Wedding Photography

Scott did an amazing job with my wedding photography for a very affordable price. He was super responsive any time I reached out to him and in the days leading up to the wedding he stayed in touch to make sure we were on the same page for photography plans. He got the pictures back to my husband and I in just a week! I could not be happier with how they turned out. Scott is truly amazing at what he does. I definitely would recommend using him as your wedding photographer!

We had Scott do our wedding photos and he was fantastic. He was very professional and you can tell he is a seasoned wedding photographer with his knowledge of situations/things that most people wouldn't think of during a wedding. He did a great job making use of the time that we were hiding from the rain on our wedding day (it of course started raining right when we went out to get photos around beautiful downtown Oberlin)- he did such a great job that the photos we were hiding from the rain ended up being some of our favorites. He is very affordable, especially when in comparison with some of the other photographers we talked to in the area, while sacrificing nothing on quality. Thanks Scott!

I heard about Scott when he did our friends’ engagement pictures and then wedding. I am truly convinced that our wedding day was a success because of him. Scott is a quirky dude, but he keeps the atmosphere organized and productive. His duck noises to keep the kiddos smiling ended up making the adults laugh too. He’s never short of ideas for beautiful pictures, fun pictures, and memorable moments. Even the second photographer he booked for us was fantastic and I know got some awesome candid shots. He also will work with your unique ideas for pictures and moments, and put his own little spin on them to make them work.
Some things any brides should know about Scott: He will have 4-5 pictures edited and posted on Facebook THAT NIGHT. By the time we reached the hotel to check in, he already had pictures up for us to see. He’s great at keeping pictures running smoothly and will command the attention needed to get things moving. Our bridal party was NOT digging the location of our pictures despite many discussions with them months ahead of time letting them know that it was a bit of a hike (but totally worth it). Despite this, Scott worked with an area he was not familiar with and got some incredible shots.
When Scott did my friends’ wedding, there’s an infamous story where she ripped her dress and he sewed her back into it. He isn’t afraid to step out of his role as a photographer to just simply make sure things run smoothly for the bride and groom. He has done so many weddings that he can answer questions outside of just photography (like he instructed us on how to cut our cake for the cake cutting ceremony). He loves when you come to the table with fun ideas, and embraces them to make them special.
If I can sum Scott up in a few words—he is someone who under promises but over delivers. With our engagement shoot, he told us the pictures would be up within 3 weeks…we got them within the week.

We could not have asked for a better experience with Scott. To start, his package options were flexible and affordable and blew the competition away. Our engagement session was great and everything came back quickly. He met with us multiple times and allowed us to share ideas of some specific shots we wanted at the weddding and was very patient. Our photos again came back quickly and with more pictures than I would have expected. He also did great at capturing so many fun moments at the reception that we would not have noticed with how busy and fast the night goes by. He is very professional yet laid back which makes everything more comfortable as pictures aren't always easy to make everyone happy. We plan to use him again in the near future for newborn photos and have recommended him for other weddings.

Scott deserves more stars than this website allows to give. I can't believe how amazing our pictures turned out. My bridal party was on the bigger side and some of the groomsmen were difficult to work with but Scott kept his cool and captured amazing shots. He knew just where to take us and really kept us on time. I would recommend him to ANY bride I know (or don't for that matter). The best part was seeing a "sneak peak" the same night.

Scott was the first person we met with when we were engaged and immediately booked him! He has a very professional appearance and such amazing talent! We were SO pleased and absolutely LOVED our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures!!! He arrived to our venue earlier than anyone else and found places to take pictures that I would have never thought of. He utilized our time and because of him, we now have BEAUTIFUL pictures to always remember our day:)

Scott is amazing! He goes out of his way to make the bride happy. He should be a wedding planner, because he ended up helping me with more than just the photos during my wedding. He is a genuine guy and loves what he does and offers great prices! I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Scott was a great choice as our wedding photographer. He was well priced, offers several packages to choose from, and gives both the print and digital rights to the couple. Scott was very professional and yet friendly and light hearted during our entire wedding. He knew where to go to get great pictures and also did a great job at editing them. Our pictures will be a major way in our we remember our wedding day. We are so happy they turned out so beautiful. Getting all of our pictures back within a month of our wedding was also amazing!

