Sent on 02/18/2014I worked with Schwartz Woodward to plan my daughters wedding from the early stages until the reception was over.
JoAnn and John are the most Professional, Wedding Planner Consultants I have worked with.
All of the fine details were done to perfection.
The Vendors were excellent and I was able to relax and enjoy the whole experience.
Her staff is professional and are there for anything and everything we needed on the wedding day.
The organization and flow of the entire wedding was amazing.
Thank you for everything and a memorable event we will never forget!
I would recommend Schwartz Woodward to anyone planning a wedding or a special event.
I will be calling them again for my other daughter's wedding!! -
User1537021 Sent on 02/17/2014JoAnn was excellent from the day we met her! She spent countless hours with us from picking vendors, meeting with vendors, and preparing us for our big day. Her knowledge, insight, and experience were priceless during the months leading up to the wedding. Anytime we felt pressure from vendors we let JoAnn know, and she never hesitated to step in for us to mitigate the situation.
On the day of the wedding JoAnn and her team went above and beyond any of the expectations we had. Making sure vendors were on time, events ran on schedule, and minimized our anxiety as much as possible. What I found even more incredible about JoAnn is that weeks after our wedding she took the time follow up with us to make sure we were happy with our events and received everything we were promised by the vendors.
Having a Indian wedding with multiple celebrations can pose unique challenges. JoAnn was professional, patient, and worked to integrate the needs of both of our families to seamlessly pull off a wedding that our relatives and friends cannot stop talking about months later!
If you want a wedding that will exceed your expectations and wow your guests Schwartz & Woodward is the way to go! -
User1537113 Sent on 02/17/2014JoAnn Woodward (Schwartz & Woodward) is the best event planner in town. Also the other venders she recommended were fantastic and exceeded expectations. Joann starts out as your planner but becomes a trusted friend as well. She patiently worked with my daughter who is picky and has difficulty with decisions. She guided us to the proper venders, those that fit our budget, size wedding etc. When we chose others we always went over budget which in our case was fine but if you have a hard budget she will keep you on it. JoAnn knows her business and if she's in charge you can just sit back and enjoy.
My daughter's wedding day was beyond perfect and exceeded our expectations. Thanks in large part to JoAnn and her team everything ran perfectly and it was the most relaxing day...totally PRICELESS. When I look back it is with so much joy and gratitude to JoAnn. You can't go wrong with JoAnn. She is professional, honest, knowledgable, enthusiastic and you just know you are in good hands. I recommend her completely with no reservations. -

My daughter and I are very organized and could have done it ourselves; however, I wanted it to be a wonderful experience for the entire family, so we hired JoAnne. Everything went so smoothly, she answered all our questions and gave us lots of guidance; but I never felt that she pushed us towards any one vendor. She provided good information and let us make our own decisions. Everyone she recommended was first class to work with and goes way beyond what was expected to provide a wonderful product. JoAnne only recommends quality vendors. A year and one/half later, we are still getting complements on our awesome flowers and gorgeous table linens.
My husband will tell anyone whose daughter has just gotten engaged to use Schwartz & Woodward. He says" They allowed me to enjoy my only daughter's wedding!"
I regret I could only give them 5 stars. They are that great to work with! -
User2511958 Sent on 01/20/2016Schwartz & Woodward Company was the wedding planner for our daughter’s wedding in May 2015. JoAnn and John both owners of the company are very friendly, personable and professional. They have good relationship with most talented and trusted vendors.
I spent a lot time with JoAnn for almost a year since we signed the contract. I did not feel like I was working with a planner, but felt like planning a family member. She is very passionate and puts full effort into what she does. JoAnn joined us for every vendor meeting. We had several meetings (phone and in –person). She arrived to the meetings on time and replied to our emails promptly. One of the things I found impressive was JoAnn’s attentiveness to detail, as well as her response time to all questions we had. She listened to our wishes and turned them into reality.
There were three events, one May 29th and two on May 30th. JoAnn was involved in planning start to finish. John joined on the event days. For each event, John and JoAnn coordinated with each vendor personally and made sure everything was done on time. John was amazingly helpful. He supervised every detail starting from breakfast to end of the reception. He made sure both bride’s and groom’s families had everything needed.
Their staff is also very professional. They were there for anything and everything we needed for all three events. One of them was with the bride and one with me starting from getting ready to all the way to the end of the events.
All three events were meticulously planned and were spectacular. We got several compliments from our friends and relatives. Most importantly, knowing JoAnn and John were there, me and husband could fully enjoy our daughter’s wedding.
I would definitely recommend Schwartz & Woodward to anyone who is planning to have beautiful, flawless and one of a kind wedding.

User1536829 Sent on 02/17/2014They were ok, but awful the day of the wedding! Joann, the main consultate, literally got into a fight with my father as we were waiting to walk down the aisle because she wanted to start the ceremony without my grandparents. They had gotten lost, and were parking the car and literally stood in the line an fought with my father about how the ceremony needed to start. Apparently she refused to wait another 5 minutes. Her and her husband were very anxious and caused all kinds of drama. One of my bridesmaids was looking for a purse she put my hotel room key in (she wanted to decorate the room), and asked her if she saw the purse. Joann freaked out and yelled at another bridesmaid because she thought people were accusing her of stealing. Never happened. She even said she was going to leave the wedding if someone didn't apologize to her. At this point she was so awful people wanted her to just leave. She caused so much drama the day of the wedding. It is their job to make the drama disappear, not cause it.
Even during the planning process she wasn't great. She kept pushing me to use a vendor she prefereed even if I didn't like their work. Even after I would say I don't like it, I want to see something else she kept pushing. At the very least, I wanted to see a couple of vendors to compare product and prices and then make a decision. She kept promising me she would set up the appointments, and kept pushing it off until I had not choice but to go with her vendor. I had to make some of my own appointments and negotiate the contract on my own because she didn't want us using other people. Then when I did sign up with someone else, she would constantly make inappropriate and snide remarks about how she doesn't think it's worth it or she doesn't like their product. Excuse me! I liked them and it was my wedding! The other vendors were phenomenal and the other bad decision I made was her. NOT worth it! Use anybody else!!!!!!
