Ann Marie and Scioto Reserve were so amazing to work with, and she made my wedding day absolutely perfect!! It was so refreshing after meeting with so many vendors to meet with someone young and who really got my vision for my wedding. She was very "on point" in all of our pre-wedding meetings and really went over all our options for us and made sure we really understood everything. She was great in helping plan the flow of the evening. The day of she got everything set up perfectly and I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything besides spending time with my mom and my bridesmaids. The venue speaks for itself....its modern and gorgeous and built for weddings. Our groomsmen really enjoyed the guys "get ready room" with poker table, pool table and flat screens, and the girls enjoyed our practically on site salon. I am so glad we had our wedding here! It was absolute perfection!

We are so happy that we chose Scioto Reserve for our wedding reception. The entire process was fun and with very little stress. Ann Marie was so great to work with and was very professional. I can not express how wonderful she is and how it made the planning process so much easier. She had great advice to help us and listened to what we wanted. She also knew our other vendors and worked with them which was so helpful. We got ready in the bridal suite and it made for a relaxing and fun morning. Ann Marie and Julie were awesome in checking in with us and helping. They even went beyond and steamed my dress for me! The staff was awesome during the reception and both our families raved about how much fun they all had. You wont be disappointed in choosing Scioto Reserve. They will take care of you and make sure that your day is super special!

We recently had our NYE wedding reception at Scioto Reserve and couldn't be happier. Ann Marie was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and we felt very taken care of. Having access to the venue the morning of was very helpful as we were all able to get ready there and didn't need to go from place to place as we prepared. The staff was attentive and receptive as we set up the day of and we really felt the venue was full service. We loved having both a grooms and bridal suite as it gave all of us a place to be throughout and my husband, brothers and friends loved the fun aspects the grooms suite offers. The venue was beautiful and we were very happy with the final results, we received multiple comments from guests on how nice the venue was. If you are considering booking contact Ann Marie and visit as she will do her best to make your special day great!

We had the most beautiful wedding I could ask for! Our wedding planner Ann Marie was a true blessing, helping us throughout the process and made it easy!! The staff were awesome and so nice to all of our guests. We are so happy with everything and would highly recommend to any newly engaged couple to consider Scioto Reserve💕

I don’t know how my wedding could happen without Ann Marie. She is very helpful and makes everything happen for us on our wedding date. She has a great control of timeline from the first day.

While this review is technically listed under Scioto Reserve Country Club, the real gem of this venue is their coordinator, Ann Marie. While we also could not have been happier with all other aspects of the venue, Ann Marie is a TRUE PRO and has this wedding coordinating thing down to a science. From start to finish she was responsive, helpful, detail oriented, calm, timely, and organized (all the necessities in someone helping to coordinate what can be a very stressful day). She answered our many many questions with patience and was so responsive to any changes we wanted to make along the way. A little more about the venue, we loved Scioto’s outdoor space where we were able to hold our ceremony and thought the reception space turned out beautifully for the size of our wedding (~200). We received several compliments about the food from guests and enjoyed everything we had personally as well. The wait staff was courteous and professional and Julie took great care of us and our bridal parties during the morning while we got ready. The suites for getting ready are a HUGE plus since we were able to have hair and makeup come to us and didn’t have to worry about traveling around on the day of the wedding. The setting around the country club in mid-May turned out beautifully in our photos and allowed for a variety of shots. If you have a specific request for your big day---I am guessing they can make it happen. For example, we had butler passed pink lemonade and champagne prior to the ceremony, signature cocktails during reception, and late night tacos toward the end of the night. Everything genuinely went off without a hitch and we credit most of that to Ann Marie’s careful planning and coordinating far in advance, to being with us throughout that day. We both highly recommend doing the additional coordinating service/meetings as it truly helped us feel at ease during the planning process and worked out several details in advance that we may have never even thought of. She ran our rehearsal smoothly and efficiently and managed to still help us stay excited for the following day’s festivities. Day of-Ann Marie was integral in how wonderfully everything turned out and managed to do it with a graceful, calming presence that never made you feel rushed or stressed. The day was organized and flowed so effectively from one thing to the next and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. For example, she took us to several locations around the golf course and venue the week before to help us scout good photo locations. She even had new name plates made and installed over the grooms suite lockers so my wife and her bridesmaids would feel most welcome and comfortable. We would highly highly recommend Scioto Reserve for your wedding and credit so much of our happiness with the day to Ann Marie.

