Secret Salon was delightful to work with and did an amazing job on all of our wedding day hair and makeup services. Alice did a beautiful job on hair styles for my bridesmaids, my mom, and me; and Jennifer did our makeup so perfectly. Our hair and makeup lasted for 12+ hours (through the windy outdoor ceremony, tears, and dancing). They arrived early on wedding day to set up, and they made us feel so calm and comfortable throughout the getting ready process. Alice responded super promptly to all of my emails and was very organized in sending wedding day information and schedules. We loved chatting with Alice and Jennifer while they did our hair and makeup. Highly recommend Secret Salon!Secret Salon's reply:

Alice and her team were incredible! They were kind, funny, and extremely talented. I had never worn hair extensions before, but I wanted to add length to my ponytail, and I honestly felt like a goddess. My makeup was perfectly light and more natural, which is not only what I wanted but it can also be hard to achieve. My sisters kept saying that my hair was “the best wedding and/or bride hair they had ever seen”. My whole bridal party was happy with the results. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Alice and her team. I have never felt more beautiful in my life! They also don’t up-charge the bride which is a breath of fresh hair. When I asked Alice about it, she said “I think of it as a referral, why would I charge the bride more when she’s bringing us business”…and it makes total sense! Book Secret Salon immediately, you won’t regret it! -

Alice and her team did both mine and my bridesmaids' hair, and were amazing throughout the entire process. Alice is so sweet and made me feel supported and comfortable in asking for exactly what I wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day. During my trial, Alice offered great suggestions on how I could achieve exactly the look I was going for. On the actual wedding morning Alice and Jennifer were able to help me and my girls feel calm and confident going into our big day. Everyone's hair looked stunning and I could not be more grateful to have such amazing women helping me and my girls feel our absolute best. -

Love them! I cannot recommend the Secret Salon highly enough! Alice was so prompt to respond to my numerous emails. She was so sweet and excited for our wedding. She was so professional and genuinely kind. She worked hard with me on creating a schedule that worked for everyone. She was organized and great at communication.
On the day of the wedding, Jane did our hair. Everyone’s hair looked amazing! She did such a good job! She was very sweet and professional. My bridesmaids came with several ideas and pictures, and she made it a reality. She listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions when I needed them.
Helena did our make up on the wedding day. She worked with what I wanted and gave advice when I asked for it. One other bridesmaid and I are not big make up people, and she really helped us. She made me feel at ease. She even offered to step up and say something to my photographer when he started to stress me out.
The Secret Salon made me feel so special! They really cared about making my day the best it could be! They kept us on schedule even when my bridesmaids were not being quick about things. All of my bridesmaids and my mom felt really beautiful. Everybody had great things to say about the experience.

I had a great experience with Secret Salon!!! Alice was so communicative and accommodating, and all the stylists were very talented. I had Arasely do my hair and makeup and she was particularly amazing! She totally listened to my requests for a natural makeup look and my hair was exactly like the inspiration pictures I showed her. I seriously have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Plus, the prices are so reasonable, especially for bridal hair & makeup. Couldn't recommend more! -

Amazing Customer Service
Secret Salon was a breeze to work with!! They did an amazing job with our hair and makeup and were super flexible with my girls changing their minds on what services they wanted. The makeup trial process was great, really helped me to see what I was envisioning for my wedding makeup! -

I cannot say enough great things about Alice and Jane! I got to meet Alice during my trial and she was so sweet and welcoming and I’m sure would be a lovely person to have on your wedding day team. Jane did my makeup & hair at the trial as well as the hair and makeup for me, my mom, and one of my bridesmaids on my wedding day. She did a phenomenal job on all three of us! I felt absolutely gorgeous! Additionally she is such a calm and upbeat person, she has the perfect vibe for what could be a stressful morning :D We were doing hair and makeup at my apartment on the wedding day when we lost power! Jane started doing our eyes and other makeup while we waited to see if it would come back quickly. When it didn’t she happily agreed to pack everything up and drive us across the street to meet where my other bridemaids were getting ready on their own before coming over. She reset up in their hotel room and continued like nothing had ever interrupted the morning flow. Additionally their prices are so reasonable! I called 8 different salons before stumbling across Secret Salon, and all of them charged almost double for the bride’s makeup and hair compared to bridesmaids while Secret Salon charges the same incredible rate. Jane was also really great at listening to what all three of us wanted for our hair and makeup and working on creating exactly that look. And any changes I wanted after, she happily implemented. Then she showed my bridesmaids how to put my veil in and take it out of my hair so that it wouldn’t pull out a bunch of the pinned curls. The whole process was so easy, fun, and comfortable! I would recommend Secret Salon to any bride in San Diego :D

Alice was absolutely amazing! Finding a hair and makeup artist was the hardest part of my wedding. I found Secret Salon and loved the reviews and photos! I met Alice for a hair and makeup tutorial and immediately loved her. Alice is so sweet and made me feel so beautiful. I wanted just a simple half up/half down curled look with natural makeup. She did airbrush makeup (a must!) and I ended up getting extensions because it made me look so glamorous! I looked absolutely stunning but still like me, which is exactly what I wanted. My hair and makeup stayed throughout the entire wedding and my bridal party loved their hair and makeup. I would definitely recommend Alice! -

Katie Sent on 11/12/2015It can be really difficult to navigate the hundreds of wedding vendors out there, but if you're looking for a truly professional make-up and hair artist you can stop looking!
Not only is Alice a professional beauty expert who has had her work published on various platforms, she is wonderfully amicable and a true pleasure to be around! My whole experience with Alice put me at ease knowing that the day of my wedding was going to go smoothly and I was going to look like a model!
I had a total of five women get their hair and makeup done on the day of my wedding. Alice and her assistant Jane showed up at 9 AM at our venue (she travels to you, brings everything she will need to get you done including chairs)...and we were NOT their first wedding THAT DAY! They then spent five meticulous hours beautifying my bridal party. Due to the very hot weather, I had changed my mind and decided to put my hair up rather than down as I had done for my trial, and Alice was able to translate my last minute vision and make me feel gorgeous. Her makeup is so lightweight you hardly know it is there, and yet it looked perfect for literally 12 hours. She curled and placed my hair perfectly (it is usually such a pain because it is quite thick yet fine) and it stayed in place through 12 hours of pictures, hugging, heat, wind and of course lots of dancing!
My bridal party and mother all looked divine. I had a very diverse wedding party all with different skin tones and hair types and everyone looked amazing. One of my friends is very dark skinned and she was so afraid that Alice wouldn't have the correct color makeup so she brought her own...well Alice of course had every skin tone color imaginable and matched my friend perfectly. And did I mention that she was completely affordable and willing to work with budget? Yeah. This isn't a dream...she is real life amazing.Secret Salon's reply:

User1986745 Sent on 12/28/2014I have not yet had my wedding so I can't comment on my hair and makeup for that yet, but I had my trial done a few weeks ago and Alice is amazing! She listens to any comments or concerns you may have and definitely takes them into consideration while working her magic. I got my hair and makeup done here to test it out before going to a Christmas party and I got so many comments! I felt so pretty, and I can't wait for her to do this for me again in March for my wedding! -
