    Wonderful experience with Adriana and her team

    Adriana and her team were amazing for my Feb 9th Wedding at a private estate. The Estate owner highly recommended her to plan our wedding. They were priced great and very professional. Loved all her wedding decor for our special day.

    Fantastic and memorable!

    Adriana was recently the day-of coordinator at my daughter’s Quinceañera, and I was very pleased with her service. She is professional, organized and knowledgeable. During the process of the planning, Adriana created our timeline and maintained an excellent communication with our vendors. On the day of the event, Adriana, along with her assistant Hannah, handled everything beautifully. They were gracious, attentive and wonderfully interacted with all of our guests and vendors.

    My Wedding

    Adriana did a fantastic job! Very happy with our wedding and these event planners who made it possible! The food was great, we rented our venue with them in Carlsbad. The day-of coordination went very smoothly and the decor was fantastic!

    My Sweet 16

    Hugo and Adriana did my sweet 16 and it was everything I wanted and more. The venue was perfect and the decorations were even more perfect. The food and dessert table was amazing as well. They made this night sooo perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better business to take care of the event.

    My Wedding Was Perfect!

    This company is so helpful and efficient! The custom packages they offered saved me at my wedding. I could not find caterers and Royalty Events offered the best food! The day-of coordination was also a huge help as it took so much stress off my shoulders so I could enjoy the special day. Thank you Royalty Events!

    Great prices, great quality, reliable

    We got a custom package for a small 80 ppl wedding at my families home in Valley Center. This was really helpful because i didn't have to shop vendors and give out separate deposits so this definitely helped ease our stress! We saw photos and videos of the vendors work and quality before signing the contract, so we knew what we where buying beforehand. Adriana was very helpful in fitting my budget and helping me get the package together that i needed which was photo booth, led robot stilt walker, limo, photographer and dj. I already had everything else that i needed besides these items and honestly we should have just got everything from them instead of nit picking everything separately because wedding planning is so stressful..lol..Anyhow i hope this is helpful for those of you that are currently planning your wedding on your own! I highly recommend SD Royalty Events!!!

    Impressive and Amazing Experience

    My event was in October of 2019 for a seating of 450 people, i am not a review writing type of person mainly because it takes time out of what is always a very busy day for me being a working mom, But i feel very strongly that its important that other people know how amazing this company is. When me and my family initially met with Adriana and Hugo for the first time they toured us a venue in person, then we sat down in the venue to discuss party services. i felt very comfortable with the both of them and We appreciated the quality of their work from the photos and videos i was shown in the appointment. Another factor that i took appreciation in them was that they are husband and wife, not some snotty corporate, but a family building a business together. They made it very clear that they are not the owners or managers of any venue but they love to refer venues that they love to work with and trust. When viewing their packages i was impressed by their services and even more impressed with their affordable prices, as everyone nowadays looks for quality but also is on a budget especially when having a family, i'm sure most people can relate to that. After doing my shopping around we singled out SD Royalty Events as the company we would be hiring to do my ONLY daughters Quinceanera. We had exactly 12 months to plan this. We where excited and pretty confident in them and it took loads of stress off of me. We purchased the Royalty Package which is their biggest package that inlcudes: Catering, Décor, Centerpieces, Photo, Video, DJ Service,Security Guards, Day of Coordination, Event Planning, LED Robot, Cake, Party Bus / Hummer Limo, Desert Table, Photo Booth, LED Dance Floor;
    All appointments where completed in a timely manner by SD Royalty and their vendors. Our appointments where decor, cake tasting, timeline, food tasting, pre-photo shoot, phone call from DJ and Desert table vendors. Adriana also organized a dance rehearsal at the venue 4 days before the event, we where able to see and choose floor plan options, reviewed & revised the timeline that was created 6 months prior to our event, & the birthday girl was able to practice her special dances with her court and dance instructor. We chose a Golf course in Escondido & signed the venue contract separately, with the venue events coordinator. A contract was signed with SD Royalty Events, for party services. Adriana was very helpful in referring vendors to me that where outside of my package, like a trust worthy dance instructor, invitations vendor, and reputable hair and makeup artist. I was fully satisfied with the vendors she referred to me that where outside our package. she also made it very clear that she is only referring these vendors and does not want to take responsibility in their performance. I completely respected that and understood where she was coming from. I was just grateful that she took the time to send me other vendor information, like i mentioned before being a working mom i don't really have time to do my research and do the footwork in meeting a bunch of people, because it does get tiring! So, that is another huge stress reliever. Walking into my daughters Quinceanera i was already astonished of how well they transformed the entire place, Decor vendor is amazing. Adriana approached me right away & helped me with bags that i brought with our personal items. Throughout the event she communicated with me and coordinated the timeline.I was able to enjoy mingling with my guests and i can tell my daughter and her friends where very happy.SD Royalty staff was very attentive and respectful. I really liked how they kept the entire venue clean, there where no plates piled on tables for long periods of time or trash on the floors, great at picking up messes right away.The food was delicious, that's a huge plus in a Hispanic family! Not at anytime did me or my guests notice anything unsanitary about the staff or how they conducted the buffet.SD Royalty cleaned and closed the venue with the venues coordinator. I highly recommend SD Royalty Events/Adriana & Hugo!!