It’s been a year since my wedding but I still think about how perfect it was! Scioto Reserve did an excellent job and I’m always telling everyone about them. Ann Marie was perfect and made everything so easy! They’re literally a one-stop shop for wedding services. Totally amazing!!!

Our wedding day at Scioto Reserve couldn't have been more perfect. The venue is great, especially if you are looking for an outdoor ceremony without changing location from the reception. The venue comes with a very spacious Bridal Suite, and separate suite for the groomsmen, making it easy to get ready, and keep all of your belongings in one place. Guests loved all of the food choices (we offered plated meals) and the house DJ was also fun to work with. The best part of the whole experience was working with the wedding coordinator, Ann Marie She is s true professional and works to ensure your day is organized and stress-free I was coordinating my wedding from out of state, and Ann Marie was so responsive to any emails or questions I had. We also had to push our wedding date back a year, and Ann Marie was so accommodating! On the day of the wedding, Ann Marie was helping to set up, had coordinated with each other vendor, and was present until the reception! She is truly great at her job, and I would highly recommend working with her if Scioto Reserve is a place you are considering getting married!

We couldn’t have been more thrilled about having our wedding at Scioto Reserve Country Club. We checked out several venues in downtown Columbus and a couple around the outskirts of the city as well, but nowhere else can really compare to the beauty of the venue, quality of the food, inclusiveness of the wedding package and lastly but most importantly, the amazing wedding coordinator, Ann Marie.
1. Beauty of venue- We had an outdoor ceremony in the garden and an indoor cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom. Having both the indoor elements and the outdoor elements available in one venue without switching venues was absolutely perfect! We loved that once our guests arrived for the ceremony, they didn’t have to worry about travel for the rest of the evening (including the Shuttle we provided at the end of the night to take guests back to our hotel, AC hotel in Dublin’s Bridge Park- a quick 15 minute bus trip from the venue). Additionally, the shape of the reception room is so nice and open that all guests are able to see what is going on at all times, and the dance floor is in the middle of the tables so even if you sit for a moment during dancing, you are still part of the party!
2. Delicious food- We were so impressed with the food options when we went to our tasting. The appetizers were delicious, the entrees were delicious and comparative to other venues around town, the prices were about $20-30/plate less. Our guests had wonderful reviews about the food!
3. Wedding Package- Scioto Reserve thinks of everything and then makes it all available to you in one package- all except for the dress anyway ;) For starters, they have a bridal and groom suite which were absolutely amazing for getting ready on the morning of our wedding and a place to recollect ourselves before the reception. You don’t see suites like these offered at other venues, especially to this degree of luxury! A great perk of Scioto a Reserve is that they reserve the venue for you all day and you don’t have to worry about rushing in and out of the venue to make way for another wedding that day (like you might at other venues) - they treat you like you’re the absolute only thing that matters all day, and it’s because you ARE! Their package includes decorations, table linens, silverware, China, CHIAVARI CHAIRS (yes, for free!) They have several styles of all of the mentioned items above for an up charge available as well. The package includes a cake (one less thing to coordinate)! They also have an in house DJ and photo booth available so you don’t have to stress about that if you don’t want to (but are more than welcome to hire your own if you prefer)! Not to mention Ann Marie has great connections with vendors for every need, in her back pocket.
4. Ann Marie- speaking of Ann Marie, everyone needs an Ann Marie when they’re planning a wedding! We met her on our first tour of the venue and basically worked with her everyday until Wedding Day! Months leading up to the wedding, she held our food tasting, cake tasting, plate and linen open house, and kept us on track with the planning process and timeline. She was our go to woman to make sure everyone was where they needed to be on the big day. The week before our wedding, I handed the contact information of my photographer, videographer, bag piper, decor vendor, flower company, and DJ to Ann Marie and she handled all communication with them that week. When you’re planning a wedding and you get to that last week, this is a HUGE help!!! In addition to all of that, we had a few tall orders on the wedding day which she executed perfectly. 1. During the ceremony, we had specific timing per the part in the music where each member of the bridal party walked down the aisle including the bride, and she made sure we hit the exact moment just as I had hoped! 2. We had a cookie table where we brought hundreds of cookies and Ann Marie and her team helped to display them beautifully. 3.For our bridal entrance, we wanted the bridal party to enter with the lights on and then wanted the ballroom to be blacked out for the bride and groom entrance (curtains closed, lights off, bistro lighting off - all within about a 2 minute window) and she knocked it out of the park! 4. Lastly, we wanted a sprinkle send in and Ann Marie agreed to multicolored sprinkles being tossed! It may have been the first and last sprinkle toss as sprinkles remained for days and weeks after, but it was one of our favorite parts of the night. Thanks again Ann Marie!

