  Amazing! Goes above and beyond!

  Working with Ann at seafood world has been more than amazing! I really appreciate everything she has done and more. This event would be a disaster without her and we've been planning our wedding since 2018 with the original event date in 2020. With unforeseen circumstances like covid and personal reasons, she has been more than understanding and shown us empathy, kindness, and her generosity to help us get through this. I am so glad that our paths have crossed and I have met someone like her in my life. She truly went above and beyond from helping with the planning and the actual event, and to be so kind to extend help to a new mom with traveling and tips from the plane. I was so worried about it being a hassle with flying but she was so right about it everything. It's much easier than driving long hours from what we originally planned. We need more people like her in the world who is kind, generous, and understanding. I truly felt like she was my friend throughout this process and hopes we continue being friends in the future.Thank you again!

  Excellent choice

  Seafood World was an absolutely wonderful choice for us, especially working with Ann! Layout was beautiful and beyond what we expected. Guests enjoyed their food and had a wonderful time. Couldn't have gone better. Thank you!!

  Beyond the call of duty.

  We chose this restaurant to be the location and service where our reception will be due to past experiences for almost 30 years of my own memory in Orange County. The original date was in October 2020, but Ann was able to help us accommodate the date changes due to COVID restrictions and safety of my guests. We were able to get an incredible fated date on October 2022 with a beautiful reception for me and my wife. The food is good value compared to other restaurants in the area, with Ann allowing us to customize the menu a bit from their 4 set menus. Venue was easy to work with between the MC (DJ Dewey) and Wedding Coordinator (Tadori Events) I hired. The service and collaboration between vendors is really the key to make it the best wedding possible.

  Great Chinese Food with a Slight Viet Influence

  My wedding planner recommended Seafood World for our wedding at Fete the Venue. I was hesitant at first but when we had the tasting at the restuarant, I knew we had to hire them. It was great Chinese banquet food, especially for it being catered. I've had their competitor's food, who is a huge name in SoCal at a friend's wedding. I must say Seafood World surpasses them with quality, taste, and was half the price. I highly recommend! All basic rentals, tools, servers, water, cutlery was taken care of and there was no surprise hiked up added costs at the end. They allowed me to adjust the menu and add fresh whole fish with an added cost that was reasonable. My guest enjoyed the food, people were full, and my family had no complaints. That's a huge win!

  Foods is nothing compared to other vendors.

  I would recommend anyone to this restaurant for wedding. The foods is so delicious compared to other Asian restaurants. The decorations is just ok.

  The best caterer!

  My experience with seafood world was excellent, professional, and tasty!
  
  Ann cong assisted me and she is so caring and attentive to detail. She worked so hard to anticipate all my needs even beyond just catering, like timeline and other vendor communications. In fact, I think she works too hard because she answered me texts any time of the day even when she was on vacation!
  
  On the wedding date, the execution of the flip and the catering service was so incredibly smooth and efficient. The food portions are sizable and my guests were full and happy.
  
  I am so happy with my catering experience and recommend their services wholeheartedly.

  We chose Seafood World for our wedding caterer and could not have been more pleased.
  
  Ann was a pleasure to work with - so chill and accommodating! I knew right after the tasting that we would go with Seafood World because everything was presented beautifully and tasted great! They were able to accommodate a custom menu for us as well, and catered off-site to a new venue they hadn't used before. That did make me a little nervous but on the day-of, everything went incredibly smoothly - after all, Ann is a wedding coordinator herself as well!
  
  Ann helped us choose several dim sum items for our cocktail hour and our guests RAVED about the dim sum, especially the pork siu mai.
  
  We had an eight course dinner menu, and our guests loved it. Even my husband's family from the midwest loved trying the dishes they've never tried before - and liked it! Definitely get the Seafood World Special Lobster and the French Style Beef.

