Our event manager made the entire process of planning so easy with effort to accommodate us in every way.
Quick respond, simple communication, high level of professionalism from every person on the staff.

Great Value and Amazing Location
This venue is amazing! They have the most beautiful location on the lake, it makes for gorgeous wedding pictures. The staff is great as well. HIGHLY recommendThis venue is amazing! unfortunate experience.
let me start off by saying this venue has a gorgeous lakeside view. very budget friendly. you can customize your packages. they allow outside catering. ample parking for guests.
the reason why i'm giving this place a low review is because of how they handled my refund request. i requested for them to do a backdrop, as seen in the photos. i gave them a reference photo, told them what i wanted. on the day of the wedding, i noticed that a lot of the decor i wanted seemed incomplete, but didn't think much of it because i figured they were working on it and would be finished by the time everything started... but nope.
first off, i wanted drapes on the ceiling with purple lanterns. this was not arranged in the way i wanted, and the owner agreed that it didn't look right. this was sort of fixed, so i didn't say much. my centerpieces did not have any greenery, which made the tables look kinda plain, but whatever, that's fine. the backdrop though? that was terrible. no one took photos of it. i paid $675 for that backdrop for people take photos with, and none of my guests did because they all agreed that it looked weird. i found out that the person who was in charge of the decor had to leave for an emergency, which i completely understand. however, that backdrop was NOT up to standard at all.

Pretty, but they like surprise fees
I recently hosted an event at Serendipity Events, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The location was amazing, but the venue staff and the eagerness to charge us for every little thing made it a nightmare of a venue.
From the start Einav our sales manager was kind and communication with her was a breeze throughout the whole planning process. Even my initial phone conversation with Maggie went well. Once we were over a month out Lexie reached out and this where we were given strict rules, had hesitations with allowing us to have a mariachi (when we confirmed with Einav prior to signing the contract). Lexi provided us with a diagram that indicated we had the whole venue space when in fact we only had 3/4 of the space due to all of their decore items. Lexi kept adding fees that were not discussed or contracted (the fees were told to my guests and not the main person paying for the venue). She arrived late so all communication and questions went to the porters and when she arrived, she wasn't very kind, she didn't bother to introduce herself and she ultimately didn't help us much with anything.
Veronica who was our porter on site assisted with items well, she knew her way around the venue and also assisted Lexi with items she couldn't figure out, but her customer service wasn't there. My only true complaint was that I wish she would have come to me, the person contracted, when she had issues on how my family cleaned up their venue. Overall, she was the only one that assisted me when I asked, but she was fast and responsive.
The Bartender was rude and short to my guests, and he closed down the bar too soon before we could finish up our tickets.
When we arrived at the venue to set up, we found cups in the bushes, a heavy punching bag in our space, which my family had to move, and the chairs were all dirty and dusty. No one was there to walk us through anything, and I had to search for someone to let them know i was there.
A 2-hour set up time was too short and strict, and the 6pm-10pm event time was way too short as well. The initial price to this venue is reasonable but be warned that you will need to set up your own table and chairs, as well as have your family clean up just so they don't charge you extra for servers when you have a taco person (not a sit-down banquet). They will try to charge you for heavy trash bags in the last minute causing your guests to walk far to throwaway the trash themselves. We were also told that the venue owner keeps a watchful eye over us through cameras.
Honestly it was such a disappointment when the venue location is so nice. Regarding the setup and teardown, we clearly stated the terms in the contract for transparency. We also made an exception for the mariachi band to make your event special, despite our usual policy.