Josh & I visited many wedding/reception venues and nothing really seemed to fit until we decided to check out "just one more venue" and visited Scioto Reserve Country Club. As soon as we met the venue coordinator, Ann Marie Orren, and she showed us around the site, we knew it was absolutely perfect! Ann Marie did an outstanding job assisting us with our wedding planning and keeping everything organized. She is so helpful & kind. We definitely would not have been able to pull off such an amazing wedding without her!!!! There's nothing about the venue that we didn't like from the food, ceremony & reception areas, bridal & groom quarters, etc. The ceremony area in the garden is gorgeous with flowers surrounding the pergola. The reception ballroom has breathtaking panoramic views of their well manicured golf course. The bride & groom party quarters were unbelievable!!! Both rooms are huge with lockers labeled with bride, groom, etc, & with a private code to enter during your big day. The Brides quarters is gorgeous with comfortable seating area, mirrors for hair & makeup preparation, etc. The Groom's quarters has a pool table & poker table for the guys to relax before the ceremony. Our guys went out and played golf at the site the morning before the wedding. The catered food that they provide is some of the best food that we have ever tasted! (We highly recommend their candied bacon btw! LOL). You definitely cannot go wrong with this venue!

We had a very strict, small budget to use for our venue, and were looking for one of the "all-in-one" type venues. Everywhere we found that was suggested was either way overprice in general, or needed a minimum amount PLUS a minimum guest count. Scioto Reserve was not only beautiful from the get-go, but only required a minimum amount to book. We chose a Sunday wedding to stay within budget, and Ann Marie was an absolute dream to work with. She was patient, thorough, prompt, and was really good at dealing with my difficult mother. We made so many changes throughout the planning process, and she was able to accommodate everything and went above and beyond. The food is great, the venue is beautiful, the staff is beyond friendly and actually seemed happy for us instead of simply doing their job, and the Cake Studio, WHOA did they go above and beyond on the generic idea I gave them. I would highly recommend Scioto Reserve to anyone who has a wedding on a budget and wants a stress-free planning experience with a helpful guide along the way.

Ann Marie and the Scioto Reserve team were beyond anything we could have hoped for in a venue. My husband and I had two ceremonies (one Hindu and one Christian) as well as a lunch and a dinner at the venue. It was a very long day, but from the very beginning of our planning process Ann Marie went out of her way to make sure our every need was taken care of. The day ran absolutely seamlessly, and the venue staff were all so helpful and kind. We had a ceremony inside in the morning, followed by an indoor lunch in the same space, that the staff was able to flip in less than an hour. We also used their outdoor ceremony space, which is GORGEOUS, but do be aware that people are still golfing and using the pool around the garden. Everyone was very respectful and quiet during our ceremony, though, and the staff made sure that there were no disruptions. The venue has beautiful spots for pictures, and we were able to take a golf cart out around the golf course to get some especially pretty nature shots. Not to mention they have a huge bridal suite and groom's quarters to get ready in. The space was also great for our reception, the dance floor is quite spacious, and the bartenders were great at keeping the line at the bar short by working so quickly. Included in their packages is a free wedding cake, and the company that makes them is fantastic, we hardly had any left over, and they have so many flavors to choose from! Scioto's food as well was so delicious (get the candied bacon, guests will love it)! I really can't say too many good things about this place. Any request we had was met, they are wonderful about communicating, and they will work with you to build your perfect day. I'm so glad that my wedding memories will be of this place!

What a beautiful venue and amazing wedding coordinator! Ann Marie's knowledge, professionalism, and calm demeanor made this a perfect wedding day for my husband and me! She truly made planning easier for me, and added suggestions when I asked.
We used their in-house DJ for our event as well, and he was a delight! I truly couldn't imagine a more beautiful venue for our perfect day!