  Please see my detailed review on yelp: We choose Seafood World based on 3 qualities: the quality/taste of their food, the HUGE list of venues they've catered to before, and Ann (More on her later)! Booking them was a breeze; we could customize each dish how we wanted I think most of my peers are worried about booking with Asian businesses for fear of getting not the promised delivered product. With Ann I felt very assured, the invoice and payment schedule was clear and detailed, Ann goes over the invoice and menu multiple times each time we met so that I was and she was clear about what we wanted/expected. On the wedding day guests raved about the food. Passed appetizers came out hot and fresh. The first course we got a customized cold platter that satisfied both the elders and our friends, then the crab soup that was flavorful (no need to add soy sauce). We added garlic noodles to our lobster which came our piping hot and plentiful. Everyone LOVE the lotus leaf fried rice; flavorful from the mushrooms and lotus leaf not from the soy sauce or fish sauce flavoring and not oily. The only dish that guests didn’t love was the fried rock cod in lobster sauce, we heard it was lukewarm and rubbery. I didn’t get to eat it that night but I re heated it the night after in the toaster oven and it tasted fine The 8 flavor duck was popular we liked the lotus sees and water chestnuts stuffed in it to give it texture. The walnut shrimp came out crispy and not over dressed. Food was plentiful, looks liked every table took food home. Cake cutting was included; we had two flavors and Ann made sure everyone got a chance to get both slices. Our baker was suppose to give us boxes so that guest could take the extra cake home but when they forgot Ann happily supplied us with her own boxes so cake would not be wasted.   1.) Extremely responsive via email and phone - Which is very rare with Asian vendors, or wedding vendors overall. She is also always physically at the restaurant whenever you need her.
  2.) Very professional - No bs, no price haggling needed. They have set packages at very competitive rates.
  3.) Same-day coordinator - I didn't know she would be at my wedding the entire time helping out with the details at no additional cost. I already hired my own same-day coordinator before I met with Ann. So this is a huge bonus if you go with Seafood World.
  4.) Experience - She has a wealth of experience in wedding planning and recommended various vendors to me in every category and budget. Ann also gave me tons of tips on how to handle certain vendors and prepared me for possible challenges.
  5.) Reliability - What separates them from the competitors is that they have Ann who simply cares. She goes above and beyond what she is paid to do. She picks up the slack when other vendors or wedding party drops the ball without hesitation, without speaking of it, and without asking for recognition.
  Bonus: She is a professional ballroom dance instructor! If I had known earlier, I would have definitely signed up with her!
  
  My goal was to have a blast at my wedding, and I definitely owe a big part of that to Ann and her team. Out of my 300 guests, we had absolutely no complaints. Everything went smoothly as I am sure Ann was quietly putting out little fires for me, and all of our guests enjoyed the food.
  
  Ann was such an unexpected support and cheerleader, I can't say enough great things about the quality of service we received, and the friendship we gained from it.

She is personable and even took great pictures and videos of our remarkable day. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to all my family and friends looking for a professional in the wedding industry.   By far, hiring Ann from Seafood World for our catering has so far been the best use of our money. She let us come to the restaurant and try some of the actual dishes that would be at our wedding. She worked within our budget and provided service above and beyond. All the guests talked about how delicious the food was afterwards. If you want traditional Asian food at your wedding, she is truly the one to hire. I was surprised they would go as far as Lake Arrowhead, but they made it work. What I appreciate about Ann is that she answers emails and phone calls quickly. She gets down to business. During our wedding, they brought their food truck and actually cooked it there, so the food was piping hot when it came out to the guests.
  
  What I appreciate about Ann and Seafood World is that they truly and genuinely wanted everything for our wedding to go perfectly. My husband and I were unfortunately locked into paying for the venue's wedding coordinator. That coordinator never responded to our emails unless we reminded her through email, text and voicemail to respond. Basically, we would have to bug her continuously for a response. Anyway, the wedding coordinator we were forced to hire disappeared for a long time during the setup and during the wedding. She was on a very long "break." Ann stepped in and took over. She helped coordinate everything and made the wedding go smoothly.
  
  Ann is truly genuine and sweet. We truly can't thank her enough. She was the driving force to making our wedding go perfectly.

During our wedding, they brought their food truck and actually cooked it there, so the food was piping hot when it came out to the guests.
  