    stress free and very helpful company

    I hired SD Royalty Events after they where referred to us by a friend and a family member. I was confident in them from the get go because they had planned and coordinated both events that i was referred from. All the positive that i was told about them was right on point. Adriana was my day of coordinator along with her team. Although i didn't purchase a large package from SD Royalty they still payed close attention to detail and referred lots of vendors that weren't in the package that i purchased. They made my daughters Sweet 16 dream come to life and i couldn't be any more grateful for their services. They set up, broke down and cleaned the venue, that was a huge weight taken off my back. Our event was for 150 people October 5, 2019. Hugo and Adriana are our go to's for any of our families events and i will always continue to refer them business to them because they where a huge help and did an awesome job performing the event! Highly recommended!

    awesome experience and easy to work with

    Adriana and Hugo planned and coordinated our daughters quinceanera recently this September 2019. The venue we chose was the QLN in Oceanside and my party size was 300 people. Our event is actually the 4th event in our family through SD Royalty Events. We are very familiar with their style of events through experience of our nieces quinceaneras that Hugo and Adriana did. i'd have to say that one thing that my entire family loves about their packages is the Mexican buffet style catering. All of our families events have had the same food in the past 4 years and it never gets old! They have great service and definitely know how to throw an amazing party. I could not have done this without them, from creating and coordinating the timeline to the cleaning service, everything was at the standard that i expected and they left an outstanding impression. I will always refer SD Royalty to anyone that is looking for a party planner and my family has more quinceaneras to go because we have tons of girls in our family, not to mention we have another daughter that is next and Hugo & Adriana are already in my thoughts!

    Great service & they make it all stress free

    I hired SD Royalty events summer of 2018 & we had our event in the summer of 2019. We had one year to plan my daughters sweet 16. I already had my venue booked when I met with Adriana & Hugo to go over packages. I was able to purchase a package that had exactly what we needed and it was very affordable. They are a true hard working honest couple and I have a lot of respect for them as husband & wife/Business partners. They went above and beyond and had every detail down to perfection. We got lots of compliments about the coordinator, decor, food. I can honestly say that we are 100 percent satisfied & thank you Adriana my daughter wouldn’t have wanted any other planner, you where the perfect fit for my princess. I highly recommend SD Royalty Events they will relieve the stress of shopping around & will relieve the stress on the day of your event!

    perfectly coordinated and lots of fun!