We just had our wedding on 10/29/16 and had our reception at Scioto Reserve Country Club and I cant explain how amazing everything turned out. Ann Marie was so easy to work with and had everything SO organized with all the vendors we used. She made our day stress free, we don't know how to thank her enough, she's AWESOME! Everything else was amazing as well. The food was SO good!! Our guests never had to wait long to get a cocktail. And our DJ we used (Night Music DJ professionals-Steve Ransom) made our wedding a blast!! We HIGHLY recommend using Steve as your DJ. Also, another thing that really made the reception room beautiful was the ceiling lights that were put up by Apex design. I can't say enough positive things to this club, staff, and vendors we used! This day and venue was amazing! THANK YOU! ❤️

I have been a DJ for 10 years with Music Express Entertainment and I have had the pleasure of dj'ing many weddings at Scioto Reserve. This is one of my favorite venues to work with! Ann Marie, Kaitlyn, and the entire staff are very professional and make sure that every wedding is successful! They work closely with every vendor to make sure that they have everything they need to be successful as well. The venue is amazing! Bride and Grooms can have their ceremony outside, go out on the course in golf carts afterwards to take pictures while their guests go into the club house to enjoy cocktails at the bar before the reception. When the reception starts the staff takes over to ensure everone is fed in a timely manner and that the Bride and Groom have everything they need! I HIGHLY recommend Scioto Reserve to be the venue of choice for any Brides or Grooms looking to get married! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

My husband and I had the perfect wedding at Scioto Reserve. Ann Marie made the process of planning a wedding easy and was so helpful throughout the process. The venue is gorgeous and the staff was amazing. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the ceremony and reception was and how great the food tasted (many told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding). The cake was fantastic too. The whole day ran smoothly and I was not stressed at all before, during, and after the wedding because of Ann Marie was so amazing. Thank you Scioto Reserve for making my dream wedding come true!!

Easy to work with and very professional plus Scioto is just a gorgeous venue!

Scioto Reserve was one of the best (and biggest) decisions that needed to be made for our wedding. Ann Marie basically made what we envisioned our wedding to be our reality. With a little under six months to plan, I wanted to be an organized bride so that I could truly enjoy the meaning of the day, that I was marrying my best friend, instead of worrying about details. All the meetings I had with Ann Marie leading up to the wedding, going through all the details including a day-of timeline really set my mind at ease and I truly was able to enjoy every moment. It was even more stress-free than I had hoped. From ordering our lunch ahead of time and having it brought to us when we chose to our sparkler send off at the end of the night, she had everything taken care of! Ann Marie even communicated with our other vendors to make sure they had everything they needed/had all their questions answered.
The facilities are beautiful, clean and make for a classy, but really fun atmosphere. We had both the ceremony and reception indoors…and when they say they will flip the space in 30 minutes, they mean it. The space looked beautiful for both ceremony and reception. I appreciated having a pretty, comfortable area to spend time with my girlfriends and mom while getting ready, and my husband and groomsman had a ball in the groom’s area.
A huge factor when we were picking our venue was set-up and tear-down. I have been involved in many weddings that required me to do both of those things, which can be stressful and tiring for all involved. Scioto Reserve eliminates both setting up and tearing down. My mom and I were able to drop off our decorations a few days before, with pictures of how we wanted the centerpieces to look and where everything belonged. Ann Marie and her team made it happen. After, they packaged all the decorations up and my parents simply picked it up the next day. Overall, Scioto Reserve, Ann Marie and her staff made our day to be exactly what we hoped.

Everything about Scioto Reserve is perfect for a wedding ceremony & reception!

The facility itself is gorgeous! From the luxurious Bridal Suite & Groom’s Quarters, to the warm tones of the stone and wood in the lounge area and great views from the panoramic windows in the ballroom, Scioto Reserve is sheer elegance from the moment you walk in! Couple this with the service, knowledge, recommendations and professional expertise of Ann Marie (a FANTASTIC coordinator!) and I knew in a moment that this is where I HAD TO get married!

There are just the right amount of planning meetings and constant communications, from the moment you reserve the venue to ease your stress level. I found myself without a few items very close to our wedding date and all I had to do was email Ann Marie and all was taken care of and off of my plate.

Our plan was to get married in the Garden outside but just as it was my moment to walk down the aisle, it began to rain, even though the radar did not show any (Ann Marie had checked previously, as any great coordinator would do). Ann Marie double checked to with me to find out what I wanted and then wasted no time as she passed control to the DJ to get our guests out of the rain, while she literally ran to the ballroom and helped the staff rearrange everything from reception seating to ceremony seating. The entire change took about 15 minutes and our ceremony began again indoors. During all of this, I was able to remain a completely calm Bride because I had complete faith in Ann Marie and the wedding event staff.