  What I appreciate about Ann and Seafood World is that they truly and genuinely wanted everything for our wedding to go perfectly. My husband and I were unfortunately locked into paying for the venue's wedding coordinator. That coordinator never responded to our emails unless we reminded her through email, text and voicemail to respond. Basically, we would have to bug her continuously for a response. Anyway, the wedding coordinator we were forced to hire disappeared for a long time during the setup and during the wedding. She was on a very long "break." Ann stepped in and took over. She helped coordinate everything and made the wedding go smoothly.
  
  Ann is truly genuine and sweet. We truly can't thank her enough. She was the driving force to making our wedding go perfectly.

  I had my wedding at Diamond Bar Center and was looking for Asian banquet style catering. I contacted all the other vendors who did this type of catering, did all the food tastings as well. Seafood world had the best tasting food for the price. Seafood world does not nickel and dime. Ann the catering manager was very flexible and easy going. The day of the wedding we received so many compliments on how good the food was! The servers were extremely polite, and professional. We didn't receive any complaints from our guests, I was so relieved and happy that we selected them! I would definitely recommend them to any bride that wants delicious food and an easy to work with caterer

  Working with Ann was amazing! We knew we wanted an 8-course Asian menu, and Seafood World knocked it out of the park. They have various menu sets to choose from at different price points. They also offer dim sum appetizers, which were definitely a hit and sooo tasty!

  Ann Cong is Absolutely Wonderful!

  We had our wedding in San Juan Capistrano and hired Seafood World to cater for us. I can't tell you how many people came up to us after and said "This is by far the best food I have ever had at a wedding that didn't take place at an Asian restaurant!"
  
  Ann met with us multiple times to go over the food, talk to us about making changes to the standard menu to help us get what we were looking for, and also was able to provide meals to all the vendors based on their personal food preferences. She also worked very well with our wedding coordinator and was familiar with the venue and layout of everything. Since our venue point of contact was very busy sometimes we didn't have the information we needed to make informative decisions at times. Luckily due to Ann's experience she was able to provide us a lot of insight on their responses as well as what other couples had done at the venue.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Ann was very attentive and followed us around to ensure we were eating, and getting everything we needed. She also brought us tea, water, and snacks as we really didn't have much time to eat. Her team did a great job setting up, and I'm very happy with the service Seafood World was able to provide!   SWC helped cater our wedding in my parents' backyard. It turned out to be a beautiful and successful event. Ann was very organized in catering our DIY wedding from 5 months out and was on-board with our 140 guests, swapping menu items, allowing veggie and seafood allergic options, and lending us silverware/cups/lazy susan/table cloths. She had checklists and double checklists that matched my excel spreadsheet-personality as well. Ann also drove over an hour out of her way to scout our backyard set-up with suggestions for table placement and strategy. It gave me alot of confidence. Ann is young and upbeat, which made communication through email or text convenient and easy for the ever-busy bride-to-be. This is a family run place in that they have a solid finger on every event every day, but they also are professional and capable of large scale events. The food was excellent - freshly cooked on-site and guests stated it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! We had peking duck, garlic lobster, and honey walnut shrimp that topped the requests. Our guests had so much food to eat and were very satisfied, even our vegetarian guests. We had a bit of trouble with the glassware not being spot-free, but the problem with quickly solved with a bit of team work and hustle. We also were bummed that Ann ended up being pulled away to a different event that day, but instead, she sent her best coordinator and... her mother! It seemed like a very respectful gesture and so we were lucky to have a pro. The staff and supervisor were very accommodating and polite and able to adjust their style based on what was happening that night. They seemed to trouble-shoot well with our day-of coordinator (which I highly suggest getting). I have already referred this company to my friends for the quality of food, service, and expertise.

  Food are terrible! We had an expensive menu but no ones could enjoy the food because it was too cold and not hot enough that everyone could enjoy it. Food tasted horrible! The services are so poor, some tables didn't get the full courses we had on our menu. I do not recommend any wedding to go to this catering. You will regret it and sorry for the money you spent. so TERRIBLE...............................