    I was a guest at my nieces Quinceanera and it was really fancy! glassware on all the tables, beautiful decorations, loved the DJ. there was always something to do like dance, visit the photo booth, get treats from the beautifully decorated and really tasty dessert table. i had a blast and i know my niece did too. She still talks about how fun her party was, thanks to SD Royalty Events! 10 STARS!!

    Beyond grateful for SD Royalty Events!

    I’m a single mom raising 3 kids, my oldest being what is my now 15 year old! I’m extremely grateful for everything SD Royalty Events did for my daughter & for my family. It was a beautiful experience, I cried tears of joy and so did my daughter. We didn’t have to worry about coordinating or cleaning so it felt great to be able to truly enjoy myself. My family and friends complimented everything, I have nothing but good memories of this day. They where able to accommodate my budget and work with me on payments. I’m appreciative & beyond grateful for them, my daughter was very happy, thank you Adriana & Hugo!

    I was a bridesmaid & I'm impressed!

    I can’t say this enough! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you… SD royalty events/Adriana and Hugo/and their team! I was with my sister-in-law every step of the way in planning her wedding. We both got along with the event planner Adriana, she was also the day of coordinator. The wedding was beautiful and we had lots of fun dancing, during toast time there was lots of laughter. what I appreciated the most was the attention to detail. I loved how everything ran so smoothly throughout the entire event. Highly recommended!

    extremely helpful and stress relievers!!

    I was not going to do a quinceanera for my daughter because of financial reasons. Due to a huge blessing and family voluntarily contributing i decided that we could throw my daughter the party shes always wanted. I was referred to SD Royalty Events by a friend that was a guest at one of their events. Me and my daughter loved them right away and felt comfortable hiring them to plan my daughters special day. With only 4 months to plan, they made it easier for me and i really didn't have to worry about much. They did a great job helping me plan and they did an amazing job coordinating the big day! i'm forever grateful for them and i will never forget how kind and helpful they where to us.Thank you SD Royalty Events, you guys are awesome!!

    My now husband is a marine and we were on a very tight time crunch to have our wedding because he was getting deployed and shortly after returning he was going to get orders so we were possibly going to move. We are both from San Diego so all our friends and family are from here so we definitely wanted to have our wedding here. Before finding SD Royalty Events I was researching and calling places like crazy. Mind you, I work full time and I have 5 kids at home. I was beyond stressed just trying to find the right venue! My husband was about to deploy and leave all the planning up to me. My friend introduced SD Royalty Events to me and everything sounded great and within our budget. Hiring this company was the BEST thing I ever could have done. The planning was a breeze and completely stress free. The day of the wedding I was so calm and I wasn't stressing about anything. They were very attentive the whole day and made sure my husband and I were being taken care of. Everything came out BEAUTIFULLY and just how I imagined. I'm so happy with how everything came out and it's all thanks to SD Royalty Events!!

    So you just got engaged, and you're Yelping for a wedding planner...Call Mayra now. It will be the best decision of your foreseeable future, and you're going to have a lot of decisions to make between now and when you say "I Do".

    EXPERIENCED
    Mayra and her team have worked at almost every venue and with almost every vendor in the area. They'll get a feel for your preferences and styles, and then provide you with a short list to choose from.

    PROFESSIONAL
    Responsive to emails and phone calls, considerate of issues that are important to one or both families, flexible enough to adapt and make your wedding day turn out the way you want it to be. They offer additional services like Workshops, Monthly Check-Ins, and a team of pros to answer any question any time.

    DAY-OF BLISS
    On the day of your wedding there are a couple things on your mind, and you don't want one of those to be "has the caterer arrived....do they know where to put the reserved seating signs......does someone have an extension chord in case the band forgot theirs?". Mayra and her team take care of EVERYTHING - the vendors all know to direct all of their questions to her. This was the most valuable part of our experience, our entire wedding-day was 100% worry free...priceless.