Everything was perfect, for our wedding. Two weeks later, our guests are still talking about the beautiful venue, absolutely delicious food and flawless coordination of wedding events. Being a Bride can be stressful enough, there is no reason to make your wedding day stressful, too. The 16 months I spent working with Ann Marie was effortless. From the first phone call and visit, she was on top of it. I like how she is very to the point and I am pretty sure she never told me no (except when my now husband want to us confetti canons for our entrance. Even then, she said yes, but did let us know there would be a charge for the clean up :)) Although Ann Marie had many other clients, she never made me feel that way. She always took the time whether it was via email, phone, or in person, to walk through whatever question or concern that I had. Even last minute when I felt like a crazy person (brides, if you don't know, you will soon) she was always calm and made things work.

The food was absolutely amazing. The guests could not say enough good things about it. I could not find a buffet option that had the chicken and the pasta I wanted, but they made it work to get both items together at no additional charge! We added the prime rib carving station and the mashed potato martini bar and omg. They were the hit of the reception!

The staff were very attentive and always around for the most part. I did have a bit of an issue in the morning with the mimosas that I ordered. I ordered breakfast, lunch, and 6 bottles of champagne for the bridesmaids (I had 11 of them, plus moms, hair dressers, etc...). I had my make up done offsite, so I was not getting there until 11-11:30. When I spoke to my MOH on my way to the venue and asked to have a mimosa waiting for me, she indicated that the staff would not release the champagne until I got there. This was a big disappointment because the champagne was intended for them, not really for me. I spent quite a bit of money on them, and by the time I got there we really only have about 2 hours to enjoy them until the photographer arrived and pictures started. I just felt as if it was a waste of my money and I wish I would have been told up front that I had to be present to release the bottles.

Scioto Reserve was the perfect place to host our July 4th wedding reception. The venue is beautiful, inside and out. Ann Marie was so helpful in the planning process from 14 months before the wedding, all the way through the special day. Scioto Reserve has an amazing bridal suite to use for bridal party hair, makeup, breakfast, coffee, and picture opportunities. This venue also has groom's quarters for the guys to get dressed in. The food, cake, and cocktails were delicious and the entire planning process was special. Ann Marie made sure all of our needs were met and the staff did an amazing job serving guests. From the moment we walked into Scioto Reserve, we knew that we wanted our wedding at this fabulous venue!

Ann Marie was a joy to work with and made everything related to the reception super easy! The staff was very professional both during our reception and our rehearsal dinner the night before. The food was excellent, the cake was excellent and the dj was excellent. The bridal suite and grooms quarters were the perfect place to get ready before the ceremony. I would highly recommend every couple who is planning a wedding to take a look at this venue!

The team at Scioto Reserve did an amazing job hosting our big day. A special thanks to Ann Marie who enabled our day to go on without a hitch. Ann Marie was a wonderful, compassionate, caring person to work with who truly had our best interest at heart. I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony, but mother nature decided not to cooperate and Ann Marie went above and beyond to set-up the indoor option (plan B) to become this incredibly intimate, romantic, wonderful experience for both myself and my guests.

I would highlly recommend Ann Marie and the Scioto Reserve team to anyone looking for a beautiful classy environment. The Bridal and Grooms quarters are AMAZING and the perfect atmosphere to spend getting ready with the ones you love. The food was incredible, the planning was effortless and the serving staff knows their stuff! They served all of our guests like a well oiled machine! It was so cool watching them efficiently serve plated meals and salads to everyone without any disruption to the speeches and conversation going on. A true A+!

Something that I never even thought about when I selected SRCC was how beautiful the venue was and the cost we saved in decor due to the natural beauty of the venue itself. Booking here will save you more money on flowers and decor in the long run. Highly recommended!

Our wedding ceremony and reception at Scioto Reserve were absolutely magical! From the moment I walked into the club, I knew I wanted to get married there. The venue itself is beautiful and the bridal suite and groom's quarters are amazing. There is nothing like this venue anywhere else in Central Ohio. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the club is! The food was fantastic and they offer many delicious menu choices. Joe Bush (the GM) and the rest of the staff are very professional and accommodating. Ann Marie Brockman is simply the best. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I don't know what I would have done without Ann Marie's guidance and assistance! She thought of everything and completely put our minds at ease so that we could truly just enjoy the day. If you are going to get married in the Columbus area, visit SRCC. You won't be disappointed. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience and highly recommend SRCC!