My husband and I found Scott through a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad we picked him! Scott was more than just a photographer, he became part of the family at our wedding! He got involved and had fun with us while still getting the shots. We got married in an old church and I had seen a really cool photo of a bride walking down the aisle shot from up above and assumed he wouldn't be able to do that and still get photos of us walking down the aisle. Wrong! Scott set everything up to get the shot while still getting photos of everyone walking down the aisle. It is one of my favorite photos! He even remembered to pull us aside during our reception to get a photo with my husband's grandparents that we hadn't gotten at the church. A special photo we will cherish as his grandfather has just now entered hospice. I can't recommend Scott enough! A truly talented photographer and great guy!

He was great to work with for our wedding and engagement pictures. He was very flexible and willing to let us pick whatever venue we wanted for our indoor and outdoor pictures. The photos turned out great! He was always on time/early. He gives you the flash drive with all of the pictures on it in a high resolution which makes it easy to bring to the store to get prints. At times he was hard to get in contact with but he would eventually get back to you with little nudges. Definitely the best value in town, With top quality!

We have a very large family and wanted family photo's on vacation in Ohio. We booked Scott because he had great ratings on line, that was all we had to go on. That said, the on line reviews were more than accurate. Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had 12 adults and 9 children to shoot. We wanted many different groupings: kids alone, parents with grandkids, kids and grandkids and so on. Scott was a gem to work with. He was on time for our sitting at the lake and was incredibly patient as we decided who we wanted in each photo. He worked to be sure he had great photos, everyone looking at the camera and I will never know how he did it but from 4 months to 65 years, he captured us all smiling at once. He was amazing with the kids, knew exactly what to do to make them smile.
I can't say more good things about him. I only wish he lived in Arizona and we could use him each year as the kids grow up! Thank you Scott!

On our initial meeting with Scott, photos in his gallery were beautiful and he got right back to us. After we paid our deposit, we had to hunt him down to set up engagement photo session. He gave us a lame excuse as to why he wasn't getting back to us. Finally set up the engagement session, and we did get those photos back in a timely, set fashion. The photos were sub-par, my fiance's tie was way off center in the photos and his shirt was bunched up and Scott never said anything about it. For the wedding photos, I had to keep calling and emailing him. He finally got back to me 7 months after the wedding, and gave another lame excuse about the printing company he used got hacked into, yet he never responded to my emails or calls to tell me when that happened. Guests at the wedding using their cell phones took better pictures than some of his, they did not look like the photos hanging in his gallery. The one photo I really wanted of my entire family, he centered one of my cousins directly behind and between my husband and I. We didn't pay attention when we were having the photo done, we just trusted we knew what he was doing, but when we got the picture and noticed there was someone in between us we were so upset. In my husband's family photo, one of his nieces has her hands tucked into her shirt, and she was right in the front, and Scott did not tell her to move her hands and that is the only family picture we have of his side. It seemed like he was just interested in shooting the picture so he could go outside and use his Vape. For most of the pictures, my veil is falling out of my hair and hanging half-way off my head, and he did not point this out to anyone, just kept taking pictures so I can't even use those pictures, and I felt something like this is his job since everyone else is so wrapped up in enjoying the special day. He sells you with the beautiful pictures in his studio and tells you how great of a job he'll do, but just be prepared to wait for them.

I'm mortified that you feel this way, and in not sure which of my many clients this is. I've shot over 300 weddings and this is the first time I've had this type of review. Please message me privately, because I would at least like to know who this is so I can look at the photos, and see what the issues are and if there is a way I can remedy it in some way. I take great pride in doing the best job in capturing your day. Over the last year I have had some personal issues that did, in fact, harm my business and responses, and editing time. I'm on the other side of that but it saddens me beyond belief that I have a client that feels this way. Please reach out to me directly