    I have no idea what the review below is about!!!!!! Mayra's full time job is being a wedding planner!!!! She has been totally on top of things, professional, putting my needs way above the vendors and making sure I got the best deals by offering plenty of choices, made sure I had all the contracts signed with the deposit, helped me with the time line of all the events and she went way beyond the call of duty to make sure I was relaxed and happy with everything. She even helped me with events outside of the wedding. Seriously, if you want someone who will make sure that you get your dream wedding, she is the ONE!!!!!

    If you are doing a wedding in San Diego, you have to use Mayra, she is amazing!!!!! Just call her and you'll see what I mean!!!!

    Unprofessional and unorganized

    I was at an event in which SD Royalty Events catered the food and served it as well. Next 2 days I had a mild case of food poisoning. Turns out there were many other attendees who also got sick a couple even hospitalize. I wondered if the lady serving the food had food handling certification. Other things I notice from the start their planning timeline had alot of gaps with nothing going on. They had a tiny screen to show the slide show which was slanted and at first they could not operate. People spend big dollars on cake and this business showed disrespect when cutting it. They cut the cake with no regards to slicing it nicely and making it appealing to eat. Instead they chopped into the cake serving chunks thrown on a plate. Not sure if they decorated but that was pretty. If you are considering using this business check the BBB, check for license, ask for food handling certification for the servers and proof of insurance. As as guest, who recently planned a wedding, I would advise looking else where for your event coordinating needs.

    We originally hired this company because it was very good deal for having 180 guest at our wedding. In the end things did not work out, The contract is very open ended and the coordinator does not give you a break down of what the money is being spent on. We had to cancel over a year in advance due to the fact I'm enlisted in the military and timing wasn't right. He states there is 1000 dollar non refundable deposit we gave 3000 down to put towards paying off the wedding and he only gave us 1500 back with no explanation of charges. He did not stay for the cake tasting or food tasting and did not offer suggestion either. I would not reccomend this company to my friends or family

    Worst wedding planners ever!!

    Words cannot explain how awful this company is. Never did I think I would have to deal with I dealt with while using them. They have no value in customer service. Please save yourself the headache and hire someone else. I would not give someone a bad review if they didn’t deserve it. Not only did I get yelled at on the phone by Hugo who is one of the owners but his wife Adriana has worst attitude and has no sense of customer service. I was told that this isn’t a fast food restaurant and that the customer is not always right because they messed up on my venue contract and the venue now wanted more money. Main reason to stay from them is that they are so shady. Hugo made my contract with the venue for the hours of 5pm- 10pm, when he knew that my party was supposed to start at 5. When I confronted him he said that he does this all the time and that venue wouldn’t find out if we used it for more time. This to me is stealing and I was not ok with this because I will not steal time from anyone. Please read their reviews on Facebook their websites and make sure to stay away from them. They may try to deny all of this but I have messages and emails from them proving all this.

    Very very unprofessional and a liar

    Hugo is unprofessional and disrespectful. It was a rainy day at my daughter's 15 but this man got alot of my invites wet as he was pulling down the drapes of the canopies without apologizing. Anyways, the party limo was late...really late, almost 2 hrs late. Hugo didn't gave him the new address, he told me he was going to refund me the late time but as of today I'm still waiting. When we interviewed for the cake tasting I told them I didn't want the cake to be thrown away. I wanted to keep it and he threw the remaining of the cake, we are probably talking about maybe $500- 700. Also, we had a zanquero/clown I paid and I have text messages about it. I paid for certain time and he only gave me 30 min. of service and I can't believe I didn't noticed he over charged me on this too when I have texts with different amounts. I communicated all these after the event was over, days/week and he made an statement he would pay me back the remaining and again I'm still waiting.
    Hugo and Adriana are fake and they don't care about customers. They don't even care about this review. I got my video and pictures months months later. On conclusion if I could go back I wouldn't hire them. I believe in karma and one day these people are going to meet someone that can actually take them to court for this. I was waiting for them to pay me back before this review but didn't happened. PLEASE DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY.
